[Li0.03(K0.48Na0.52)0.97](Nb0.97Sb0.03)O3-(Ba0.85Ca0.15)(Ti0.90Zr0.10)O3 [(1-x)LKNNS-xBCTZ] lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by the conventional solid state method, and effects of BCTZ content on the piezoelectric properties of LKNNS ceramics were mainly investigated. A stable solid solution has been formed between LKNNS and BCTZ, and a morphotropic phase boundary of (1-x)LKNNS-xBCTZ ceramics is identified in the range of 0 < x ≤ 0.02. The Curie temperature of (1-x)LKNNS-xBCTZ ceramics decreases with increasing BCTZ content. A higher εr value and a lower tan d value are demonstrated for the (1-x)LKNNS-xBCTZ ceramic with x = 0.02. The (1-x)LKNNS-xBCTZ ceramic with x = 0.02 has an enhanced electrical behavior of d33w237 pC/N, kpw 48.6%, 3 rw1451, tan d w0.037, and Tcw335 ℃. As a result, (1-x)LKNNS-xBCTZ ceramics are promising candidate materials for the field of lead-free piezoelectric materials.

Ras homolog enriched in brain (Rheb) and FK506 binding protein 38 (FKBP38) are two important regulatory proteins in the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway. There are contradictory data on the interaction between Rheb and FKBP38 in human cells, but this association has not been examined in cashmere goat cells. To investigate the interaction between Rheb and FKBP38, we overexpressed goat Rheb and FKBP38 in goat fetal fibroblasts, extracted whole proteins, and performed coimmunoprecipitation to detect them by western blot. We found Rheb binds directly to FKBP38. Then, we constructed bait vectors (pGBKT7-Rheb/FKBP38) and prey vectors (pGADT7-Rheb/FKBP38), and examined their interaction by yeast two-hybrid assay. Their direct interaction was observed, regardless of which plasmid served as the prey or bait vector. These results indicate that the 2 proteins interact directly in vivo. Novel evidence is presented on the mTOR signal pathway in Cashmere goat cells.

The membrane fouling is an important problem for FO applied to the radioactive wastewater treatment. The FO fouling characteristics for simulated radioactive wastewater treatment was investigated. On-line cleaning by deionized (DI) water and external cleaning by ultrasound and HCl were applied for the fouled membrane. The effectiveness and foulant removing amount by each-step cleaning were evaluated. The membrane fouling was divided into three stages. Co(II), Sr(II), Cs(I), Na(I) were all found deposited on both active and support layers of the membrane surface, resulting in membrane surface became rougher and more hydrophobic, which increased membrane resistance. On-line cleaning by DI water recovered the water flux to 69%. HCl removed more foulants than ultrasound.

Prefabricated hybrid wind turbine towers (WTTs) are promising due to height increase. This study proposes the use of ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) to develop a new type of WTT without the need to use reinforcement. It is demonstrated that the UHPC WTT structure without reinforcing bars could achieve performance similar to that of reinforced concrete WTTs. To simplify the design of WTT, a design approach for the calculation of stresses at the horizontal joints of a WTT is proposed. The stress distribution near the region of the horizontal joint of the WTT structure under normal operating conditions and different load actions is studied using the proposed approach, which is validated by the finite element method. A further parametric study shows that the degree of prestressing and the bending moment both significantly affect the principal stress. The shear-to-torsion ratio also shows a significant influence on the principal tensile stress.
Measurement of elasticity of normal placenta using the Virtual Touch quantification technique

Purpose: The aim of this study was to measure the elasticity of normal placentas using the VirtualTouch quantification (VTQ) technique. Methods: This study was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee. Fifty randomly selected,healthy pregnant women in their second trimester and 50 randomly selected, healthy pregnantwomen in their third trimester with a single fetus were included, and their placentas underwentVTQ through shear wave velocity (SWV) measurements. The measurements were performed atdifferent locations to sample different areas of the placenta. Measurements were performed 3-4times in each location, the mean shear wave velocities were calculated without the highest andlowest values of measurements in each region, and the results were compared. Results: The SWV of the placenta was 0.983±0.260 m/sec, and the minimal and maximal speedwas 0.63 m/sec and 1.84 m/sec, respectively. There was no significant difference between thesecond and third trimester of VTQ of the placenta in terms of SWV (0.978±0.255 m/sec vs. 0.987±0.266 m/sec, P=0.711). The maternal age between second and third trimester was27.9±4.3 years and 29.2±4.4 years, respectively; there was no significant difference betweenthem (P=0.159). Conclusion: The results of this study show that the SWV of normal placenta tissue is 0.983±0.260m/sec, it has little variation between the second and third trimesters, and the VTQ technique maypotentially play an additional role in placenta evaluation.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the influence of variations in fatty liver on the ultrasonographic detection of focal liver lesions. Methods: A total of 229 patients with varying degrees of fatty liver and focal liver lesions and 200 patients with focal liver lesions but no fatty liver were randomly selected for inclusion in groups I and II, respectively. Findings of focal liver lesions identified on computed tomography were taken as the reference, and findings on ultrasonography were compared with them. Results: The number of focal liver lesions in groups I and II were 501 and 413, respectively. The ultrasonographic detection rates of focal liver lesions in groups I and II were 86.8% (435/501) and 94.2% (389/413), respectively. Comparison of the detection of the focal lesions between patients with and without fatty liver or different grades of fatty liver were as follows: mild fatty liver (162/177) vs. liver without fat infiltration (389/413) (P=0.277); mild fatty liver (162/177) vs. moderate fatty liver (190/212) (P=0.604); mild fatty liver (162/177) vs. severe fatty liver (83/112) (P<0.001); moderate fatty liver (190/212) vs. liver without fat infiltration (389/413) (P=0.051); moderate fatty liver (190/212) vs. severe fatty liver (83/112) (P<0.001); severe fatty liver (83/112) vs. liver without fat infiltration (389/413) (P<0.001); and fatty liver (435/501) vs. liver without fat infiltration (389/413) (P<0.001). Conclusion: Mild and moderate fatty liver are not significantly associated with the visualization of the lesion, while severe fatty liver usually impairs the detection of focal lesions in the liver. If a patient with severe fatty liver is suspected to have a liver tumor, ultrasonography should only be chosen cautiously in case of a missed diagnosis.

自 2014 年以来,民族团结理论及其政策实践的研究成果逐年增多,并呈现出两种取向,一是从马克思民族理论的中国实践出发对中国特色解决民族问题的正确道路进行总结与提炼,二是将民族团结作为一种人类联结形式而进行的本源性探索。随着党中央对民族团结的理解和认识正逐步由政治领域回归到社会领域,回归对民族团结本质及其作用机理的探索应成为今后学界关注的重点。 Since 2014, the research results on the theory of ethnic unity and its policy practice have been increasing year by year, showing two orientations. One is to summarize and refine the correct path of solving ethnic problems with Chinese characteristics based on the Chinese practice of Marxist ethnic theory, and the other is to explore ethnic unity as a form of human connection. As the Party Central Committee’s understanding of ethnic unity is gradually returning from the political field to the social field, the exploration of the essence and mechanism of ethnic unity should become a focus of attention in the academic community in the future.

Amoxicillin (AMX) is the most commonly used antibiotic in life. AMX was extracted from aqueoussolution by synergetic carrier emulsion liquid membrane (ELM) technology for thefirst time. Themembrane phase of ELM was mainly composed of kerosene and butyl acetate. The carrier has consisted ofAliquat-336 and TOA, the surfactant was Span-80, and the membrane enhancer was liquid paraffin. AndNa2CO3 and NaCl were used as the internal aqueous phase for extraction. Firstly, the basic structure andmechanism of emulsion were characterized and analyzed. And then, the center composite design (CCD)of response surface methodology (RSM) was used to optimize the operating conditions. The optimalvalues were: Aliquat-336 concentration (1.1% v/v), trioctylamine (TOA) concentration (8.6% v/v), andextraction time (15 min), AMX concentration (75 mg/L). A polynomial model wasfitted to predict theextraction yield of AMX. Under the optimal operating conditions, the optimal extraction prediction valuewas 98.58%, the extraction actual value was 98.2%, and the recovery rate of AMX was 75.3%.
Face Expression Recognition Based on Motion Templates and 4-layer Deep Learning Neural Network

A human facial expression is the formation of facial muscle movement. In our previous research, we proposed a method of identifying facial muscle movement which based on motion templates and GentleBoost. But the method was not robust enough to recognize human expression due to insufficient learning stage. So in this paper, we proposed a new method based on motion templates and 4-layer deep learning neural network to identify human's facial expressions. We recognized Action Unit as a kind of features by using motion templates and adaboost firstly, and then the extracted features were used to feed a 4-layer deep learning neural network to recognize the facial expression. The experimental results have proved that the proposed method can solve the problem encountered in our previous research.
