        가노지고로의 유학생 체육 교육이 동아시아 체육사에 미친 영향

        본 연구는 가노지고로의 유학생 체육교육이 동아시아에 어떻게 적용, 전파되었는지에 근원적 본질을 밝히고자 한다. 이상의 관점에서 진행된 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가노지고로의 청나라 유학생 교육은 가쓰 가이슈의 흥아론을 기반으로 청나라의 발전을 위한 교육이었지만 조선인 유학생 교육은 국학자들의 탈아론에 영향을 받아 내선일체의 수단으로 사용되었다. 둘째, 가노지고로가 청나라 유학생들에게 전파한 체육 사상은 신체를 잘 연마하면 체육은 사회생활의 방법이 되고 이 목표를 달성할 경우 비로소 자신과 타인이 함께 성장하는 기초가 된다는 자타공영의 사상이었다. 이 사상은 청나라 유학생 양창하에게 전파 되었고 양창하는 다시 중국 형성에 큰 영향을 미친 마우쩌둥의 체육 사상에 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 셋째, 가노지고로는 조선인 유학생들에게 체육 교육의 문호를 개방하였고 여기에 유학을 다녀온 조선인 유학생들은 가노지고로의 사상적 종지인 정력선용, 자타공영의 사상을 문화변용(文化變容)하여 일제에 협력하는 수단 또는 민족 자강의 수단으로 조선에 적용하게 된다. This study set out to investigate the fundamental essence in the way that Kano Jigoro’s physical education for foreign students was applied and transmitted in East Asia. Conducted from this perspective, the study generated the following results: first, his education for students from Qing was for the development of Qing based on Katsu Kaishu Asian prosperity, whereas his education for students from Joseon was used as means of promoting the ‘Korea and Japan are One’ policy under the influence of classical scholars’ Theory of Beyond Asia; secondly, he spread his idea of physical education to students from Qing, and it was Jatagongyong, which argues that physical education can be a method of social life through the good training of the body and that the fulfillment of this objective will offer a basis for the joint growth of others as well as oneself. This idea reached Yang Chang-ha, a student from Qing studying in Japan, and he had huge impacts on the physical education ideas of Mao Zedong, who had tremendous influences on the formation of China; and finally, Kano Jigoro opened doors of physical education to students from Joseon studying in Japan. After finishing their study in Japan, these Joseon students applied his ideological cadences, Jeongryeokseonyong and Jatagongyong, as means of collaborating with Japanese Imperialism and making strenuous efforts for the nation through the acculturation of these ideas. asian prosperity.

      • Lanthanum Doping Enabling High Drain Current Modulation in a p-Type Tin Monoxide Thin-Film Transistor

        <P>Effects of lanthanum (La) loading on the structural, optical, and electrical properties of tin monoxide (SnO) films were examined as a p-type semiconducting layer. La loading up to 1.9 atom % caused the texturing of the tetragonal SnO phase with a preferential orientation of (101), which was accompanied by the smoother surface morphology. Simultaneously, the incorporated La cation suppressed the formation of n-type SnO<SUB>2</SUB> in the La-doped SnO film and widened its optical band gap. These variations allowed the 1.9 atom % La-loaded SnO film to have a high hole mobility and carrier density, compared with the La-free control SnO film. The superior semiconducting property was reflected in the p-type thin-film transistor (TFT). The control SnO TFTs exhibited the field-effect mobility (μ<SUB>SAT</SUB>) and <I>I</I><SUB>ON/OFF</SUB> ratio of 0.29 cm<SUP>2</SUP> V<SUP>-1</SUP> s<SUP>-1</SUP> and 5.4 × 10<SUP>2</SUP>, respectively. Enhancement in the μ<SUB>SAT</SUB> value and <I>I</I><SUB>ON/OFF</SUB> ratio was observed for the TFTs with the 1.9 atom % La-loaded SnO channel layer: they were improved to 1.2 cm<SUP>2</SUP> V<SUP>-1</SUP> s<SUP>-1</SUP> and 7.3 × 10<SUP>3</SUP>, respectively. The reason for this superior performance was discussed on the basis of smoother morphology, suppression of disproportionation conversion from Sn<SUP>2+</SUP> to Sn + Sn<SUP>4+</SUP>, and reduced gap-state density.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

        다중벽 탄소나노튜브를 이용한 철근 부식 검출 센서 제작 연구

        In this study, rebar corrosion detection sensor was fabricated using multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). MWCNTs were pre-treated in the acid electrolytes to attach the carboxylic acid to the surface of MWCNTs. The fabricated sensor was attached on the surface of rebar and it detected the corrosion of steel using LCR meter with variation of capacitance. The surface morphology and electrical properties were characterized using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electrical test equipment, respectively. To verify the corrosion detection characteristics, comparison experiment using plastic bar was performed. Moreover, mechanism of corrosion detection sensor was discussed.

        Current status of laparoscopic emergency surgery in Korea: multicenter restrospective cohort study

        Purpose: Laparoscopic surgery is a choice in several emergency settings. However, there has been no nationwide study or survey that has compared the clinical use of laparoscopic emergency surgery (LES) versus open abdominal emergency surgery (OES) in Korea. Therefore, we examined the state of LES across multiple centers in Korea and further compared this data with the global state based on published reports. Methods: Data of 2,122 patients who received abdominal emergency surgery between 2014 and 2019 in three hospitals in Korea were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Several clinical factors were investigated and analyzed. Results: Of the patients, 1,280 (60.3%) were in the OES group and 842 (39.7%) were in the LES group. The most commonly operated organ in OES was the small bowel (25.8%), whereas that for LES was the appendix. In appendectomy and cholecystectomy, 93.7% and 88.0% were in the LES group. In small bowel surgery, gastric surgery, and large bowel surgery, 89.4%, 92.0%, and 79.1% were in the OES group. The severity-related factors of patient status demonstrated statistically significant limiting factors of selection between LES and OES. Conclusion: Although our study has several limitations, compared to the LES data from other countries, the general LES state was similar in appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and small bowel surgeries. However, in gastric and colorectal surgeries, the LES state was different from those of other countries. This study demonstrated the LES state and limiting factors of selection between LES and OES in various operated organs. Further studies are required to analyze these differences and the various limiting factors.

        Determining the appropriate resting energy expenditure requirement for severe trauma patients using indirect calorimetry in Korea: a retrospective observational study

        Purpose: This study aimed to compare the resting energy expenditure (REE) measured using indirect calorimetry with that estimated using predictive equations in severe trauma patients to determine the appropriate caloric requirements. Methods: Patients admitted to the surgical intensive care unit between January 2020 and March 2023 were included in this study. Indirect calorimetry was used to measure the patients’ REE values. These values were subsequently compared with those estimated using predictive equations: the weight-based equation (rule of thumb, 25 kcal/kg/day), Harris-Benedict, Ireton-Jones, and the Penn State 2003 equations. Results: A total of 27 severe trauma patients were included in this study, and 47 indirect calorimetric measurements were conducted. The weight-based equation (mean difference [MD], -28.96±303.58 kcal) and the Penn State 2003 equation (MD, - 3.56±270.39 kcal) showed the closest results to REE measured by indirect calorimetry. However, the REE values estimated using the Harris-Benedict equation (MD, 156.64±276.54 kcal) and Ireton-Jones equation (MD, 250.87±332.54 kcal) displayed significant differences from those measured using indirect calorimetry. The concordance rate, which the predictive REE differs from the measured REE value within 10%, was up to 36.2%. Conclusions: The REE values estimated using predictive equations exhibited substantial differences from those measured via indirect calorimetry. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the REE value through indirect calorimetry in severe trauma patients.
