The Difference of Economic Views between Keyesians vs. Monetarists This study aims at considering the main theoritical difference between Keynesians vs. Monetarists, with the special emhasis on such important as the analysis of main causes of business fluctuation. the controversy on economic structure expecially in relation to the role of money. In summary, empirical research has shown conclusively that the extreme Keynesian, Keynesian, and extreme Monetarist positions are untenable. Analysis of the transmission mechaism has produced results indicating that monetary policy has a widely diffused, direct influence on all forms of expenditure, and this tends to support the conclusions of the Monetarist view of the transmission mechanism. Empirical research on the interest elasticities of the demand for and the supply of money also tends to support the Monetarist position. Although this debate is still far from being concluded, its final resolution may well rest close to Monetarist views on these issues. We have examined the theoretical models underlying the phrases "only meney matters," and "money doesn't matters." Keynesians believe that money matters very little relative to fiscal policy, whereas Monetarists believe that it matters very much. Because the correctness of these view has bearing on the appropriate mix of monetary and fiscal policy, the findings of empirical research are extremely important. The empirical results available to date support a view of the relative effectiveness of monetary vs. fiscal policy that is in closest accord with the monetarist view.
