초미세먼지 발생원으로 주목받고 있는 연소공정에서 배출되는 질소산화물을 제거하기 위한 SNCR 및 SCR공정의 배출허용규제가 강화될 것으로 예상되며, SNCR에 의한 탈질공정은 고온에서 운전되고 탈질효율이 약 60% 정도에 그치므로, 이를 대비하여 SCR에 의한 2차 처리를 해주는 탈질공정의 개선이 요구되고 있다. 여과백 소재인 PTFE 섬유에 촉매를 담지하는 방법에는 표면 코팅기법과 섬유제조 과정에서 고분자 섬유질 내에 고분산하는 방법이 연구되고 있는데, 본 연구에서는 PTFE 섬유사 내에 촉매를 분산시키기 위한 연구가 진행되었다. 본 연구에서는 집진에 이용되고 있는 PTFE 여과포 소재의 제조과정에서 먼저 V₂O5/TiO₂ 탈질촉매를 분산시켜 여과포 섬유 자체에 탈질기능을 부가하고자 하였다. 추가적으로 MnO₂/TiO₂와 V₂O5-MnO₂/TiO₂의 NH₃-SCR전환율을 비교분석하였다. V₂O5/TiO₂ 탈질촉매는 함침법에 의해서 대량으로 제조하였으며, 제조된 분말 촉매를 PTFE 분말과 혼합하여 로드를 제조한 후, 제유 및 연신공정을 거쳐 촉매가 분산된 PTFE 섬유사를 제조하였고, 탈질촉매가 분산된 PTFE 섬유사의 탈질성능을 조사하기 위하여 고정층 반응기에서 온도에 따른 NH₃-SCR 반응에서 탈질성능을 비교하였다. 또한, PTFE 섬유사 내에 촉매의 분산상태 및 함유량을 확인하기 위하여 주사전자현미경(SEM)과 실체 현미경을 이용하여 PTFE 섬유사 표면형상을 관찰하였으며, TG실험으로부터 촉매 담지량을 측정하였다. 표면분석 결과로부터 미세 촉매입자가 PTFE 섬유사 내에 분산된 것이 확인되었다.
WO3의 첨가에 따른 V2O5/TiO2 촉매의 저온 SCR 성능개선

In this study, the catalytic activity of V2O3-WO3/TiO2 for NH3-SCR(Selective Catalytic Reduction) wasinvestigated at low temperatures below 230 °C. The V2O3-WO3/TiO2 catalysts were prepared by impregnating vanadiumand tungsten precursors on commercially available TiO2 powder. The NO conversion was measured according to theamount of WO3 and the thermal treatment temperature of the catalyst. Based on the experimental results, the highestcatalytic performance for NH3-SCR was obtained when 5 wt% of WO3 was added into V2O5/TiO2. In addition, the calcinationtemperature was optimized to 300 °C to maximize the catalytic activity. XRD and XPS results suggested that vanadiumand tungsten ions were partially dissolved into the TiO2 crystal lattice. The doping of vanadium and tungsten on the TiO2crystal structurer enhanced NO removal performance of the catalyst at a low temperature.

The Saemangeum project is unique in the world. The tidal range together with the huge strorage area cause very large current velocities in final closure gap up to 7m/s. on both sides of the closure gaps enormous scour holes up to 20m exist. For a good prediction of the stability of dike and the development of the erosion gap, knowing the correct stream pattern is very important. Details of the flow such mean and peak velocities, flow direction, eddis, etc. must be known in the closure gaps. At this moment there are may not be sufficient insight in these flow details. The hydraulic scale model, the mathematical models and flow measurements, which are now being used, do not give much detail on these. The measurements of stream flow were successfully executed by means of an ADCP with a boat that drifts along a flow in the closure gap. ADCP measurements can be done up to flow velocities of 20m/s and a depth of about 70m. The presentation of results are very helpful to analyze stream pattern and create design rules for effective future closures. Anyway, The success of final closure of Saemanguem Sea Dike is an enormous achievement.

제3회 국제 질화물 반도체 학술회의가 지난 7월5일부터 5일동안 프랑스 남부 지중해 연안에 있는 몽펠리에서 열렸다. 이번 학술회의에 한국대표로 참가한 성균관대 부진효교수는 '우리나라가 시급히 해결할 문제는 화합물 반도체의 박막성장기술을 빠른 시일내에 제품으로 연결시켜야하며 이를 위해서는 독자적인 연구에서 벗어나 산ㆍ학ㆍ연연구그룹을 형성하여 국가의 전략과제로 연구를 진행시켜야 한다"고 주장했다.

Plasma-polymer pure ethylcyclohexane thin lms were deposited on Si(100) substrates at room temperature by using PECVD (plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition). Hydrogen and argon gases were used as precursor bubbler and carrier gases, respectively. We also investigated the electrical and the physical properties of the plasma-polymer thin films at various deposition RF powers and annealing temperatures. The as-grown and the annealed plasma-polymer thin lms were analyzed by using FT-IR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) and SEM (scanning electron microscopy). The IR spectra showed that the plasma-polymer thin lms had totally different chemical functionalities from those of the ethylcyclohexane precursor and that the chemical functionalities of the thin lms changed with the RF power and annealing temperature. From the SEM results, we determined the thicknesses of the thin films before and after the annealing, with the thickness shrinkage (%) being measured by using SEM cross-sectional images. An impedance analyzer was used to measure the capacitance and from the electrical property measurements, the lowest dielectric constant obtained was 1.71.

Rearfoot control can be defined as the relative ability of a shoe to limit the amount of subtalar joint pronation immediately following footstrike. A normal amount of pronation provides a means of decreasing peak forces experienced by the leg, but excessive pronation of the foot can be arised its injures. The purpose of this study is to compare amount of pronation according to a difference between medial and later hardness of shoe midsole for better design of running shops. The experiment is examined for 7 running shoes. 8 males. to measure the Achilles tendon angle and rearfoot angle using high speed camera. The results is conducted that the changes of Achilles tendon angle significantly differ at each test shoe with increased running speed. And, a difference between medial and lateral hardness of midsole affects rearfoot motion of runner. The displacements of maximal Achilles tendon angle described a amount of pronation motion is decreased when medial hardness of midsole is large more than lateral.
