대학생의 모 애착이 사회불안에 미치는 영향: 역기능적인 상위인지의 매개효과 = The Influence of Maternal Attachment on Social Anxiety among College Students: The Mediating Effect of Dysfunctional Metacognition

The present study was conducted to test the mediation effect of dysfunctional metacognition in the relationship between maternal attachment and social anxiety. The participants were 300 students enrolled in universities across the country. The research findings are as follows. First, there were significant correlations among maternal attachment, dysfunctional metacognition, social anxiety. Maternal attachment had negative correlations with dysfunctional metacognition and social anxiety. Dysfunctional metacognition had a positive correlation with social anxiety. Secondly, dysfunctional metacognition had a significant partial mediating effect between maternal attachment and social anxiety. Thirdly, maternal attachment had a statistically significant indirect effect on social anxiety through dysfunctional metacognition. In addition, the limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 대학생의 모와의 애착 수준이 사회불안에 미치는 영향을 역기능적인 상위인지가 매개하는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 전국의 대학생 300명을 대상으로 부모 애착 척도(IPPA-R), 상위인지 질문지(MCQ-30), 상호작용 불안 척도(IAS)를 사용하여 온라인설문을 실시하였다. 수집된 자료를 바탕으로 모 애착과 역기능적인 상위인지, 사회불안간의 관련성을 살펴보기 위해 Pearson 상관분석을 실시하였다. 구조적 관계를 밝히기 위해 역기능적인 상위인지가 부분매개하는 연구모형과 완전매개하는 경쟁모형을 가설적으로 도출하여 측정모형 검증 후 구조모형 검증을 실시하였다. 마지막으로 간접효과의 유의성을 검증하기 위해 Bootstrapping을 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 모 애착, 역기능적인 상위인지, 사회불안은 모두 통계적으로 유의한 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 구조모형 검증 결과에서 모 애착과 사회불안의 관계에서 역기능적인 상위인지가 매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, Bootstrapping을 통한 간접효과의 검증 결과에서 모 애착이 역기능적인 상위인지를 거쳐 사회불안으로 가는 매개효과가 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 시사점, 연구의 한계를 제시하였고, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 기술하였다.
