불안정애착 성인여성의 안정애착 형성을 위한애착앨범과 반응미술을 활용한 미술치료 사례연구 = A case study: art therapy utilizing attachment album and reaction art to help an adult woman with unsteady attachment to form steady attachment

This study investigated the effects of art therapy utilizing attachment album and reaction art on the formation of steady attachment in an adult female with unsteady attachment. The female study participant was 35 years old and gained adult attachment scores of 2.89 on avoidance and 2.50 on anxiety, an indication of unsteady attachment. She received a total of 22 art therapy sessions, each session about two hours long, once a week, for 6 months. Art therapy was given based on attachment album using fabric and reaction art. A pretest and posttest were administered before and after the therapy program to measure the effects of the program using the ECR and BND. The pretest and posttest scores were compared. In addition, the art pieces, writings, and attachment elements were analyzed to detect any change in the participant as the therapy program progressed.
First, the ECR results showed that the posttest scores as compared with the pretest scores decreased to 2.22 on avoidance and to 1.89 on anxiety, an indication of positive influence on the attachment formation. The attachment type, which changed from unsteady to steady indicated a positive attitude towards the self and others. The BND results showed that on the pretest only eggs were seen in the nest, but father and mother bird were seen feeding their youngs in the nest on the posttest, an indication of positive influence on the formation of steady attachment.
Second, as the therapy program progressed, positive changes were observed in the art pieces, writings, and attachment elements. These findings suggest that art therapy utilizing attachment album and reaction art had positive influence on helping the participant form steady attachment

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 애착앨범과 반응미술을 활용한 미술치료가 불안정애착 성인여성의 안정애착 형성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 성인애착 점수가 회피 2.89점, 불안 2.50점으로 불안정애착에 해당되는 35세 기혼 여성이며, 주 1회씩 총 22회기에 회기 당 2시간씩 6개월간 개인미술치료에 참여하였다. 미술치료는 패브릭을 활용한 애착앨범과 반응미술을 중심으로 실시되었다. 치료의 효과를 알아보기 위해 성인애착 검사 도구인 성인애착유형검사(ECR)와 새둥지화(BND)를 적용하여 사전, 사후의 점수를 비교하였다. 또한 치료과정에서의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 작품과 글쓰기, 애착관련 요소를 단계별로 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과 첫째, 성인애착유형검사(ECR)는 사전점수에 비해 사후점수가 회피 2.22점, 불안 1.89점으로 낮아져 안정애착 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났고 애착유형도 불안정 회피형에서 안정애착 안심형으로 자기긍정과 타인긍정으로 변화를 보였다. 새둥지화(BND)는 사전에는 알만 있던 둥지였으나 사후에는 어미 새와 아비 새가 먹이를 주는 모습으로 바뀌는 등 안정애착 형성에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 회기가 진행됨에 따라 작품과 글쓰기, 애착관련 요소에서 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 애착앨범과 반응미술을 활용한 미술치료가 불안정애착 성인 여성의 안정애착 형성에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.
