본 논문에서는 시점 계위성(view scalability)을 고려한 다시점 비디오 부호화 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 알고리즘은 시점 간 분해(inter-view decomposition)를 통하여 시점 간 중복성을 제거하여 부호화 효율을 높이고, 한 번의 압축된 비트스트림에서 서로 다른 시점을 갖는 영상을 적응적으로 복원할 수 있다. 기준 시점은 기존의 H.264/AVC와 호환가능하며, 시점 측면에서 필터링을 통해 시점 계위성을 제공하여 수신단에서 보유하고 있는 디스플레이 장치에 적응적으로 다시점 비디오 서비스를 가능케 한다. 실험결과 제안 기법은 H.264 개별부호화보다 나은 부호화효율과 시점 계위성을 제공할 수 있었다. In this paper, we propose a multi-view coding(MVC) algorithm with considering view scalability. The proposed algorithm has a high compression efficiency by reducing inter-view redundancy through inter-view decomposition, and adaptively reconstructs a multi-view video from an encoded bit stream. Furthermore, a reference view can be decoded by a traditional H.264/AVC, and the other views are adaptively decoded at the receiver by filtering to support view scalability. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm performed better than the conventional H.264 codec even though it offers the view scalability.

무선통신에서 전파환경을 보다 정확히 예측하는 것은 통신서비스 영역의 결정, 최적의 기지국선정 그리고 셀 설계 등을 위해 매우 중요하다. 따라서 안테나의 종류와 지향각 그리고 지형지물의 형태에 따라 변화하는 전파예측모델을 정확히 제시하므로써 통신망을 경제적으로 운용할 수 있음은 물론 통화품질과 가입자 서비스 또한 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 현대 교외지역 전파환경을 위한 최적 전파예측모델을 제안하기 위해 실험 대상지역으로 전남 나주시 세지 기지국을 선택, 전계강도를 실측하고, 이 결과를 토대로 전파예측모델을 제안한다. 제안모델은 지금까지 제안된 여타 예측 모델에서 고려되지 않았던 기지국과 이동국 안테나 유효높이의 상대차를 보정계수로 추가 활용하므로써 오차를 최소화 할 수 있었고, 제안모델과 Hata 모델, Egri 모델 그리고 Carey 모델의 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션(PPGIS)결과를 비교하므로써 그 적정성을 확인하였다. In mobile communications, it is very important that we predict the propagation environments of radiation pattern, in order to decide the service area, select the best location of the best station, design the cell etc. Therefore, by analyzing the propagation prediction model that is varied according to the kind of antenna, the beam angle, the terrain and obstacles, we expect that the economic operating of communication networks, the calling quality and the service of subscriber will be enhanced. In this paper, we select the around of Seji base station in Naju-city Chonnam for modern suburban area and measure the field strength to propose the optimal propagation prediction model for suburban areas. We propose the propagation prediction model that, it is not found in the other models until now, consists of the correction coefficient with the relative differences of antenna effective height of the base station and mobile station for minimizing errors. Finally, comparing the results of the field test with the computer simulation(PPGIS : Propagation Prediction Geographic Information System) results for the Hata model, the Egri model, the Carey model and the propose model, we confirm the property of the proposed model.
Molecular Cloning of a Suppressor Gene $su(s)^2$ of Drosophila by Transposon Tagging Technique

초파리의 v. pr, sp 그리고 sable 돌연변이주에서 그 기능을 회복시키는 억제유전자인 $su(s)^2$ 유전자를 gypsy-transposable element tagging 방법으로 cloning하였다. 우선 8-11 kb 크기의 DNA sequence를 $su(s)^2$, $pr^{bw}cn$ 초파리로부터 준비하여 pUC9 vector의 Hind III site에 삽입시켜 genomic library를 제조하였다. 재조합 plasmid를 $^{32}p$로 label시킨 gypsy probe를 사용하여 posi ti ve clone을 찾아내고 제한효소로 분석하여 다시 골라내었다. 이 중에서 $su(s)^2$ sequence를 가지는 clone은 최종적으로 Oregon-R $su(s)^2$; $pr^{bw}cn$, $pr^{bw}cn$ 초파리들의 거대염색체에 in situ hybridization시켜 확인하였다. pYDS 2라고 명명된 이 $su(s)^2$ clone의 restriction map을 작성한 결과 $su(s)^+$와는 달리 약 1.5 kb의 또다른 DNA sequence가 들어가 있음이 확인되었다. The presence of $su(s)^2$ sequence was confirmed by in situ hybridization of the biotinylated probe to the polytene chromosomes of $su(s)^2$; $pr^{bw}cn$, $pr^{bw}cn$ and Oregon-R strains. The restriction map of the $su(s)^2$ clone (named pYDS 2) was shown to be different from that of $su(s)^+$. The pYDS 2 contained another DNA sequence, 1.5 kb in length, besides the gypsy insertion.
소요산전탕액(逍遙散煎湯液)이 Stress부하(負荷) 생쥐의 면역억제(免疫抑制)에 미치는 영향(影響)

The more society has complicated, the more we have met stressful circumstance. And it is found that many physical and mental symptoms induced by stress. Soyosan(SYS) is one of the well-known oriental medicine for the treatment of general syndrome induced by emotional stress. This study was taken to know effects of SYS water extract on immune-depressed mice induced by stress. The results obtained in this study were as follows : 1. SYS inhibited murine weight-loss induced by stress 2. In vivo& in vitro, SYS increased phagocytic activity. 3. SYS enhanced the production of such reactive oxygen intermediates as superoxide and hydrogen peroxide from macrophages. 4. In vitro, SYS little influenced the production of reactive nitrogen intermediates. 5. SYS increased the number of the rosette forming cells of spleen. 6. SYS changed the ratio of helper and suppressor T cells by increasing $CD4^+$ T cells and decreasing $CD8^+$ T cells. 7. SYS increased cytotoxic activity on human lymphoma cell line(K562). 8. SYS increased the plasma level of GH and DHEA. whereas it decreased that of ACTH and cortisol. According to the above results, it might be considered that SYS would be used for immune-depressive disease induced by stress.

In this paper, we propose a novel system that uses stereo IR sensors and four IR LEDs within a pair of gloves to implement the behavior of multi-pointers in 30 space. The proposed system uses less computing resources than previous methods that uses the stereo vision technique that uses multiple cameras. Using the four points received from the four IR LEDs and the information from the stereo IR sensors, the system computes the 3D positions (distance and 2D position) then it synchronizes the positions on the screen. Hence, the system presents not only multiple pointer functions and mouse functions such as clicking but also gestures such as picking or releasing objects with the fingertips are implemented.

최근 해양자원의 중요성이 대두됨에 따라, 해양환경을 모니터링 하기 위해 Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks(UW-ASN)가 활발히 연구되고 있다. UW-ASN 는 해양환경에 대한 데이터를 Sensing, gathering 하고 이를 Monitoring Center 로 delivering 하는 Mission 을 수행한다. 이 논문에서는 해양에서 수집한 데이터를 수질 자동 측정망(TMS: Tele Monitoring System)에 전송하기 위해, 음파통신을 통해 수신된 해양 데이터를 수질 자동 측정망의 규격에 맞는 데이터로 변환시키고 CDMA 통신을 통해 가상의 TMS 에 전송하는 Gateway 구현을 제안한다.
