초등학교 교사문화에 대한 문화기술적 사례 연구 = An Ethnographic Case Study on Teacher`s Culture at an Elementary School

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to find out the characteristics of the elementary school teachers` culture. Research data has been collected and analyzed through direct observations, in-depth interviews, and study of documents from the elementary school teachers (ESTs). Five main characteristics of ESTs culture were discovered through the study: defending the class, doing only the amount that others should work, doing not taking disadvantages are as a culture of related to school tasks, building the invisible fence, living within the principal`s boundariesare as a culture of related to personal relation. Defending the class is that ESTs cope actively and formally with school work which gives a negative influence to the class. Doing only as much amount work as others do is that ESTs work only as much amount work as fellow teachers work. Doing not getting disadvantages is that ESTs evade tasks to take a lot of effort. Building the invisible fence is that ESTs form human relationships by self-centered. Living within the principal`s boundaries is that ESTs` life in the school is adapting to the school system under the managing rules of the principal.
