유색차광에 의한 국내육성 ‘참녹’, ‘금설’, ‘보향’ 품종(Camellia sinensis cv. Chamnok, Keumsull, Bohyang)의 아미노산 함량

찻잎의 아미노산 함량은 차 맛과 밀접한 관련이 있으며 유전특성, 질소시비, 광량 등에 밀접한 영향을 받는다. 따라서 본 연구는 찻잎의 아미노산 함량과 조성에 영향을 미치는 차광조건을 구명하기 위하여 국내품종인 ‘금설’, ‘참녹’, ‘보향’ 품종에 빨강, 초록, 검정 색상의 차광망을 3주간 처리한 뒤 아미노산을 분석하여 비교하였다. 아미노산 함량은 ‘보향’이 31.5mg·g<SUP>-1</SUP>으로 ‘금설’(23.0mg·g<SUP>-1</SUP>)과 ‘참녹’(23.3mg·g<SUP>-1</SUP>)에 비해 많았다. 품종별 테아닌 함량은 12.8mg·g<SUP>-1</SUP>, 8.1mg·g<SUP>-1</SUP>, 9.8mg·g<SUP>-1</SUP>이었다. 품종별 아미노산 함량이 가장 많이 증가한 차광망 색상은 ‘금설’ 빨강(28.2%), ‘참녹’ 검정(33.0%), ‘보향’ 빨강(29.2%)이었다. 초록 차광망은 ‘참녹’과 ‘보향’에서 각각 12.6%, 22% 감소하였다. 빨강과 검정 차광망에서 테아닌은 ‘금설’ 69.1%, 63.5%,, ‘참녹’ 45.7%, 66.3%, ‘보향’ 46.4, 81.5% 증가하였다. 초록 차광망에서 ‘참녹’ 4.6%, ‘보향’ 33.1% 감소하였다. 결론적으로 적색차광은 아미노산 함량을 높이는데 관행방법인 검정차광과 효과가 동일했지만, 초록차광은 아미노산의 함량이 오히려 감소였다.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyse the effect of End-Tidal Carbon Dioxide (ETCO2) monitoring on patients who had been poisoned and presented in the emergency department with decreased consciousness. Methods: The data of patients over 18 years old presenting with poisoning from 2016 to 2020 was collected from the emergency department. We retrospectively analyzed their medical records, and defined patients with a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 9 or less as having decreased consciousness. We divided the patients into two groups, one with ETCO2 monitoring and the other without, and the difference between the two groups was compared. Results: 168 patients participated in this study and 83 (49.4%) of them belonged to the ETCO2 monitoring group. In this group, the interval between arterial blood tests was statistically significantly longer and the rate of intubation was lower. In addition, in the monitoring group, the incidence of pneumonia and the rate of poor prognosis was not significantly higher. Conclusion: Although ETCO2 monitoring does not directly affect the prognosis of poisoned patients with decreased consciousness, it should be actively done as it can help to adequately treat patients while avoiding invasive techniques or unnecessary intubation.

A series of experiment were conducted to know the cultural techniques for producing medium or small-size fruits in `Niitaka` pear. To know the effect of crop loading on fruit quality, crop load adjustment applied to the trees with regular tree vigor, which showed the more crop load made the smaller fruits but did not alter fruit quality. Another experiment was carried out for trunk cross-sectional area (TCA) affecting fruit quality. Although TCA hardly affected fruit quality, the wider TCA made the bigger fruits and the smaller TCA caused the smaller fruits. Comparing fruit quality by different pruning parts on branches, the branches without pruning or those removed their lower shoots produced the heaviest fruits and the branches removed their upper shoots made the smallest fruits. In the comparison of fruit quality between the training systems, there were no differences in fruit weight, fruit length, and fruit diameter. However, the fruits from Y-trellis system had higher soluble solids content.
