Background: Previous epidemiological studies have suggested a potential role of the $HSPA1B{\pm}1267A/G$ polymorphism in risk of developing cancer. However, the results were inconsistent. Therefore, we performed this meta-analysis to summarize the possible association with cancer risk. Materials and Methods: We retrieved relevant articles from PubMed, EMBASE, ISI Web of Science, Chinese Biomedical Literature and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure. Studies were selected using specific criteria. Odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated to assess those associations. All analyses were performed using STATA software. Results: Fourteen case-control studies, including 1, 834 cancer cases and 2, 028 controls were included in this meta-analysis. Overall, the results indicated that the G allele of HSPA1B gene ${\pm}1267A/G$ was significantly associated with an increased cancer risk in all genetic models (G vs A: OR=1.51, 95%CI 1.17-1.95, p=0.001; GG vs AA: OR=2.93, 95%CI 1.50-5.74, p=0.002; AG vs AA: OR=1.48, 95%CI 1.10-1.98, p=0.009; GG/AG vs AA: OR=1.69, 95%CI 1.22-2.33, p=0.001; GG vs AG/AA: OR=2.31, 95%CI 1.24-4.32, p=0.009). In the subgroup analysis stratified by ethnicity, a significant association was identified in Caucasians (G vs A: OR=1.35, 95%CI 1.08-1.69, p=0.008; GG/AG vs AA: OR=1.36, 95%CI 1.09-1.70, p=0.007), but not in Asians. In the stratified analysis by cancer types, individuals with the G allele showed an increased risk of hepatocellular carcinoma compared with carriers of the A allele (OR=2.40, 95%CI 1.47-3.91, p<0.001). Inversely, individuals with the GG genotype showed a decreased risk of gastric cancer compared with carriers of the AG/GG genotypes (GG vs AG/AA: OR=0.39, 95%CI 0.20-0.70, p=0.007). Conclusions: This meta-analysis suggests associations between the HSPA1B ${\pm}1267A/G$ polymorphism and risk of cancer. However, this association might be Caucasian-specific and the G allele of this polymorphism probably increases risk of hepatocellular carcinoma while decreasing risk of gastric cancer. Further well-designed studies based on larger sample sizes are needed to validate these findings.

Background: DICER, one of the microRNA (miRNA) biogenesis proteins, is involved in the maturation of miRNAs and is implicated in cancer development and progression. The results from previous epidemiological studies on associations between DICER rs1057035 polymorphism and cancer risk were inconsistent. Thereforewe performed this meta-analysis to summarize possible associations. Materials and Methods: We searched all relevant articles on associations between DICER rs1057035 polymorphism and cancer risk from PubMed, EMBASE, Chinese Biomedical Literature and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure until August 2014. Odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated to assess any associations. Heterogeneity tests, sensitivity analyses and publication bias assessments were also performed in this meta-analysis. All analyses were conducted using STATA software. Results: Seven case-control studies, including 4,875 cancer cases and 7,800 controls were included in the meta-analysis. Overall, the results indicated that the C allele of DICER rs1057035 polymorphism was significantly associated with decreased cancer risk in allelic comparison, heterozygote and dominant genetic models (C vs T: OR=0.88, 95%CI 0.81-0.95, p=0.002; TC vs TT: OR=0.85, 95%CI 0.77-0.93, p=0.001; CC/TC vs TT: OR=0.86, 95%CI 0.78-0.94, p=0.001). In the subgroup analysis by ethnicity, a significantly decreased cancer risk was found in Asian but not Caucasian populations. Conclusions: The present meta-analysis suggests that the C allele of the DICER rs1057035 polymorphism probably decreases cancer risk. However, this association may be Asian-specific and the results should be treated with caution. Further well-designed studies based on larger sample sizes and group of populations are needed to validate these findings.

Water-based polyurethane (WPU) provides a number of benefits over typical solvent-based polyurethane. WPU ismore environmentally friendly, safe, and reliable. The WPU with polycaprolactone diol/polycarbonate diol (PCL/PCDL)complex soft segment was developed using a prepolymer technique to enhance the color depth of cotton knitted fabrics dyedwith reactive dyes. The appearance, particle size, zeta potential, and viscosity of WPU emulsions were analyzed. Thechemical structure, thermal stability, phase change performance, and topography of WPU films were characterized byFourier-transform infrared (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and atomicforce microscopy (AFM), respectively. The tensile and hydrophilic properties of the WPU films were examined by anelectronic universal testing machine and contact angle goniometer, respectively. The K/S value, rubbing fastness, washingfastness, and wearability of finished and unfinished dark cotton knitted fabrics were measured. Simultaneously, the chemicalstructure and morphology of fabrics were investigated using FTIR and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The resultsshow the WPU-2 emulsion demonstrated excellent stability, and the WPU-2 film showed superior thermal stability. The K/Svalue of the dark cotton knitted fabric finished with WPU-2 emulsion (40 g/l) increased by 18.58 %, and the wet rubbingcolor fastness of the resulting fabric was enhanced. The SEM results show a layer of film covered the surface of the finishedfabric. In summary, the WPU can provide a new technique for enhancing the color depth of fabrics.

Study on a Wireless Environmental Monitoring System for Duck Incubator

Taiwan's domestic development of incubators are in simple structure, at low prices, and generally used by the industry. However, high number of regional dead eggs, the inability to understand the environmental conditions of incubator and other issues occurred frequently, resulting in operation and production difficulties. This research developed a wireless environmental monitoring system to collect data and upload to the cloud. A variety of environmental sensors and Raspberry Pi 3 were used in the establishment of wireless sensing module and environmental information detection platform. The environmental information was displayed in real-time and uploaded to the cloud. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) was also used to simulate the internal flow field inside the incubator to determine the environmental control features, and control heating and humidification equipment with a PID controller. In this study, the establishment of wireless environmental monitoring system was completed. The wireless sensing module and the environment information detection platform have also been developed and tested. The stability of wireless sensing module was 98.5%, and the CFD simulation error was under 20%, which was low enough to predict the actual field temperature changes, and can be applied to the regulation of the incubator environment.

We try to find natural elements in our life, which have common emotional response to the past, the present, and the future. We also apply the irreversibility of natural elements to express that each interactive person is an Irreplaceable and unique existence. We observe the development of modern society or today's products. The design focuses are almost always talk about intelligence or how to make life more convenient and how to make the appearance simpler and so on. We are worried that the pursuit of simplification and intelligence will make people feel like robots and be lack of emotion, so our design hopes to evoke people's enthusiasm for life, to remember the beauty past and to look forward to the broad future, to feel the present with full heart, and to find the purest incitement and value of life.

A wireless power transfer (WPT) system based on inductive resonant coupling makes it possible for endoscope micro robot (EMR) to explore intestine noninvasively. However, due to the increased demand for energy in such micro robot system, such as autonomous movement and drug delivery, the small receiving coil (Φ 15 mm × 13 mm) embedded in limited space on micro robot could not supply enough power as expected. To improve the power supply issue, this article proposes a threecoil WPT system for EMRs system. Based on the refl ected impedance theory, the receiving end of three-coil WPT system is analyzed. Then, according to maximum power transfer principle, parameters relative to performance of WPT system have been optimized through simulation. After that, some bench tests are constructed. A good match is found between analysis results and experimental data. By comparing the three-coil PTW and two-coil WPT systems, it has verifi ed that the transmission effi ciency can be increased signifi cantly to 11.2% by optimized three-coil WPT system and the power dissipation of receiving end could be reduced greatly when the micro robot is under a high power consumption, which is more suitable for endoscope micro robot system with limited space.
