1. 정자의 concentration은 Percoll DG(46.8±8.7)x106/ml에서(87.6±6.4)x106/ml로 의의있게 증가하였으나(p$lt;0.05 albumin DG는(38.3±11.0)x106/ml로 sperm wash swim up은 (35.2±10.1)x106/ml에서 (34.2±10.1)x106/ml로 별 변화가 없었다. 2. Percoll DG는 64±7.6%로 sperm wash and swim up은 64.4±7.3%로 각각 의의있게 증가하였다. 3. 12.7±6.2%, sperm wash and swim up에 비해 높은 운동성 정자의 획득을 보였다. Percoll density gradient, albumin density gradient, sperm wash and swim up are popular methods of motile sperm selection from the original semen. This study was undertaken to assess the number of motile sperm after preparation by three methods. The results were as follows. 1. There was more significant increase of sperm concentration in preparation by Percoll density gradient than albumin density gradient or sperm wash and swim up method. (p$lt;0.05)The concentration of sperm by Percoll DG was changed from(46.8 ±8.7)x106/ml to (87.6±6.4)x106/ml, it was changed form(38.3±11.0)x106/ml(36.1±8/3)x106/ml by albumin density gradient, and it was changed from (35.2±14.0)x106/ml to(34.2±10.1)x106/ml by sperm wash and swim up. 2. There was significant increase in sperm motility after preparation by each method in comparison with initial sperm motility.(p$lt;0.05) 3. Percent recovery of motile sperm is higher in Percoll density gradient(21.4±6.3%)than albumin density gradient(12.8±6.2%)or sperm wash and swim up(12.8±5.3%).
1993 Obstetrics & Gynecology Science Vol.36 No.9
The incidence of congenital anomalies in the general population is reported as being between 0.54-6.8% and two-to three-fold higher(6.6-11.4%)in diaberic pregnancy But the incidence of severely of severely malformed anomalies which is life-threatening or requires surgical intervention is seven-to ten-fold higher than in normal pregnancy. The incidence of holoprosencephaly was very rare, but in diabetic pregnancy it is reported much higher than nondiabetic pregnancy. We experienced acase of multiple congenital anomalies in pregnancy associated with type Ⅱ overt diabetes mellitus(White classification, class B)and therefore we present it with a brief review of literature.
