The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of organizational culture on job satisfaction and organizational commitment among employees in small and medium-sized enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The study hypothesized that organizational culture has a significant influence on employees’ satisfaction and that satisfaction also significantly impactsorganizational commitment among employees. The data are collected from a sample of 240 office employees. Structural Equation Modeling is used to determine the influence of organizational culture dimensions, including open working environment, salary, and rewards, empowerment, management style, corporate values, on employees’ satisfaction and organizational commitment. The findings showed that the five dimensions of organizational culture positively impact employees’ satisfaction and that job satisfaction significantly influences organizational commitment. Thus, job satisfaction serves as the bridge between organizational culture and commitment. The current study contributes to providing a practical insight into the relationships between organizational culture, employees’ job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Based on that, managers can develop suitable personnel policies for their organizations to simultaneously enhance employees’ performance and satisfaction, which makes them stay with the company.

<P>This work focuses on systematic studies of dissolution engineering for Pt0.9M0.1/graphene(M = Au, Co, Cu, Fe, Mo, Ni, Pd, Ru, and Sn) counter electrodes (CEs). The developed nanohybrid materials exhibit higher catalytic activity and electrical conductivity compared with those of Pt/graphene CEs. The results also indicate the improved stability of the developed CEs in iodide electrolyte. Furthermore, the trend in the variation of the reactivity of the PtM alloys agrees well with the concept of density functional theory (one-electron description). An enhancement in the catalytic activity of the developed nanohybrids results from the electronic effect that originates from an upward shift of the platinum d-band to the Fermi energy level upon alloying. Thus, the Pt(0.9)M(0.1)graphene nanohybrids are cost-effective alternative CE materials to the expensive Pt. The obtained results provide a foundation for enhancing the catalytic activities of CEs for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs). The implementation of the Pt0.9M0.1/graphene nanohybrids offers significant potential for increasing the efficiency of DSCs. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.</P>
A Human Movement Stream Processing System for Estimating Worker Locations in Shipyards
Duong, Dat Van Anh,Yoon, Seokhoon The Institute of Internet 2021 International Journal of Internet, Broadcasting an Vol.13 No.4
Estimating the locations of workers in a shipyard is beneficial for a variety of applications such as selecting potential forwarders for transferring data in IoT services and quickly rescuing workers in the event of industrial disasters or accidents. In this work, we propose a human movement stream processing system for estimating worker locations in shipyards based on Apache Spark and TensorFlow serving. First, we use Apache Spark to process location data streams. Then, we design a worker location prediction model to estimate the locations of workers. TensorFlow serving manages and executes the worker location prediction model. When there are requirements from clients, Apache Spark extracts input data from the processed data for the prediction model and then sends it to TensorFlow serving for estimating workers' locations. The worker movement data is needed to evaluate the proposed system but there are no available worker movement traces in shipyards. Therefore, we also develop a mobility model for generating the workers' movements in shipyards. Based on synthetic data, the proposed system is evaluated. It obtains a high performance and could be used for a variety of tasksin shipyards.

Emiliania huxleyi is a marine phytoplankton that plays a critical role in global carbon and sulfur cycling. The genome of E. huxleyi has been sequenced, and an in-depth proteomic profile of this organism has been reported. This study analyzed the phosphoproteome of E. huxleyi and identified its changes under calcium-limited conditions. A TiO2 microcolumn was used for phosphopeptide enrichment, followed by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry analysis. Overall, we identified 7,010 phosphorylated sites on 3,355 phosphopeptides associated with 2,929 phosphoproteins in E. huxleyi. Quantitative analysis revealed changes in the phosphoproteome in E. huxleyi when ambient conditions changed to calcium-limited conditions, notably the phosphorylation of some transporters was altered. This study provides an overview of protein phosphorylation in E. huxleyi and paves the way for further investigations of its biological functions.
Luminescence Properties of Ba₃Si6O12 N₂:Eu2+ Green Phosphor
Van Duong Luong,Dinh Phuong Doan,Hong-Ro Lee 한국표면공학회 2015 한국표면공학회지 Vol.48 No.5
To fabricate white LED having a high color rendering index value, red color phosphor mixed with the green color phosphor together in the blue chip, namely the blue chips with RG phosphors packaging is most favorable for high power white LEDs. In our previous papers, we reported on successful syntheses of Sr₂-Si5N8:Eu2+ and CaAlSiN₃ phosphors for red phosphor. In this work, for high power green phosphor, greenemitting ternary nitride Ba₃Si6O12N₂:Eu2+ phosphor was synthesized in a high frequency induction furnace under N₂ gas atmosphere at temperatures up to 1400℃ using EuF₃ as a raw material for Eu2+dopant. The effects of molar ratio of component and experimental conditions on luminescence property of prepared phosphors have been investigated. The structure and luminescence properties of prepared Ba₃Si6O12N₂:Eu2+ phosphors were investigated by XRD and photoluminescence spectroscopy. The excitation spectra of Ba₃Si6O12N₂:Eu2+ phosphors indicated broad excitation wavelength range of 250 - 500 nm, namely from UV to blue region with distinct enhanced emission spectrum peaking at ≈ 530 nm.

ReTain is a commercial product containing the plant growth regulator aminoethoxyvinylglycine (AVG). This compound is known to competitively inhibit ethylene production. Benzothiadiazole (BTH) is an activator of systemic acquired resistance used for triggering induced resistance in plants. The pre-harvest foliar application of ReTain alone or BTH and ReTain, 2 weeks before anticipated harvesting time, delayed the median harvest day by 5.5 days. Melons harvested from plots were treated with ReTain or combined with BTH had lower rates of ethylene production at harvest and after cold storage than melons harvested from BTH-treated and control plants. ReTain-treated fruit had about 1% higher soluble solid concentrations (SSC) than control fruit. Indicators of delayed fruit maturity were greener rind and firmer flesh. In addition, the effect of ReTain or the combination of ReTain and BTH on the tolerance to postharvest rot was investigated. The results suggest that application of combined ReTain and BTH has major benefits as a harvest management tool for rockmelon production byallowing growers to regulate fruit ripening, improve fruit quality and reduce postharvest rot severity.
