In the present experimental study, the regime limit and pressure drop of dry-plug flow (dry wall condition at the gas portions of plug flow) in round mini-channels has been investigated. The air-water mixture was flowed through the round mini-channels made of Teflon, where the tube diameters ranged from 1.26 to 2.06 ㎜. For the present experimental range, with decreasing of the tube diameter, the transition between the plug and slug flows (wet and dry) happened at the higher gas superficial velocity region, which were in good agreement with the previous flow pattern maps tested. On the other hand, the transition between the wet- and dry-plug flows was little affected by the change of the tube diameter. In the pressure drop of dry-plug flows, among the correlations tested, the Lee and Lee’s (2008) correlation best fitted the measured pressure drop data within the mean deviation of 10 % for the present experimental range.
Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr 및 Zr-Nb-Sn-Fe 합금 피복관의 기계적 특성 및 Creep 거동

Since the 1990s, the second generation of Zirconium alloys containing main alloy compositions of Nb, Sn and Fe have been used as a replacement of Zircaloy-4 (Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr), a first-generation Zirconium alloy, to meet severe and rigorous reactor operating conditions characterized by high-burn-up, high-power and high-pH operations. In this study, the mechanical properties and creep behaviors of Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr and Zr-Nb-Sn-Fe alloys were investigated in a temperature range of $450{\sim}500^{\circ}C$ and in a stress range of $80{\sim}150\;MPa$. The mechanical testing results indicate that the yield and tensile strengths of the Zr-Nb-Sn-Fe alloy are slightly higher compared to those of Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr. This can be explained by the second phase strengthening of the $\beta$-Nb precipitates. The creep test results indicate that the stress exponent for the steady-state creep rate decreases with the increase in the applied stress. However, the stress exponent of the Zr-Sn-Fe-Cr alloy is lower than that of the Zr-Nb-Sn-Fe alloy in a relatively high stress range, whereas the creep activation energy of the former is slightly higher than that of the latter. This can be explained by the dynamic deformation aging effect caused by the interaction of dislocations with Sn substitutional atoms. A higher Sn content leads to a lower stress exponent value and higher creep activation energy.

Malignant rhabdold tumor is a distinct renal tumor in the pediatric age group. It was originally described as a rhabdomyosarcomatold variant of Wilms' tumor. However, subsequent studies fatted to confirm myogenous differentiation, so it is now considered to be a distinct and unique type of highly malignant tumor, histogenetically unrelated. Although extrarenal forms of this tumor are rare, several examples have been described in other sites, especially the liver, prostate, paravertebral area, urinary bladder and soft tissue. We experienced a case of malignant rhabdiod tumor located in the intraabdominal cavity in a 10 month-old boy. Smear of peritoneal fluid showed round, polygonal and irregular shaped cells with large nuclei, ample cytoplasm containing light pink to purple cytoplasmic inclusions, and one or a few prominent nucleoli. Immunocytochemistry revealed positivity to cytokeratin, epithelial membrane antigen and vimentin, and negativity to desmin and neuron-specific enolase. These distinct cytologic appearance and immunophenotypes were most consistent with a diagnosis of extrarenal malignant rhabdoid tumor. The cytoplasmic inclusions were correlated with eosinophilic inclusions seen in histologic section and electron microscopy confirmed this interpretation, showing filamentous aggregations in the cytoplasms of the tumor cells.

본 논문은 마운트의 형상 정밀도와 볼트의 체결력에 따라 마운트에 고정되는 반사경에 발생되는 응력과 변형량에 대해 연구하였다. 일반적인 반사광학계에 사용되는 고정밀 반사경은 볼트나 접착제로 마운트에 조립되는데 이러한 경우 볼트의 체결력과 접착제의 접착력으로 인해 발생하는 장력이 반사경면을 뒤틀리게 한다. 또한 반사경과 마운트를 조립한 후 반사경에 접촉되는 마운트의 표면 형상 정밀도에 따라 반사경면이 뒤틀려서 형상 정밀도가 변한다. 본 논문에서는 유한요소법을 이용한 구조 해석을 통해 반사경과 접촉되는 마운트의 형상 정밀도와 볼트의 체결력에 의해 고정밀 반사경의 반사경면에 발생되는 응력분포와 뒤틀림 변형량에 대해 연구하였다. In this paper, the effect of bolt clamping force and form accuray of contact surface between mirror and mount on mirror surface was studied. Normally, mirror used in reflecting optical system was assembled with mount by bolts or adhesive. In this case, the tension caused by bolt clamping force or adhesive force may distort the mirror surface. Also, form accuracy error of the contact surface have a negative impact on wrenched mirror surface which assembled by bolts or adhesive. In this study, stress and distorted displacements on mirror surface were analyzed according to the different contact surface form accuracies and bolt clamping forces by using the finite element analysis method.
