초등학생의 정서와 학습관련 심리적 특성의 관계 = A study on the relationship between emotion and academic-related psychological characteristics of elementary school children

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the positive and negative emotions that elementary school children perceive and their relationships with academic-related characteristics. 921 students from 5~6 grade in Seoul and Gyeongi area participated in this study. The result of this study was as follows. The elementary school children showed positive emotions more than negative ones, and there was no gender difference. School adjustment, family support, use of cognitive strategy, self-efficacy, academic achievement was positively related with positive emotion and negatively related with negative emotion. The cognitive characteristics such as self-efficacy and cognitive strategy contributed much to the positive emotions. The only predictor for negative emotions was the self-efficacy. The students group with higher positive emotions and the lower level of negative ones, showed most desirable results on learning-related psychological characteristics. The students group with lower positive emotions and higher negative ones was the lowest. Further discussions of this study were presented.
