Currently frontal crash safety evaluation is conducted by crashing a vehicle against a rigid barrier in Korea. It evaluate crash performance of a vehicle in a barrier test in terms of vehicle stiffness and strength. But this method is basic test. Probably, This test isn’t matched in Real World Crash Collision about occupant injury. So The availability of in-depth accident data is prerequisite for each efficient traffic safety management system. In this study, As using photo modeler program, It finds out relationship between occupant injury based on AIS and Estimated Energy Equivalent Speed in the real world in-depth accident data and compares crashing a vehicle test against a rigid barrier by using Madymo to Estimated Energy Equivalent Speed in the Real World in-depth accident data. Using Real World in-depth accident data is essential part of improving vehicle safety and reduction of traffic fatality in Korea.
A Study on Protecting Privacy of Machine Learning Models

Machine learning model gained the popularity in recent years as multi-national companies have incorporated machine learning in their services. Such service is called machine learning as a service (MLaSS). Such services are provided to users based on charge-per-query which triggers the motivations for adversaries to steal the trained victim model to reduce the cost of using the service. Therefore, it is important for companies that provide MLaSS to protect their intellectual property (IP) against adversaries. It has been arms race between the attack and defence in a context of the privacy of machine learning models. In this paper, we provide a comprehensive study of recent development in protecting privacy of machine learning models.

This paper proposes a broadcast software download (BSD) scheme for a 10-gigabit-capable passive optical network (XG-PON), which dramatically reduces the time required to update a remotely-located user terminal's software. The performance of the proposed BSD is examined by numerical analysis and demonstrated by experimental verification on our XG-PON test platforms. The results show that the BSD takes less than 5 minutes to update 45 user-terminal software, while the conventional unicast software download scheme normally takes more than one and half hours.
Big-data Analytics: Exploring the Well-being Trend in South Korea Through Inductive Reasoning

To understand a trend is to explore the intricate process of how something or a particular situation is constantly changing or developing in a certain direction. This exploration is about observing and describing an unknown field of knowledge, not testing theories or models with a preconceived hypothesis. The purpose is to gain knowledge we did not expect and to recognize the associations among the elements that were suspected or not. This generally requires examining a massive amount of data to find information that could be transformed into meaningful knowledge. That is, looking through the lens of big-data analytics with an inductive reasoning approach will help expand our understanding of the complex nature of a trend. The current study explored the trend of well-being in South Korea using big-data analytic techniques to discover hidden search patterns, associative rules, and keyword signals. Thereafter, a theory was developed based on inductive reasoning - namely the hook, upward push, and downward pull to elucidate a holistic picture of how big-data implications alongside social phenomena may have influenced the well-being trend.

사이버 공격은 점차 다양해지고, 그 위험성은 날로 심각해지고 있다. 가장 강력한 공격 중 하나는 DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) 공격이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 사이버 공격을 분류하고 이에 따른 방법 기법을 서술하겠다. 특히, 최신 DDoS 공격 탐지 방법을 소개하고 딥러닝 (Deep Learning) 을 활용한 최신 방어 기법 연구에 대해 살펴보도록 하겠다.

Since US adopt a requirement for universal, uniform anchor systems for child restraints, an enormous effort of some child seat manufacturers tried to improve the protective properties of Child Restraint System(CRS). The new standard includes FMVSS 225, Child Restraint Anchorage Systems and amendments to FMVSS 213 is effective in 1999. The universal anchor rule will provide devices independent of safety belts to attach child restraints to the vehicle. It will allow child restraints to be anchored more securely than is often possible with current safety belts. Currently, US, Australia and european comnmunity countries including Japan started testing of evaluation of CRS performances during their NCAP test programs and results are published.<br/> Korean government realized the impormance of CRS roles in child safety and investigate benefits of enhancement of CRS regulations. In this study, a series of numerical simulation because of lacks of ISOFIX ready CRS in the domestic market, is conducted to evaluated the different types of ISOFIX methods.<br/>
중견기업 성장을 위한 기업승계방안의 검토 - 공익법인과 종류주식의 활용을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 중견기업들이 가업승계를 통해 장수할 수 있도록 하는 기업승계의 문제를 검토한다. 기업승계는 과업승계보다 포괄적인 의미로 가업승계를 포함하기도 하지만 보다 큰 의미로 사회가 기업을 관리하는 형태의 승계에 초점을 맞추는 것이다. 이를 위해서 공익법인을 활용한 기업승계의 방법과 종류주식을 활용하는 방법의 적용가능성을 분석하였다. 미국과 독일 등의 해외사례를 살펴본 결과 공익법인을 활용하거나 종류주식을 활용한 기업승계를 통해 기업의 수명을 지속시키는 사례가 많은 것으로 보인다. 그러나 본 연구의 분석결과 공익법인을 활용한 기업승계의 방법론은 현행 국내 세법 규정 때문에 기업들이 활용하기 어려울 것으로 보이고, 종류주식을 활용하는 방법의 경우는 상법상의 제약이 존재하는 것으로 분석된다. 5% 이상의 주식을 공익법인 출연시 경영권을 유지하면서 증여세를 부담하게 되며, 주식을 매각하여 현금으로 공익법인에 이를 출연하는 방안도 양도소득세 부담 문제가 발생한다. 종류주식을 활용한 방법도 우리나라는 현재 의결권제한주식제도를 최근에 도입하고 있을 뿐, 차등의결권주식을 상법상 도입하고 있지 않고 있으며 만일 차등의결권주식이 도입될 경우 차등의 결권주식의 세무상 가치를 어떻게 평가하여 과세할 것인지가 쟁점이 될 수 있다. This study examines the issue of corporate succession that enables medium-sized companies to live longer through family business succession. Corporate succession includes family business succession in a more comprehensive sense than task succession, but in a larger sense it focuses on succession in the form in which society manages business. To this end, we analyzed the applicability of the method of corporate succession using public interest corporations and the method of using different classes of shares under the Commercial Act. In the case of the US and Germany, it seems that there are many cases of sustaining the life of a company through the succession of corporations using public interest corporation or different classes of shares. However, according to the analysis of this study, the methodology of corporate succession using public interest corporations will be difficult for corporations to use due to the current domestic tax law regulations. In addition, it is analyzed that there are limitations in Commercial Act in the case of the method of utilizing different classes of shares. It is analyzed that there is no way to avoid gift tax while maintaining voting rights if more than 5% of shares appear in the public interest foundation for corporate succession. Also, giving up management rights and cashing them into a public interest corporation causes various problems such as burden of capital gains tax. The method using different classes of shares is also difficult to use because it does not introduce dual class shares under the Commercial Act, and even if dual class shares are introduced, tax valuation of dual class shares may be an issue.

지속가능한 미래도시에서 중요 개념 중의 하나는 ‘직주근접’이다. 직주근접을 통하여 출퇴근시간을 줄이고 보행 및 자전거 이용권에서 자족적인 생활권을 영위하여 지역공동체를 구현하는 것이다. 80년대 서울의 도시 확장과정에서부터 베드타운으로 자리잡은 동북권은 직주분리로 인하여 교통 체증, 일자리 자족율 저하 등 왜곡된 도시 구조가 심화되고 있다. 동북권의 지속가능한 발전을 위해서 지역민 대상 설문조사, 산업 수요기반 분석, 서울시 산업 분석, 잠재적 인적 및 공간 자원 분석 등을 통하여 동북권 산업클러스터를 구상한다. One of important concepts of sustainable city planning is "JobHousing Proximity" by which commuting time can be decreased and local community can be self-sufficient in walking range. Since 1980", according to urban expansion, northeastern Seoul region which has developed bed town have traffic congestion and job crunch etc. many problems because of seperation of job and housing and this problems become accelerated. Cluster of northeastern Seoul region is to study for the sustainable development city.
