      • 소형 가솔린 엔진에 알코올 연료의 이용을 위한 기초 실험

        One of the realistic counterplanes for the global environment problem due to CO₂ is the conversion of petroleum oil to the alternative fuel in the end-use stage. As the first stage of this work, gasoline-alcohol blend has been chosen as the alternative fuel and the preliminary tests was performed to collect the basic data which show the performance and exhaust emission characteristics. Engine test for pure gasoline and pure alcohol were carried out to investigate the operating limit due to power, fuel consumption. ?? exhaust concentration, lean combustion limit, abnormal combustion such as knock. The alcohol sensor is indispensible for the engine in a FFV running an alcohol-gasoline mixture fuel to accurately determine the composition of the and to reliably set engine operating conditions. Here, the fundamental experiment were carried out for the development of the capacitance-type sensor having characteristics of compactness, low cost, and high reliability.

      • 홈 오토메이션 환경을 위한 이동단말기 기반의 원격 영상 감시 시스템

        Home automation technology comes out as internet appliance spreads and users ask for more convenient services. But automation for small home and office is hardly applied because it needs expensive and large equipment such as a settop-box and a CCTV. To solve these problems, Home automation system should have functions to monitor and control appliances without any other equipment. First of all, the fundamental technologies such as image monitoring and controlling should be implemented to accomplish Home automation. The conventional image technology doesn't support real-time processing, transmission and playing for image because it focuses on buffering for high quality image. Moreover, it doesn't take any consideration on mobile devices with limited resources. In this paper,(to treat these problems,) we design and implement a remote image monitoring system. It uses image handling technology based on software to prevent a image delay problem caused by capturing images from cameras, It can also support multiple image monitoring which substitutes several original large images for small ones. This system could be used not only in the electric power monitoring and distributed controlling areas system but also in some areas related to education.

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the Beaux-Arts model as modern educational system focused on Paul P. Cret's architecture. The study process is to investigate his writings on American Beaux-Arts system and his architecture indicating Beaux-Arts composition related to American classicism. It is Paul Cret who influenced the establish-ment of academic system a professional practice. The artistic and academic nature of architectural practice is the essence of Beaux-Arts movement to redefine a modern profession. By stressing the importance of the his achieved through a rigorous training in Beaux-Arts system, the formulation of a rational method and vocabulary of american modern made possible practice and architectural education through design methodology focusing on planar form.

      • 신경망을 이용한 멀티캐스트 라우팅 알고리즘 구현

        This paper proposes a multicast routing algorithm based on neural networks. The multicast is a way that communicates data from one or multiple senders to the group of multiple receivers. It is suitable to provide multimedia services such as Video-Conferencing, Video on Demand, and so on. In this paper, we propose a modified Hopfield neural network to solve the QoS(Quality of Service) constrained multicast routing problem. We consider only one QoS constraint; the delay bound, which is the most important QoS parameter for the multimedia applications. The results show that the proposed algorithm can find the least cost routes from a source node to specific destinations within a delay time. It is also compared multicast routes with other existing heuristic algorithms.

      • 분산 유전자 알고리즘을 이용한 동영상 분할

        This paper presents a Bayesian framework for simultaneous motion segmentation and estimation using genetic algorithms (GAs). The segmentation label and motion field are modeled by Markov random fields (MRFs), and a MAP estimate is used to identify the optimal label and motion field. In this paper, the motion segmentation and estimation problems are formalized as optimization problems of the energy function. And, the process for optimization of energy function is performed by iterating motion segmentation and estimation using a genetic algorithm, which is robust and effective to deal with combinatorial problems. The computation is distributed into chromosomes that evolve by distributed genetic algorithms (DGAs). Experimental results shows that our proposed method estimates an accurate motion field and segments a satisfactory label fields.

      • 흡기 포트 형상에 대한 모터링 엔진의 실린더내 텀블유동 계측에 대한 실험적 연구

        Many researches of in-cylinder flow have been carried out, which played a large role in engine combustion. In this study the measurements of tumble flow were made for motoring condition(1000rpm) using laser Doppler velocimetry to investigate the in-cylinder flow with the change of intake port and compression ratio especially, during the intake and compression process. To further consider the tumble structures developed and decayed inside cylinder, several parameters were introduced which consisted of tumble averaging velocity, tumble area ratio, tumble moment and the eccentricity of tumble center. In this research available results about the optimal intake port configuration are obtained, which can be suitable guide line in the analysis of the tumble flow characteristics.

        We have explained process and electrical characteristics of a step-down Rosen type piezoelectric transformer for AC-adapter. When the electric voltage is applied to the driving piezoelectric vibrator polarized in the thickness direction, then output voltage is generated at the generating piezoelectric vibrator polarized in the thickness direction due to the piezoelectric effects. Output voltage and current from a single-layered piezoelectric transformer were measured under the various condition of loads and frequencies It was shown from experiments that output voltage has increased and resonance frequency has changed according to various resistor loads. Output current has decreased inversely proportional to the loads

      • 인트라넷을 이용한 통합자재명세서 관리시스템

        The Bill of Material(BOM) is one of the most important data in manufacturing systems. However, effective maintenance of BOM data is getting difficult as the amount and complexity of data have increased due to the variety and short life cycle of products. For the effective management of BOM data, two aspects must be considered. One is to reduce redundancy and the other is to provide data to the clients in remote area. To cope with these situations, we propose a prototype of web-based integrated BOM management system, which is based on the intranet and family BOM concept. The advantages of the proposed system are as follows: the amount of BOM data is reduced, data integrity is achieved, and an existing BOM management system can be directly interconnected through the intranet.

      • On the Design Criteria for Modern Laboratory

        본 연구는 현대식 연구소 시설데 대한 설계요소 및 계획요소에 대한 개념분석을 토대로 디자인 과정에서 발생하는 내부 공간 계획에 초점을 맞춘다. 연구소 공간계획의 현대적 특성과 관련하여 설비계획 및 동선계획이 이루어지고, 연구 프로젝트의 성격도 서비스 동선계획과 연관을 갖는다. 설비계획의 특성과 관련하여 유지 관리 및 에너지의 효율적 이용을 고려한 내부 동선계획의 중요성을 강조한다. 현대식 연구서의 연구환경에 대한 전반적인 공간계획의 장, 단점을 비교 분석하여 연구원의 사용 용이도에 따른 계획요소에 대한 고찰을 하고자 한다.

        This study analyzes the problems with special area unit plans for special areas in Korean cities based on the planning concept at the zone level and suggests an alternative to them. The analysis indicates that special area unit plans are not a suitable means for maintaining the features of special areas. As an alternative this study suggests a planning system for special areas including special area plan and project area plan. Special area plan is suggested as a comprehensive plan for a special area, which provides guidelines for project area plan. For such a special area this study proposes the criteria for selection of special areas within cities. Project area plan, on the other hand, is suggested as a detailed plan providing guidelines for project planning for the project area designated in the special area plan.
