General components and detergency of commercial shampoos have been investigated and the results are summerized in the following. Shampoos were analyzed for surfactants and additives by KS method and surfactants were confirmed by T.L.C. Considerable differences in amounts of non volatiles and surfactants were found. Three of them contain either lanoline or sterols as additives and in the three, propylene glycol was found in their liquid part. It was shown that predominant sufactant was anionic and in all, except one, a little ampholytic surfactant was detected. But, contrary to forecast, in only one a little of nonionic surfactant was detected. Detergency of shampoos was examined using artificially soiled wool muslin. Considerable difference was found, and all shampoos showed higher detergency than a synthetic powder type detergent for textiles. There were no significant correlation between detergency and amount of surfactants or suspending power of detergents.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of practice method by type of providing stimulus and number of stimulus - response alternatives. Subjects for this study were K.A.F.A. 60 males students who had no pre-experiences in this task. They were divided into four groups per 15 males by random sampling. The number of each group was 15, in type of providing stimulus and number of stimulus - response alternatives. The experimental task was that the choice whole body reaction task by the visual signals and auditional signals, measured the choice whole body reaction time conducted by the whole body reaction time instrument. The collective data were analyzed by the Two-way ANOVA the results of the statical analysis are as the following ; 1. There was significant difference of the choice whole body reaction time following the practice method by type of providing stimulus. 2. There was significant difference of the choice whole body reaction time following the practice method by the number of stimulus - response alternatives. 3. There was significant difference of the interaction effect. The results of this study were that the whole body reaction time decreased by the number of alternatives practice method was a effective practice method.

The volatiles of whole and homogenated tomato fruits collected by the headspace trapping method using Tenax GC and the simultaneous steam distillation method were identified by GC and GC-MS. Among over 100 GC peaks, 10 alcohols, 6 aldehydes, 4 ketones, 3 esters, 1 phenol and 1 acid were identified from hole tomato fruits, whereas 12 alcohols, 6 aldehydes, 5 ketones, 5 esters, 2 phenols, 1 hydrocarbon and 1 acid were identified from homogenated tomato fruits. By simultaneous steam distillation-extraction, 19 alcohols, 13 hydrocarbons, 9 esters, 9 ketones, 8 aldehydes, 2 phenols, 2 lactones, 2 furans, 1 acids and 2 others were identified among over 300 peaks.
