여가활동으로 재즈댄스 경험과 의미

The purpose of this study was to articulate the essential characteristics and its components of jazz dance experience. For doing this, the study focused its main concern into jazz dance participant's own subjective experience. The 'experiential description and analysis' method was used to collect and analyze 7 research participants jazz dance experience and categorize their meaning from the phenomenological perspective. As a result, 5 components were drawn from the analysis. The components resulted from the analysis are power improvement, form diversity, diversity work style, confidence improvement, stress reduction. The following was proposed as a result of this study: First, jazz dance included types of dance and exercise. Second, jazz dance contains a wide variety of types. so to fill any needs. Third, jazz dance music comes in many different forms, from classic to hip-hop. so jazz dance can make feel all kinds of different emotions. Fourth, according to the participated in jazz dance, it was partially effected on confidence. Consequently, the effects gained from jazz dance is physical effects, psychological effects, cognitive effects. 본 연구는 재즈댄스 경험자들이 취미활동으로 재즈댄스를 시작하고, 지속하게 되면서 겪게 되는 경험의 의미를 현상학적 방법으로 탐구하여 재즈댄스 참여자들의 경험을 보다 본질적으로 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구자는 의도적 표집 방법(purposive sampling)을 사용하여 여가활동으로 재즈댄스에 참여하는 경험자 7명의 심층면접과 참여관찰을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 주제별 약호화(coding), 범주화(categorization), 개념화(conceptualization)의 3단계 분석과정을 거쳤으며, 그 결과 재즈댄스 참여를 통해 체력의 향상, 바른 체격형성, 다양한 작품양식의 경험, 자신감 향상, 스트레스 해소를 경험하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 토대로 다음과 같은 결론을 도출할 수 있다. 첫째, 재즈댄스는 무용이 추구하는 신체를 통한 내면의 미적 표현이 균형 있게 실현되는 측면을 갖춤과 동시에 건강한 체력과 바른 체격 형성에 도움이 되는 운동(exercise)의 측면이 균형 있게 공존한다는 특징을 가지고 있다. 둘째, 재즈댄스는 다양한 작품양식을 통해 참여자의 폭넓은 욕구 충족이 가능하며, 작품구성의 난이도가 다양하여 참여자의 흥미 유발과 성취동기를 자극한다. 셋째, 다양한 음악 장르를 사용하여 여러 가지 감정의 소화가 가능해 감정이입이 쉬우며 몰입에도 도움이 된다. 넷째, 재즈댄스 참여자들은 체력의 향상과 체형의 변화를 경험함과 동시에 타인 앞에 자신의 동작을 노출 시키는 과정에서 자신감 향상을 경험하고 있었다. 이와 같이 재즈댄스가 가진 다양한 요소들은 참여자의 흥미를 유발, 참여 동기를 지속시키는 것으로 나타나 여가활동으로서 그 활용도가 높이 평가된다.

성차별적 위계구조의 담장 넘기: ‘교수 갑질’·성희롱 사건 대응활동과 대학 미투운동의 현재

This article is an auto-ethnography and case study on the Me Too Movement in university, aiming at problematizing gender discriminative hierarchical structure of academic field. Specifically, it analyzes “Professor H” incident in Department of Sociology, Seoul National University, and the activities of ‘Graduate Students Countermeasure Committee’. For several years “Professor H” had abused his power on the victims in his department. Despite the suffering of many students and assistants from various sexual harassments and human rights violations, they had been justified and connived by the professor-dominated academic culture in the name of ‘teaching’ and ‘instruction’. The ‘Countermeasure Committee’ made an issue of sexual and power harrassment in academic field, and its activism revealed sexist and undemocratic practices of male professor-dominated disciplinary committee in university. In spite of secondary victimizations caused by discriminative disciplinary procedures, vigorous activism and solidarity among various agencies inside and outside of university had followed. In the wave of Me Too Movement in 2018, this activism has marked “Professor H” incident as a touchstone for issues of students’ human rights and gender-equal academic culture. Thick descriptions of this incident clarify the implication of Me Too Movement in university and its transformative power against the gender discriminative academic structure. 이 글은 대학 미투운동에 대한 사례분석이자 자기기술지로, 학계의 성차별적 위계구조에 대한 성찰을 촉구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 최근 2년간 진행된 서울대 사회학과‘H교수’사건 경과와 대학원대책위 활동을 기술해 피해 발생의 맥락과 사건의 의미를구체화했다. 해당 사건에서 학생·직원들은 남성 교수의 자의적 권한 남용으로 인해 다양한 성차별적 괴롭힘과 인권침해를 겪었다. 피해는 지도와 교육의 논리로 정당화되었고 교수-권력이 강고한 대학과 학계 문화에서 침묵되고 있었다. 대책위 활동은 이를 문제시하며 사건을 공론화했고 제도적 처리 절차를 거쳤다. 이 과정에서 교수 중심의 비민주적, 비대칭적 징계 관행의 모순이 드러났고 처리 제도의 한계가 지적되었다. 확장된 공론화와 다양한 연대 관계는 이 사건을 학생인권 보장과 대학 민주화의 시금석으로위치지으며 참여자들에게 상호교육과 성장의 체험이 되고 있었다. 이러한 문제화 과정은 성평등한 학계 구조와 관계의 재구성을 요청하는 것으로, 장의 논리와 재생산 구조를 바꾸려는 대학 미투운동의 현재와 그 의의를 이해할 수 있게 한다.

선수의 언어폭력 경험 실태에 관한 사례연구

이 연구의 목적은 스포츠 현장에서 발생하는 지도자의 언어폭력 실태를 조사하여 선수들이 겪는 피해의 심각성을 알리고, 사회적 관심과 개입의 출발점을 마련하는 것이다. 이를 위해 지도자의 언어폭력을 경험한 선수 7인을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였으며, 언어폭력에 대한 다각적인 분석을 위해 질적 사례연구방법을 채택하였다. 그 결과 14개의 세부영역, 5개의 범주가 도출되었다. 선수들이 경험하는 지도자의 언어폭력은 모호하고, 반복적이며, 폐쇄적인 상황에서 일어나며 소극적인 대처를 하는 구조를 가지고 있었다. 언어폭력은 외상이나 가해자에게 불리한 증거를 남기지 않으면서 피해자의 개인적, 사회적 문제에 영향을 미치므로 현장의 분위기와 환경의 면밀한 파악은 근본적 대책의 마련에 필수로 생각된다. 이러한 사례연구 결과를 근거로 은밀하게 이루어지는 언어적 폭력에 대한 이해를 통해 관심과 개입을 촉구하며, 언어폭력의 사각지대를 보완하는 면밀한 정책을 마련하여야 한다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the reality of verbal violence by leaders in the sports field to inform the seriousness of the damage suffered by athletes and to prepare a starting point for social interest and intervention. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with seven players who experienced verbal violence by the leader, and a qualitative case study method was adopted for a multifaceted analysis of verbal violence. As a result, 14 detailed areas and 5 categories were derived. Taken together, the verbal violence of the leader experienced by the players occurred in ambiguous, repetitive, and closed situations and had a structure of passive response. Since verbal violence affects the victim's personal and social problems without leaving evidence against trauma or perpetrators, a close understanding of the atmosphere and environment of the site is considered essential for preparing fundamental measures. Based on the results of these case studies, attention and intervention should be urged through understanding of secretly conducted verbal violence, and close policies should be prepared to supplement the blind spots of verbal violence.

The study of art and popularity acquired the characteristics of jazz dance forms of expression that is intended to investigate. Based on jazz dance to the popularity of the artistry arts by securing, as well as stage performances and film, mass media, a variety of musical genres such as the utilization is getting attention as a new genre of dance. However, with a variety of artistic fusion jazz dance as much as possible for the reader to understand the genre and the distinction is ambiguous genre of dance and other unique characteristics that distinction it jazz, and a description of the data is insufficient. This researcher specializing in jazz dance book, articles and magazine. that are common characteristics of jazz dance, selective, and based on this dance and any other distinguishing characteristic of jazz dance with unique form of expression will be described. These results indicated the characteristics of expressive forms of jazz dance follows. First, jazz dance is africanism. Second, jazz dance is rhythmicity. Third, jazz dance is complex. Finally, jazz dance is a variable. 이 연구는 예술성과 대중성을 동시에 확보한 재즈댄스의 움직임 특성을 파악하는데 그 목적이 있다. 재즈댄스는 공연 및 무대 예술 뿐만 아니라, 영화, 대중매체, 뮤지컬 등 다양한 장르에의 활용이 가능한 춤의 장르로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 재즈댄스 움직임에 대한 기초자료나 핵심적인 설명은 턱없이 부족하며, 이러한 상황에서 타 장르와의 지속적인 교류가 이루어지면서 재즈댄스의 단편적이고 대중적인 모습들이 부각되어 재즈댄스라는 독자적인 움직임에 대한 특성과 정확한 의미는 더욱 모호해지고 있다. 단지 강렬하다, 다이내믹하다, 각자의 개성을 표현 할 수 있다 등의 겉모습만을 표현하는 설명들이 난무하고 있는 것이다. 이에 연구자는 재즈댄스라는 움직임에 대한 더 정확하고 핵심이 되는 설명이나 내용들이 있어야 한다고 생각했다. 이러한 목적을 위해 전문서적, 논문, 전문잡지 등에서 공통적으로 이야기하고 무분별하게 퍼져있는 재즈댄스의 조각들을 형태학적인 방법을 통해 체계화하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 나타난 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 재즈댄스는 아프리카적이다. 둘째, 재즈댄스는 리드믹컬하다. 셋째, 재즈댄스는 복합적이다. 마지막으로 재즈댄스는 가변적이다. 이것은 그 동안 당연하게만 생각했던 재즈댄스의 겉모습이 아니라 그러한 모습을 만들어내는 움직임의 특성과 설명을 뒷받침하여 재즈댄스라는 움직임을 바르게 이해하고 소개하는데 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.

국가대표 선수의 성격강점에 관한 현상학적 연구

이 연구는 국가대표 선수들의 체험에 내재하여 있는 강점의 본질적인 의미를 찾고자 Giorgi(1985)의 현상학적 연구방법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 연구참여자는 대한체육회에 소속된 국가대표 개인, 단체 종목 선수들로 참여를 원하는 선수들을 의도적 표집 방법을 사용하여 최종 6명을 선발하였다. 심층 면담은 2019년 9월부터 12월까지 진행되었으며, 1회 90~180분, 각 선수당 2회의 심층 면담을 시행하였다. 그 결과 17개의 하위요인, 5개 요인으로 범주가 도출되었으며, 5개의 요인은 좋은 습관 만들기, 나만의 무기 만들기, 긍정적 사고, 단순화하기, 좋은 컨디션 유지하기로 나타났다. 결과에서 나타난 5가지의 요인은 자발적으로 이루어질 때 강점으로 발휘되며, 이러한 강점은 선수들이 진정으로 자신의 종목을 좋아하게 되는 계기와 활력을 만드는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 강점들은 선수들의 긍정심리프로그램 개발과 심리기술훈련에 긍정 정보로 활용될 것으로 기대한다. This study was analyzed using Giorgi (1985)'s phenomenological research method to find the essential meaning of the strengths inherent in the experience of national players. The research participants selected the final six athletes who wanted to participate in the national team's individual and team events using the Purposeful sampling method. In-depth interviews were conducted from September to December 2019, and 90 to 180 minutes were conducted once and two in-depth interviews were conducted for each athletes. As a result, categories were derived from 17 sub-factors, 5 factors, and 5 factors were found to make good habits, make my own weapons, think positively, simplify and maintain good condition. The five factors shown in the results are used as strengths when they are voluntarily done, and these strengths create a chance and vitality for players to truly like their sport. These character strengths are expected to be used as positive information for players' development of positive psychology programs and psychological skills training.
