영유아교사의 성격강점과 생애목표가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 = The Effect of Character Strengths, Life Goals on Subjective Satisfaction for Early Childhood Teachers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to research how character strength and lifes goal of early children teachers affect life satisfaction. The subjects of this study were 197 teachers at child-care center and kindergartens located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. To analyze the data, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis for investigating the effect of Character Strengths, Life Goals on Subjective Satisfaction and mediating effect of life goals were conducted.: The results from this study were as follows. First, There was a positive correlation between life satisfaction, growth goal and justice but negative correlation between life satisfaction and transcendence, material goal and relationship goal. In the relationship of character strength and life goals, life oriented goal showed positive correlation with courage. Second, courage, justice, wisdom and knowledge had negative effect. Third, relationship goal and material goal affect negatively on satisfaction, but growth goal affect positively on satisfaction. Fourth, the justice character strength had the strongest positive correlation with life satisfaction, while transcendence, material goal had negative effect. So, the result of this study provides implication on development of teacher education and consultation program using character strength and life goal setting for improving life satisfaction of early childhood educators.
