        중등학생들의 자연에 대한 인식론적 관점과 존재론적 관점

        이 연구는 중등학생들이 가지고 있는 자연에 대한 관점 중 인식론적 관점과 존재론적 관점과 그러한 관점의 원인을 알아보고자 하였다. 156명의 중등학생들이 참여했고, 자료는 설문지를 통해 수집되었다. 이 설문지는 선행연구에 기초하여 연구자들에 의해 개발되었다. 연구 결과, 중등학생들의 자연에 대한 관점 중에는 자연은 알 수 없다는 인식론적 관점이 가장 많았다. 이러한 관점의 근원은 자연의 규칙성과 조화, 예측 가능한 자연 현상, 자연 현상의 순환 과정이나 인과 관계, 자연과 인간과의 관계 등으로 매우 다양하였다. 중등학생들의 존재론적 관점에는 초자연적인 관점이 가장 많았다. 존재론적 관점들 중에서 학생들의 초자연적 관점은 그들의 신학적 측면의 영향이 광범위하게 나타났다. 과학이 다루는 세상이면서 동시에 과학의 대상물이 존재하는 물질세계인 자연에 대한 인식론적 관점과 존재론적 관점은 학습자가 과학 학습을 어떻게 이해하는지에 대한 바탕을 제공하는 중요한 자료가 된다. 앞으로 학생들이 가지고 있는 자연에 대한 인식론적 관점과 존재론적 관점과 그들의 과학 학습 과정 사이의 관련성의 연구가 필요하다. This study searched secondary school students' epistemological views and ontological views about nature and the root causes of such their views. The subjects were 156 secondary school students and data were gathered by the questionnaire developed based on preceding researches. As a result, many secondary school students had epistemological views of unknowable nature. There were various root causes of their epistemological views such as regularity and harmony of nature, predictable and circular natural phenomenon, causation, the relation between human and nature. On the other hand, a lot of secondary school students had ontological view of supernatural nature. Their religious beliefs were very powerful influence their supernatural ontological views. The nature is the object of science and the physical world. Because those views supply science educators basic backgrounds how leaners understand science class, secondary school students' epistemological views and ontological views are precious information. From now on, it is necessary to study relations between students' epistemological views and ontological views and their science class processes.

        초등학생들의 자연에 대한 관점

        이 연구는 초등학생들이 가지고 있는 자연에 대한 관점을 알아보고자 수행되었다. 초등학교 5, 6학년 18명의 학생이 연구에 참여하였고, 일련의 정교화된 도구들을 이용한 반구조화된 면담을 통해 학생들의 자연에 대한 관점을 도출하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들의 자연에 대한 관점은 공통적인 특징을 보이기도 하지만, 각기 다른 관점을 가지고 있었다. 또한 종교, 심미적인 측면, 과학, 사회 등 여러 가지 요인이 자연에 대한 관점 형성에 관련되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 과학교육과정을 구성할 때, 과학교육자들이 학생들의 자연에 대한 다양한 관점을 이해하는 것이 필요하다고 본다. 또한 과학교육과정과 다른 교과의 교육과정과의 관계도 고려될 필요가 있다. In this study, elementary school students' views about nature were searched. The participants were 18 students of fifth grade and sixth grade. Data were collected via semi-structured interviews involving a set of elicitation devices used to encourage students to talk about their views about nature. The results showed as follows; (1) Elementary school students had diverse views. and common views about nature. (2) Their views about nature were affected by various factors, such as religion, aesthetical aspect, science, society, and so on. So when science educators construct science curriculum, they must consider these factors. (3) It is necessary to be concerned about the relations between science curriculum and others.

      • 상부소환관협착에 대한 Savary-Gilliard Dilatation의 치료효과와 안전성에 관한 관찰

        For the patient with stenosis of upper digestive tract caused by either benign or malignant process, esophageal dilatation is an important therapeutic modality. We reviewed retrospectively 39 cases treated by Savary-Gilliard dilatation for upper digestive tract stenosis, and results were follows : (1) Dysphagia was improved in 95% of the patients. (2) Eight patients(20%) sufferd perforation, five of them were managed with conservative medical measures, others were managed operatively. (3) In the cases with benign stenosis dysphagia was not noticed for 8.8 months, but with malignant stenosis dysphagia was reappeared after 2.8 months despite concomitant chemoradiotherapy. In conclusion, Savary-Gilliard dilatation was an effective measure for symptome due to upper digestive tract stenosis, but more careful attention for perforation should be necessitated. Also another therapeutic modality for treatment of malignant stenosis was inevitable.

        The Actinomyces species are normal flora of oral cavity and upper intestine characterized as gram-positive, non-spore-forming anaerobic or mjcroaerophilic rods. Actinomycosis is a chronic suppurative and granulomatous disease characterized by abscess, sinus, abundant granulation and mass. The appendix is the commonly involved site among abdominal actinomycosis. Abdominal actinomycosis is often difficult to diagnose before operation because of no reliable clinical features and infrequency of the disease. We report two cases of abdominal actinomycosis which were manifested as acute appendicitis. Those were detected Incidentally tv the pathologist after routine appendectomy. Both patients were successfully treated with appendectomy followed by proper antibiotics use.

        Slide-Swing Plastyf를 利用한 皮膚缺損의 臨床治驗

        Slide-Swing Plasty often offers a favorable means of closing a skin defect. It is a combination of transposition and skin sliding in which the flap employed to close the defect and the defect itself are cut to a round shape. We have covered on 8 cases of secondary round and oblong skin defects resulting from primary excision of the skin lesions by the using fo Slide-Swing Plasty. We describe the experience of Slide-Swing Plasty with a review of literatures.

        과학영재교육에 대한 초ㆍ중등 교사의 인식 조사

        과학 영재의 개념 정의와 과학 영재를 판별하는 방법에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어져왔고,2003년부터 공교육 제도 내에서 과학영재교육이 강화되고 있다. 그러나 과학영재의 정의와 영재교육 의 목적에 기초한 영재 판별 방법에 대한 연구는 드문 편이다. 또한 교사의 역할이 과학영재교육에서 중요한데도 불구하고,과학영재교육에 참여하고 있는 교사들의 인식에 대한 연구는 거의 없는 편이다. 이 연구는 과학영재교육 체제,교육에 참가하는 학생 교육 프로그램 등을 포함하는 과학영재교육에 대한 교사들의 인식을 알아보고자 한다. 전국에서 표집된 55명(여16,남39)의 과학교사들이 이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구 결과는 과학영재들을 열정적으로 가르치고 있고,공교육 제도 내에서 과학영재교육이 필요하다고 인식하였다. 교사들은 과학영재들이 기초탐구능력과 문제해결력은 우수하지만,창의성은 부족하다고 인식하였다. 또한 사용하고 있는 교육 프로그램은 문제해결력 신장에는 적절하지만,창의성 계발에는 부적절하다고 평가하였다. 교사들은 무엇보다도 개인차를 고려한 다양한 교육 프로그램과 행정적· 재정적 지원이 필요하다고 지적하였다. Although the role of teachers is important in education for scientifically gifted students, it is few research related to ideas of teachers who joining in education program for scientifically gifted students. This study aims to understand teachers' ideas about education for scientifically gifted students about gifted education in general, gifted sutdents in programs, and gifted education programs. Fifty five science teachers(16 female, 39 male) who were selected in nationwide participated in this study. Results of this research indicated that teachers educated scientifically gifted students enthusiastically and they thought necessity of education for scientifically gifted students in public education system. Teachers thought that scientifically gifted students were excellent in basic inquiry ability and problem solving ability, but they were lack in creative ability. Also, teachers evaluated that education program was suitable for developing problem solving ability, but it was inadequate for developing creative ability. Teachers recommended necessity of developing diverse education program considered difference among individuals and administrative and financial support above all.

      • 급성 및 만성 간질환에서 C형 간염바이러스 항체(anti-HCV)양성률

        The prevalence of antibody against hepatitis C virus (anti-HCV) was investigated in 331 patients with various liver diseases from April 1992 to September 1992. The presence of anti-HCV was detected by Lucky HCD EIA test in 331 cases and by (Ortho HCV Antibody ELISA test 148 patients) The results are summarized as follows: 1. Overall, antibody to HCV(anti-HCV) was positive in 37(11%) of 331 patients with various liver diseases. 2. 16(11%) of 144 patients with chronic hepatitis, 2(5%) of 37 patients with alcoholic liver disease, 17(22%) of 76 patients with liver cirrhosis and 2(5%) of 38 HBsAg carriers were positive for anti-HCV.None of 12 patients with acute hepatitis, 11 patients with drug induced hepatitis and 13 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma was anti-HCV positive. 3. HBsAg positivity in patients who had anti-HCV was 24%(9/37). 4. A positive correlation was found between Lucky HCD and Ortho HCV test. Of 128 Lucky HCD negative cases, 124 cases were negative for Ortho HCV ELISA and 4 cases were positive for Ortho HCV ELISA Of 20 Lucky HCD positive cases, 11 cases were positive for Ortho HCV ELISA and 9 cases were negative for Ortho HCV ELISA. These results suggest that hepatitis C virus has an important etiologic role in HBsAg negative chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis in Korea. The diagnostic value of Lucky HCD EIA test may be slightly better or equivalent to Ortho HCV ELISA test in the diagnosis of Hepatitis C virus infection.

      • 내시경으로 진단된 소화성 궤양의 임상적 고찰

        A clinical analysis was performed of 3055 pateints with peptic ulcer who were diagnosed with gastroduodenoscopy, in Hospital of Chungnam National University College of Medicine from July 1988 to May 1993. 1) During the period 1988-1993, The proportion of gastric ulcer among peptic ulcer decreased from 47.8% to 42.8%, but that of duodenal ulcer increased from 36.8% to 39.6%. 2) Of the 3055 cases, the number of patients with esophageal ulcer was 98(3.2%), with gastric ulcer 1407(41.6%), with. duodenal ulcer 1104(36.1%), with channel ulcer 149(4.9%), and with combind ulcer 297(9.7%). 3) We observed a peak incidence of peptic ulcer in the 50-69age group, gastric ulcer in the 5069age, duodenal ulcer in the 40-59age group. The ratio of male to female was 3.6 : 1 in peptic ulcer, 4.4 : 1 in gastric ulcer, 3.0 : 1 in duodenal ulcer. 4) The common site was angle in gastric ulcer, and bulb in duodenal ulcer. 5) The active stage was 39.4% of gastric ulcer, and 37.4% of duodenal ulcer, the healing stage was 34.2% of gastric ulcer, and 17.9% of duodenal ulcer, and the scar stage of gastric ulcer was 26.4%, and duodenal ulcer was 44.7%. 6) The size of ulcer was less than 1Cm in 66.7% of gastric ulcer, and in 75.5% of duodenal ulcer, the size of ulcer was greater than 2Cm in 13.2% of gastric ulcer, and in 6.5% of duodenal ulcer. 7) The frequency of multiple ulcer was 29.9% in gastric ulcer, and 16.5% in duodenal ulcer.
