Micro pattern is applied to the light guiding plate(LGP) to enhance the uniformity of the brightness of the LCD. The micro cones are molded in intaglio on the surface of the LGP. The surface roughness of each cone was 40nm and 38nm in negative and positive die for laser ablation. In chemical etching, the surface roughness was 25nm, 24nm in negative and positive. And the surface roughness of negative and positive dies were 4nm and 5nm for LIGA-reflow process.

The transducer for multi-directionally movable ultrasonic motor having lambda shaped vibrators has been proposed and designed. The two branches cross at a right angle with each other at the tip. FEM analyses of lambda shaped transducer were carried out to find vibration modes for ultrasonic motor. The lambda shaped transducer has one symmetric mode and two anti-symmetric modes. The symmetric mode generates the normal direction motion of the tip. The lateral and vertical direction motion of the tip are excited by two anti-symmetric modes. The normal and lateral direction motions made an lateral elliptic trajectory. And the normal and vertical direction motions made an vertical elliptic trajectory normal to previous one. The transducer with 1 mm in thickness and 25 mm in length has been fabricated and evaluated. The resonance frequencies of the transducer was 32 kHz and 103 kHz. The tangential and vertical vibration displacement of the transducer having the lateral elliptic trajectory were $1.5{\mu}m\;and\;1.1{\mu}m$, respectively at the driving voltage of 100 Vpp and frequency of 32 kHz and 103 kHz. And the tangential and vertical vibration displacement of the transducer having the vertical elliptic trajectory were $0.4{\mu}m\;and\;0.2{\mu}m$, respectively at the same driving condition.

Recently, many researches have been done to improve optical performance of LCD-BLU(Back Light Unit). One of the most important parts in LCD-BLU is LGP(Light Guiding Plate). Micro-patterned LGP is known to have different optical characteristics depending on their shape, pattern density and size, etc. In the present study, a micro-optical patterned LGP mold was fabricated using LiGA process. The difference in the optical characteristics between positive and negative patterned LGP's was investigated by fixing the density, location and size of each pattern. It was found that the negative patterned LGP showed better optical characteristics than positive one.

Purpose: To assess the role of OR in treatment of AAA patients, we reviewed the indications and our current results of OR of AAA. Methods: We retrospectively investigated the database of 366 patients (mean age, 68.3±8.7 years, male 86%) who underwent open surgical (n=291, 80%) or endovascular treatments (n=75, 20%) of AAA in a tertiary referral center between Sep. 2003 to Aug. 2010. Treatment-related morbidities and mortality rates within 30 days were investigated according to the indications for treatment, clinical features, anatomic location, and underlying causes of AAA. Results: According to the location of AAA, we treated 343 (94%) infrarenal, 17 (5%) juxtarenal and 6 (2%) suprarenal AAAs. Underlying causes of AAA were degenerative (90%), infected (3%), inflammatory (3%), Marfan’s syndrome (2%), and vasculitis (0.5%). Clinically, 338 (92%) were non-ruptured and 28 (8%) were ruptured AAAs. 75% of patients were treated with OR after the inception of reimbursement of aortic device while 25% of patients were treated with EVARs. The operative mortality rates of OR was 0.4% in patients with non-ruptured infrarenal AAA, 0% in patients with non-ruptured juxta- and suprarenal AAA and 21.4% in ruptured AAA patients. Conclusion: In an era of endovascular treatment of AAA, we have experienced excellent surgical results after OR in patients with non-ruptured AAA with various clinical features. Though EVAR is rapidly replacing OR in treatment of infrarenal AAAs, OR has its own role in treatment of AAA patients with unfavorable conditions for EVAR. The role of OR should not be underestimated.
단순 유방촬영술상 동반되는 종괴 없이 보이는 군집성 미세석회화 : 양성과 악성의 예측

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the accuracy of differentiation between benign andmalignant clustered microcalcifications without mass on mammogram. Material and Methodes : Fourty six mammogramsof 44 patients showing clustered microcalcifications without mass were interpreted blindly by five independentobservers majoring in breast imaging from different institutions. Twenty two were malignant (10 infiltratingductal carcinomas, 12 intraductal carcinomas) and 24 were benign (all fibrocystic disease). The observers judgebenignancy or malignancy of microcalcifications. The authors assess the accuracy of differential diagnosis ofclustered microcalcifications. Result : Of 24 cases proved benign microcalcifications, five radiologists correctlyinterpreted 20 on average as benign and of malignant 22 cases, 16 on average were correctly interpreted asmalignant. The diagnostic accuracy of malignant microcalcifications was 71.8% on average(63.6%~81.8%) and thediagnostic accuracy for benign microcalcifications was 83% on average(71%~ 92%). It was 9 among total 46 casesthat were misinterpreted by more than three radiologists. Among these 9 cases, malignant microcalcifications thathad been misinterpreted as benign were seven, benign microcalcifications misinterpreted as malignant were two.Conclusion : The diagnostic accuracy of clustered malignant microcalcifications(71.8%) without mass on mammogramwas lower than that of benign microcalcifications(83.3%). So, in case of suspected malignant microcalcification onmammogram, it is preferable that along with magnification view, histopathologic confirmation by core biopsy mustbe obtained.

통신은 주로 통신의 시작, 데이터 전송, 오류 검사, 통신의 종료 4 가지 과정을 거쳐 이루어진다. 위 4 가지 과정에 따라 통신 모듈의 상태(state)를 분류하고 상태도(state diagram)를 그릴 수 있다. HDL 언어를 사용하여 상태도를 유한 상태 기계(finite-state machine)로 구현함으로써 통신 모듈을 쉽게 구현할 수 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 방법으로 FPGA 에 통신 모듈을 구현하는 방법을 다루고 있다. 나아가, 이 방법을 이용하여 UART 와 SPI 통신 모듈을 구현하는 실험을 소개한다.

현대사회에서 중요하게 사용되는 GPS 정보를 활용하는데 있어, 고성능 GPS 수신기를 사용하는 데 있어 비용적인 문제가 발생한다. 경제성을 개선하여 더 다양한 분야에서 GPS 정보를 활용하기 위해 딥러닝을 통해 정밀한 GPS 정보를 얻고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 다수의 저성능 GPS 를 학습시켜 딥러닝 모델을 구현하고 성능을 평가한다. 제안한 모델을 사용할 경우, 저성능 GPS 만으로도 고성능 GPS 와 오차미터가 1m 까지 줄어드는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.

본 논문은 다수의 저정밀 GPS(Global Positioning System) 센서를 활용하여, 보다 정밀하고 정확한 GPS 좌표 보정 모델을 설계하고자 한다. 제안 모델에서는 다수의 저정밀 센서에서 GPS 좌표를 수합한 뒤, 최소자승법과 선형칼만필터로 값을 보정한다. 본 논문에서는 Horizontal Accuracy 가 2m 인 저정밀 GPS 센서를 활용하여 제안 모델을 설계하였으며, 저정밀 센서와 제안 모델 비교 실험에서 제안 모델의 46% 정밀도 향상을 확인하였다.

본 논문에서는 차량 ECU(Electronic Control Unit)에서 제한된 메모리 공간의 효율적인 사용과 추가적인 프로세싱 시간(메모리 할당과 해제)을 감소시키는 방안을 제안한다. 메모리 할당을 하고 사용이 된 이후 바로 해제하는 기존의 방식 대신, 버퍼에 넣어두고 이후에 메모리 할당하는 상황이 생기면 버퍼에 넣어둔 할당된 공간을 재사용하는 방법을 사용하여 네트워크 전환 과정에서의 데이터 처리시간 차이를 비교 및 분석하고자 한다.
