The purpose of this study is to find a proper method of developing creativity in university writing education using the modern Joseon art works. The importance of “writing,” the basic expression ability of communication, has been gradually emphasized. Writing education in universities has also been recognizing this importance. Therefore, interpretation of creative competence became diversifying for writing methods to promote creative thinking rather than formalized writing. In this study, creative writing tasks using artworks were carried out in communication skills classes for freshmen. It is a task to create front and back stories focusing on the characters in the artworks with the visual images to help writing. In particular, it was aimed to allow them to understand the situation of the times modern Korean art, and develop their creativity at the same time. In this process, students organized creative contents through “open questions” and were able to submit writing tasks combined with the times as the results. Creativity, regardless of genre, has become an important ability to show individual competence. Various writing classes using art are currently being studied to promote students' creativity. I hope that the process of asking and responding to questions and creating new stories centered on our art will help us develop creative capabilities.
Existing prior research on time perspective studies have analyzed five types without Zimbardo's six types of time perspective. The aim of this study was the analysis of the time perspective characteristics of Korean college students based on Zimbardo's six types of time perspective. To determine research reliability (e.g., internal consistency, item, etc.) t-test, F-test, and Scheffe tests were carried out. All data were processed by SPSS 23.0. Key findings in the present-hedonistic time perspective group demonstrated a significant difference in membership based on degree subject area, specifically, more social studies students than law or business school students take a present-hedonistic time perspective. The post-analysis indicate that for the future time perspective, there are significant differences in subject-religion. In the present-fatalistic time perspective no significant difference based on student grade level was shown, specifically the first year and second year were better. Sixth the transcendental future time perspective group was distinguished by significant differences in religion, specifically Catholicism and Buddhism. Christian students are found to have a more transcendental future time perspective than students who identified with Shamanism.
Webtoon has become a unique genre by using digital technology to provide new fun without losing the identity of comics. Gang pool's webtoon <26years> is about people, who were children of martial law army and militia of 5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement, condemning the people responsible that time. Webtoon emphasizes that victims and offenders of 5.18 are all victims, paying particular attention to the continuity of trauma currentness. The narrative features of Webtoon are summarized as faction cartoons that utilize reinforcement and repetition of character story, tension using vertical scrolling, cinematic scene production through use of square. The film <26 years> concise and reconfigures the characters and background stories while faithful to the story of Webtoon. However, by leaving the character behind and omitting the background story, the characters lost roots and became an unlikely story. The film use variety of directing techniques such as cross editing by rapid overlapping and mise-en-scene through extreme symbolization. However, the film has been criticized for lack of completeness because of lack of time. As a result, the film makes disappointment in conveying a message to reflect and remember 5.18.
Confucius(孔子) said, ‘Do(道) not be far from people.' JungYong(中庸) wrote that ‘ChungSeo(忠恕) is not far from Do(道)'. The idea of ChungSeo(忠恕) is a social conscience for the social community, and is also the Do(道) for the personally disciplined. The idea of ChungSeo(忠恕思想) is like the ‘Golden Pule(黃金律)' of Western thought that ‘Do not want to give it to others should not be done to others'. It is fun when we play sports, and it is fun when we watch sports. Confucius & Mencius(孔孟)'s The way(Do) of study is Chung-Seo(忠恕)'s Do(道). And Chung-Seo(忠恕)'s Do(道) is the sum of ‘WiKiJiHak(爲己之學-A faithful study of oneself)' and ‘WiInJiHak(爲人之學-A study to show to others)'. This is, first of all, ‘Study for oneself(忠)', then ‘Going into society and respecting others(恕)'. This is the ‘Do(道) of Physical Education' of Confucius & Mencius. If we train physical education with Confucius & Mencius(孔孟)'s ideas of ‘Chung-Seo(忠-恕)' and ‘WiKiJiHak (爲己之學)-WiInJiHak(爲人之學)', we can guarantee ‘physical education' and ‘sporting events' which are more honorable and more human.
