The Monument in Jeokseong Fortress Site in Danyang(丹陽) was found in 1978. Although the upper part of this monument was broken, this is an important monument that was erected in the reign of King Jinhueng in Silla. Referring to researches so far, deciphering and restoring scripts was attempted at this article. After the leadership and administrators who related with administering Jeokseong were analyzed, their character were mentioned. Next, the contents of the monument and the year of erecting the monument were estimated. Finally, historical significance of this monument as a starting point of prosperity of Silla Dynasty in the mid 6th century was considered.

An Onboard Processor (OBP) that can perform base-band circuit switching has been designed for in-orbit mobile satellite communications experiments using Japanese Engineering Test Satellite VIII (ETS-VIII). The Onboard Processor can exchange both 5.6 kbps voice and 32 kbps data using the MC-TDMA access method and can provide about 1,000 channels with digital signal processing techniques.
Development of a walking assist machine using crutches (Composition and basic experiments)
Masaru HIGUCHI,Makoto OGATA,Shuta SATO,Yukio TAKEDA 대한기계학회 2010 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.24 No.1
This paper proposes a walking assist machine for people with walking difficulties. It has crutches operated by the user and a wearable mechanism generates motion of the leg and foot relative to the upper body. First, a healthy person’s swing-through walking using axillary crutches was measured and kinematically analyzed. Based on the results, a composition of a walking assist machine using crutches (WAMC) was proposed. An Experimental apparatus of WAMC was designed and built. It realized walking with desired constant step length. And it was clarified that error of the step length decreases its walking stability. Then we investigated the relationship between walking stability and parameters of walking motion by dynamic simulations. The desired parameters were determined through the simulations Sensors and switches which convey user’s intentions to WAMC were also designed and attached to the WAMC.
