Four point bending tests of the brazed joint composed of sintered silicon nitride and 0.2% carbon steel with Cusil ABA filler which were fabricated at 86$0^{\circ}C$ were performed at temperatures, 25, 100, 200, 300, 400, 50$0^{\circ}C$ From the experiments, the maximum bending strength was measured at 30$0^{\circ}C$ From the 3D FE analysis of the residual stress of the brazed joint, it was revealed that the thermally induced residual stresses were minimized when the environmental temperature was 35$0^{\circ}C$ Considering the degradation of the filler material at high temperatures, it was calculated that the maximum bending strength of the brazed joint occured just below the temperature of the minimum thermal residual stress and the thermal residual stress was the dominative parameter of the brazed joint.
한반도 남부지역에서 산출되는 카올린광물의 고온영역에서의 광물학적 특성 연구

Dehydroxylation and mullitization of primary and secondary kaolins were investigated in order to compare and understand the differences in thermal behaviours by DTA and TG up to $1,100^{\circ}C$. Chemical analyses and EPMA of the samples revealed nearly ideal unit-cell formulae of kaolins. The weight losses of dickite and halloysite are 14% and 12.5% on the average, respectively. The activation energies of dehydroxylation of kaolin minerals were calculated according to Kissinger's approach which uses various heating rates in DTA to estimate the activation energy of thermal reactions. The activation energies of dehydroxylation of halloysites from Daemoung and Buksam mines are about $163kJmor^{-1}$ (white), $168kJmor^{-1}$ (pink), and $176kJmor^{-1}$ respectively. The activation energies of dickites collected from Sungsan and Ogmae mines are about $166kJmor^{-1}$ and $387kJmor^{-1}$. The asymmetric shape of endothermic peak in DTA, the relative intensities of OH-stretching bands in FTIR spectroscopy and the existence of residual XRD peaks of the samples which were heated at $550^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours indicate that Sungsan dickite may be more disordered than Ogmae dickite. The new phase formed in thermally treated samples in the range of $900^{\circ}C$ to $1,100^{\circ}C$ was identified as mullite by XRD on the basis of disappearing of the characteristic peaks of kaolins and increasing of amorphous background upon heat treatment. On further heating, loss of more water from dehydroxylate resulted in the formation of mullite and the characteristic X-ray diffraction patterns of mullite began to appear at about $900{\sim}1,000^{\circ}C$ in kaolins.
대건중탕 및 쑥뜸치료로 호전된 간세포암 환자의 암성 통증 1례

Objective: Most cancer patients suffer from various forms of pain. This study presents the case of a patient with hapatocellular carcinoma with abdominal pain treated by Daegunjoong-tang. Method: For 7 days, the patient was treated with Daegunjoong-Tang and Moxibustion. We planned to maintain moxibustion CV12(中脘), CV4(關元) for 20 minutes everyday. To evaluate the therapeutic effect, we used Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS). Results: After the treatments, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale (COWS) score about abdominal pain are decreased. Conclusions: These results suggested that Daegunjoong-tang and Moxibustion have a beneficial effect on relieving abdominal pain caused by cancer.

IMF로 상징되는 '한국의 추락'을 겪으면서 '전 존재의 경제화'라는 경향을 섬뜩한 심정으로 지켜보고 있다. 이것을 방치할 경우 맞이할 또 다른 위기가 손에 잡힐 듯 보이지만 이미 '대학'도 '교육'도 '철학'도 떨어진 낙엽처럼 짓밟히고 있다. 세상은 이것들을 더 이상 '존경'하지 않는다. 그래도 이것들이 '숭고한' 어떤 것이라 믿고 매진해 온 사람들은 그 이념을 버리지 못하고 오늘도 고민한다. 살다보면 언젠가 철학의 목소리가 아쉬워 인터뷰를 요청해 올 날이 있을지도 모른다. 그 때를 위한 예행연습 한 토막을 적어 본다.
Nd:YAG 레이저 조사시 치근면에 미치는 효과에 관한 주사전자현미경적 연구

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the in vitro effects of Nd:YAG laser irradiation on removal of a root surface smear layer after root planing in comparison with Tetracycline HCl. The 60 extracted human teeth due to severe periodontal disease were vigorously scaled and root planed with Gracey curet. Thirty specimen($5{\times}5{\times}2mm$) were obtained from root planed surface of 30 human teeth and assigned randomly to one of three groups : root planed group(5 specimen), Tetracycline HCI group(5 specimen, burnished for 5 minutes), and Nd:YAG laser group(25 specimen, German Dental Laser, Fotona Twinlight). Nd:YAG laser group was divided into 4 subgroups according to power of 1W, 1.5W, 2W, 3W at frequency to 10Hz. The specimen were then fixed, and examed by Scanning electron microscopic study. 30 of 60 human teeth used to measurement of the intrapulpal temperature rise during laser irradiation. Laser-irradiated surface exhibited various surface texture from relative flat surface to irregular surface with patent dentinal tubules of various shape and size. In some area, the root surface alteration which are carbonization, pit and crater formation and melting and resolidification were observed. The number of exposed dentinal tubules per unit($100_{\mu}m^2$) on tetracycline HCI group was more than that in the laser group below 1.5W of power(150mJ/pulse) and was significantly less than that in laser group above 2W of power(200mJ/pulse)(P<0.OOl). As power increased the intrapulpal temperature rise also increased. The result suggested that the parameter which effectively remove root surface smear layer than tetracycline HCI may cause thermal damage to pulp and root surface alteration result from laser exposure would indicate need for additional instrumentation. Thus, Nd:YAG laser irradiation in these parameter may not be appropriate for clinical use as adjunct to conventional periodontal therapy.
연구용 CAD툴에 의한 소형 MPU의 설계 및 파이프라인화의 고찰

본 논문에서는 연구용 VHDL 및 CAD 툴을 사용하여 톱다운 설계방식에 의하여 소 형 마이크로프로세서(MPU;microprocessor unit)의 설계를 수행한다. 이를 위하여 기본 MPU와 이의 파이프라인화 구조를 제안한다. 설계목표와 명령어, 아키텍쳐가 결정되면, 이를 우선 C 언어로 모의실험하여 동작을 확인하며, 다음 VHDL 모의실험의 경우, 주어 진 입력에 대하여 내부 레지스터의 내용을 점검하여 동작을 확인한다. 다음에, 이를 연구용 CAD 툴에 의해 완전주문형(full-custom)/반주문형(semi-custom) 설계방식에 의해 레이아웃을 수행하며 관련 모의 실험을 수행한다. 이어 성능개선을 위하여 제안 한 파이프라인 구조를 모의실험을 통하여 타당성을 확인하며 아울러 관련 문제점 및 향후 연구방향에 관해 논한다. 결론적으로, 본 논문을 통하여 MPU의 설계방법을 정립 하였으며, 아울러 성능개선을 위한 아키텍쳐의 설계변화가 가능하였다. In this paper, design of small microprocessor unit is implemented using research purpose VHDL and CAD tools by top-down design method. For this, original basic MPU and its pipelining architectures are suggested. Once, design target, instruction sets, architecture are decided, the operation is confirmed by C language simulation, and then the operation is confirmed by checking internal register contents for given inputs in the case of VHDL simulation. Then, design layouts are made by full/semi-custom design methods by research CAD tools and related simulation is implemented. The feasibility of suggested pipelined structure for performance improvement is confirmed by simulation, and related problems and future research directions are discussed. In conclusion, the MPU design methodology is set up and the design change of architecture is possible by this paper.
