유아의 창의적 리더십 및 자아개념에 미치는 리더십 프로그램의 효과 = Influences of Leadership Program on the Creative Leadership and Self-concept of Young Children

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a leadership program applied to 5-year-old children on creative leaderships and self-concepts of young children. It was intended to provide an effective program to improve creative leadership and self-concept of children. To examine the research problems, the 40 participants were selected from 2 child care centers in Y Gu, Seoul, and then set the experimental and control group consisted of 20 5-year-children for each group. After verifying the homogeneity of the experimental and control group by implementing creative leadership and self-concept test for children as a pre-test, the experimental group adopts a leadership program which consists of 16 classes while the control group adopts the standard child care program only. After experimentation, a post test was implemented on the two groups; the differences of averages of creative leadership and self-concept were analyzed by t-test, and the relation between creative leadership and self-concepts of children was investigated by evaluating Pearson correlation coefficient. In conclusion, this study confirmed that the leadership program for children was effective to improve creative leadership and self-concept of young children. Therefore, it implies that it is necessary to apply creative leadership programs to a child care program in view of improving positive self-concept and leadership of young children in their childhood as an absolutely important period of improving self-concept.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 리더십 프로그램이 만 5세 유아의 창의적 리더십(개인적 리더십, 사회적 리더십, 문제해결적 리더십)과 자아개념(비학문적 자아, 학문적 자아) 향상에 미치는 효과를 검정하는데 목표를 두고 실시되었다. 따라서 서울 Y구 소재 어린이집 2곳에서 만 5세 유아 각 20명씩을 선정하여 각각 실험집단과 통제집단으로 하였다. 실험집단에는 16차시로 구성된 유아용 리더십 프로그램을 적용하였고, 통제집단에는 유아 정규 표준보육과정에 따라 구성된 프로그램을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 본 연구에서 개발된 유아 리더십 프로그램은 유아의 창의적 리더십과 자아개념 향상에 도움을 준다는 것이 확인되었으므로, 향후 유아들의 창의적 리더십과 자아개념 지도를 위해 본 연구에서 개발된 것과 같은 프로그램을 적용할 수 있음에 대해 시사할 수 있다.
