To offer a reperence date for scientified vineyard management plan, I inuestigated yields according to increase in tree-age at seuera vineyard in young period. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Both varieties of campbell Early and Muscat Bailey A began to yield berries from the 2nd year after planting, but Delaware from the 3rd year. 2. The economic age of each variety was 3years after planting in both varieties of campbell Early and Muscat Bailey A, but 4 years in Delaware. 3. It was suggested that the fruiting period of each variety began from the 5~6 th year after plantning in Campbell Early, but from the 7th year in Delawara.

The prevalence of PPNG among pretreated gonorrhea cases isolated at the STD clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul has been studied and reported annually since 1981. In 1991, 123 strains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 58(47.1%) were PPNG. In 1992, 98 starains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 51(52.0%) were PPNG. In all, 109(49.3%) strains were found to be PPNG among 221 strains isolated between 1991-1992. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul showed increased tendency till 1989, thereafter, it has been stationary or slightly decreasing.

Background: This study was purposed to study the therapeutic value of intraluminal oxygen insufflation on the oxygenation of gut mucosa in a feline model subjected to a hemorrhagic shock followed by reperfusion. Methods: Eighteen cats were divided into three groups: For group 1, 6 cats were subjected to sham operation as a control group; for group 2, 6 cats were subjected to a hemorrhagic shock for 2 hours prior to reperfusion as a hemorrhagic shock(HS) group; for group 3, 6 cats were subjected to a simultaneous insufflation of intraluminal oxygen, continued during the shock and reperfusion periods as a oxygenated hemorrhagic shock(OHS) group. Mesenteric PvO₂, mesenteric venous arterial(v-a) lactate difference, mesenteric P(v-a)CO₂ and mesenteric pH(a-v) were measured for every 30 minutes during the shock and reperfusion. Results: The lactate(v-a) was increased during the shock. For group OHS, the lactate(v-a) returned to the baseline value after reperfusion, but for group HS, it did not return. The values pH(v-a) and P(v-a)CO. were increased during the shock and returned to the baseline value for group OHS, but for group HS, the increase was greater than group OHS(p$lt;0.05), but not returned to the baseline value after reperfusion. For both pH(v-a) and P(v-a)CO₂, there were statistically significant differences(p$lt;0.05) between group HS and group OHS during the shock and reperfusion. Conclusions: We conclude that the insufflation of intraluminal oxygen improves the oxygenation of gut mucosa in the feline model undergone a hemorrhagic shock followed by reperfusion.

<P>A cDNA encoding a class III chitinase (Oschib1) was isolated from a cDNA library constructed from rice leaves infected with the blast fungus Magnaporthe grisea. The cDNA contains an open reading frame of 861 nucleotides encoding 286 amino acid residues with a pI of 5.06. The deduced amino acid sequence of Oschibl has a high level of similarity with class IIIb chitinases of Gladiolus gandavensis (46%) and Tulipa bakeri (49%). A high level of Oschibl mRNA was detected after inoculation with M. grisea or Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae. Expression of Oschib1 was induced more rapidly when an avirulent strain of M. grisea was inoculated (incompatible interaction) than when a virulent strain was used (compatible interaction). Expression of Oschibl was also induced by treatment of signaling molecules such as salicylic acid, ethylene, and methyl jasmonic acid, and by treatment with H2O2 or CuSO4. The induction patterns of Oschibl expression suggest that Oschib1 may be involved in defense response against pathogen infections and may be classified as a member of pathogenesis-related protein 8 in rice.</P>
S-289 Ergonovine induced ventricular fibrillation in a patient with Brugada syndrome

Introduction:?The Brugada syndrome and vasospastic angina are one of the etiology of sudden cardiac death and the two disease entities can coincide. This report describes a case of ventricular fibrillation (VF) induced by intracoronary ergonovine injection in a patient with Brugada syndrome. Methods:?N/A Results:?A 32-year-old male patient was brought to the Emergency Department because of aborted sudden cardiac collapse and his initial rhythm showed VF. VF was restored to sinus rhythm after defibrillation and the patient was successfully resuscitated without neurologic sequelae. Past history was denial and the patient has no history of chest discomfort, palpitation or syncope before admission. There was no familial history of ischemic heart disease, arrhythmia, or sudden death. Cardiac enzyme including Troponin I and CK-MB was not elevated. Electrocardiogram (ECG) revealed sinus rhythm without ST elevation or J wave after stabilization. Echocardiography revealed no structural heart disease with normal left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF: 63 %). The patient underwent coronary angiography with provocation test to rule out coronary artery disease or vasospastic angina as the cause of sudden cardiac arrest. Coronary angiography revealed no significant stenosis at major epicardial coronary artery. After injection of 40 μg of ergonovine at right coronary artery, ECG showed dynamic ST segment change in right precordial leads with QRS widening and then VF was initiated. The patient was successfully resuscitated after cardiopulmonary resuscitation with a number of shocks from an external defibrillator. Flecainide challenging test was performed which revealed Brugada type I ECG and he was diagnosed as Brugada syndrome. He was decided to implant implantable cardioverter defibrillator.?Conclusions:?Brugada syndrome and vasospastic angina can coincide and ischemia might act additively with the substrate responsible for the Brugada syndrome to elevate the ST segment and precipitate VF. DVB-H 수신기가 내장된 GSM 900 방식의 휴대전화 단말은 두 개의 통신 시스템이 공존하고 있어 GSM 신호의 간섭으로 인해 DVB 방송 신호의 수신 성능이 저하되는 현상이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 GSM과 DVB-H 복합단말에서 DVB-H 수신기로 간섭을 일으키는 GSM 신호를 제거하기 위해 DSP 기법을 이용한 디지털 필터를 적용하여 DVB-H 수신기의 성능을 높일 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. DVB-H 수신기의 복조단에서 GSM 변조 신호와 OFDM 신호의 특성이 서로 다른 점을 이용한 잡음 제거 필터링 알고리즘으로 DVB 신호와 함께 유입된 GSM 신호의 간섭 성분을 제거함으로써 DVB 수신 성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. The phenomenon degrading reception performance of DVB broadcasting signal is caused by collocation of plural communication modules in the GSM-900 cellular phone with a built-in DVB-H receiver. This paper offers how to improve performance of the DVB-H receiver by applying digital filter that is using DSP techniques to cancel GSM signal interfering to the DVB-H receiver which is collocated in a single user’s GSM terminal. In the demodulation part of the DVB-H receiver, the DVB reception performance can be greatly improved by removing interference components of GSM signal, which is flowed with DVB signal, to the noise cancellation filtering algorithm using difference of characteristics between GSM modulated signal and OFDM signal.
