We have investigated the database systems in several popular statistical packages. To handle more diverse types of data, many state-of-the-art data access technologies have been adopted to the new versions of statistical packages. One of the typical characteristics is that most systems provide direct and transparent access to data. We survey and compare those new functions. Also we propose our own system that allows seamless integration of data access capabilities with statistical packages. The system is modular and component based.

This study was undertaken to test for anti-Hepatitis B virus (HBV) activity of the aqueous extracts prepared from Eugenic caryophyllate, Ephedra sinica, Cinnamomum cassia. Aqueous extracts were assayed for the inhibition of HBV replication by measurement of HBV DNA and surface antigen (HBsAg) levels in the extracellular medium of HepG2 2.2.15 cells. All extracts decreased the levels of extracellular HBV virion DNA at concentrations ranging from 128 to 256 ㎍/㎖ and inhibited the production of HBsAg dose-dependently. Our findings suggest that these three hebal medicinal plants may have potential to develop as specific anti-HBV drugs in the future.

The effect of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) on the memory loss was investigated in two different animal models of dementia (active and passive avoidance models). In the active avoidance retention performance, DHA was administered to experimental animals for 24 days and ibotenic acid, a neurotoxin known to cause destruction of cholinergic nerve terminals, was injected into the nucleus basalis meynert on the 12th day. In the passive avoidance retention performance, DHA was administered to experimental animals for 24 days and either ibotenic acid or scopolamine was injected 24 hours (ibotenic acid) or 30 min (scopolamine) before the experiment. All animals were tested for the active and passive avoidance by the shuttle box and the reflex system, acetylcholinesterase (AChE) activity, AChE distribution by histochemical staining, amyloid protein and synaptophysin distribution by immunohistochemical staining and the degree of lipid peroxidation in the brain. DHA did not have any effect on the inhibition of the active and passive avoidance induced by ibotenic acid. On the other hand, scopolamine-induced inhibition of passive avoidance was partially reversed by DHA, indicating the implication of DHA in potentiation of cholinergic transmission. No differences were observed in AChE activity, AChE distribution, amyloid protein deposition synaptophysin distribution and the degree of lipid peroxidation between DHA-treated and vehicle (10% corn oil)-treated groups. These results demonstrated that administration of DHA for 24 days did not have any effect on the memory loss induced by ibotenic acid whereas scopolamine-induced memory loss was partially reversed by DHA. The precise role of cholinergic transmission potentiating effect of DHA in term of improving memory and/or learning ability remains to be elucidated.
협업 클라우드 환경에서 효율적인 침입 탐지 및 차단을 위한 Warning Control Center 제안에 관한 연구

세계가 주목하는 새로운 컴퓨팅 패러다임으로 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술이 주목받고 있다. 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 다양한 사용자의 특성 및 사용 목적에 따른 서비스를 제공한다. 최근에 서비스 되고 있는 협업 클라우드 시스템은 클라우드 간 오픈 API들을 통한 상호 운영성을 바탕으로 서비스가 제공되고 있다. 하지만 클라우드 시스템은 보안과 성능, 가용성 등 개선해야할 많은 부분이 많이 남아있고, 특히 협업된 환경에서는 하나의 클라우드에 대한 공격이 다른 클라우드에 영향을 미칠 수 있기 때문에 이러한 특징을 고려한 침입탐지 및 차단을 위한 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문은 하이퍼바이저와 유기적으로 통신하는 Hypervisor Intrusion Detection Agent(HIDA)를 이용하여 위협을 탐지, 분석하고 Warning Control Center(WCC)이용하여 협업된 클라우드 시스템에 위험을 공유함으로써 기존 시스템에 비해 보다 개선된 보안성 및 가용성을 제공하는 방법을 제안하였다.
코로나 시대 환대산업 서비스의 언택트 마케팅에 관한 고찰

코로나 19에 환대산업의 언택트 마케팅과 서비스의 발전 방안과 관련하여 환대산업 서비스 분야의 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 언택트 기술을 활용한 비대면 서비스를 위한 키오스크 도입, 사전예약, 결재시스템과 가능한 셀프서비스와 룸서비스를 활용한 서비스 개선에 대한 필요한 시기이다. 또한 언택트 마케팅 판매 채널 강화를 통한 다채널 시스템 구축을 통한 인스타그램, 페이스북, 유튜브, 블로그, 1인 온라인 방송과 라이브 커머스를 온라인 통한 판매채널 다각화로 언택트 마케팅에 대한 문제를 해결하기 위한 상품구성이 현재 주목을 받고 있는 지금 환대산업에서도 실시하는 것이 필요하다. 소비자 간의 교류창구를 통한 상품 구매에 관한 전자상거래가 정보, 문화, 트렌드를 공유하는 플랫폼이 대중화됨에 따라 소비자의 소비패턴은 더욱 다양해질 것이며, 서비스 교육의 중요성이 중요한 시점에 마스크 착용의무화와 기본 관리인 비대면 서비스 상담, 발열 체크부터 시설물 내부에 소독기 설치, 인적사상 기록과 전사적인 교육 시스템으로 언택트 마케팅과 융합된 새로운 서비스 제도와 도입과 정책 수립이 필요하다고 판단된다. 이러한 결과는 언택트 시대에 서비스 교육의 중요한 요소 인식과 언택트 마케팅의 차별화된 시스템 구축과 언택트 판매 채널 확대, 비대면 상담 서비스 실시, 사전예약과 재택근무 도입이 절실한 부분으로 인식 되었다. 특히 무료로 인식됐던 인적서비스가 프리미엄 하면서 서비스 차별화와 중요성이 재인식되었으며, 언택트 시대 환대산업의 질적인 서비스 측면과 마케팅 채널 다변화를 제시에 대한 나아가야 할 발전방안을 제시한다. In-depth interview in the field of hospitality industry services was conducted in COVID- 19. Introduction of kiosks for non-face-to-face services using untact technology, reservation, pay systems, self-service, service improvement using room service should be carried out. It is also necessary to implement Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, P-blogs, online broadcasting and live commerce through the establishment of m-channel system through untact marketing sales channels in the hospitality industry now that the product composition to solve the pro -blem of untact marketing is drawing attention due to diversification of online sales channe -ls. Now, the recognition of important elements of service education and a establishment of differentiated system of untact marketing, expansion of untact sale channel, implementation of non-face-to-face counseling service and introduction of pre-booking, telecommuting were recognized as urgent parts. In particular, a service differentiation and importance of human services, which were recognized free of charge, have re-recognized as premium, and quality service aspect of the hospitality industry in untact and the direction to diversify marketing channels are presented.

N/A Objective: For curative surgical treatment of esophageal cancer the resectability from the tracheobrochial tree would be the most important factor. Although CT scan has been used for the determination of the resectability of esophageal cancer, it has a limitation on the detection of esophageal cancer invasion to tracheobronchial tree We have performed flexible bronchoscopy in the patients with esophageal cancer to detect and classify the tracheobronchial tree alterations and to find the relation of bronchoscopic findings with the resectability. Method: From April 1990 to October 1992, 133 patients with esophageal cancer had received bronchoscopy. Bronchoscopic findings were classified into three groups: [Group I: normal, Group II: indirect effects (hyperemia and compression-mild, moderate, severe), group III: invasion). CT findings were a]so classified into three classes: [Class A: tumor separated from tracheobronehial tree, Class B: abutting tree, Class C: compressing tree]. We investigated the resectability of esophageal cancer according to bronchoscopic and CT findings. Results: 1) Among 133 patients, the bronchscopic findings were Group I in 41(30.8%), Group II in 66(49.6%), and Group III in 26(19.6%) patients. 2) Abnormal bronchoscopic findings were mainly found in trachea and left main bronchus and frequently found in upper and middle esophageal cancer patients, 3) The resection rate from tracheobronchial tree was 96.8% in group I and 75% in group II bronchoscopic finding. 4) The resections from tracheobronchial tree could be performed in 94.6% of Class A, in 70% of Class B and in 53.8% of Class C of CT scan patients. 5) Six of twelve unresectable patients belonged to Class C of CT scan finding If we excluded Class C in Group II patients, resectability would be increased to 87.5%. Conclusion: We could recommend the operation in esophgeal cancer patients with Group I and minimal Group II bronchoscopic finding. In advanced Group II and/or Class C of CT scan patients, neoadjuvant treatment and reevaluation could be recommended.

In this paper, we introduce the software and hardware of the measuring system for performances of traction and braking in KTX(Korea Train eXpress). The measuring system focuses on the verification of the performance and acquisition of test data. The software controls the hardware of the measuring system, performs the analysis and calculation of measurement data and acts as interface between users and the hardware. For this purpose, three programs, such as a measuring program, a back-up program and a post-processing program, have developed.
