본 논문은 훈민정음의 창제 원리를 글자판의 설계에 적용한 훈민정음 글자판을 제안한다. 제안하는 글자판은 훈민정음의 자모 28글자를 자음 간에, 모음 간에, 그리고 자음과 모음 간에 서로 상관성을 가지도록 배열하였다. 즉, 자음 버튼들은 오음(五音)의 소리 별로 같은 소리의 글자들을 그룹으로 묶어 배열하였고 모음 버튼들은 자음에 붙여 쓰는 위치에 따라 자음 영역의 아래쪽과 오른쪽에 배열한 것이다. 그동안 한글 글자판들은 주로 4행 3열의 12버튼 글자판들이 많이 사용되었는데 이 글자판들은 구조적으로 터치횟수나 이동거리에서 단점을 가진다. 최근에는 쿼티나 단모음 글자판과 같이 많은 자모 버튼을 가진 글자판들도 많이 사용되고 있다. 글자판에서 제공하는 글자 버튼의 개수가 많아지면 터치횟수가 줄어든다. 그리고 글자 버튼들이 서로 상관성을 가지도록 배열되면 이동거리가 작아진다. 실험 결과는 제안하는 글자판이 터치횟수와 이동거리와 입력시간의 모든 평가 요소에서 높은 효율을 나타냄을 보여준다. This paper proposes the Hunminjungum Keypad that applied the creation principle of Hunminjungum to the design of keypad. The proposed keypad arranged 28 letters of Hunminjungum to have correlations with each other between consonants, between vowels, and between consonants and vowels. That is, Consonant buttons are arranged by grouping letters of the same sound by sounds of five voices. And the vowel buttons are arranged at the bottom and the right side of the consonant area according to the position where a vowel is attached to the consonant. In the meantime, Hangul keypads have mainly used 12 button keypads in 4 lines and 3 columns. These keypads have structurally disadvantageous in the touch count and moving distance. Recently, keypads with many letter buttons such as QWERTY and single-vowel are also used a lot. If the number of letter buttons provided in the keypad increases, touch count decreases. And If the letter buttons are arranged to have a correlation with each other, the moving distance becomes smaller. The experimental results show that the proposed keypad has high efficiency in all evaluation factors such as touch count, moving distance and input time.
The Effect of the Introduction of the Express Highspeed Railway in Korea

Purpose – In today's era of carbon neutrality, railways need to find ways to improve usability and efficiency. Accordingly, this study examines the effect of introducing express highspeed railways into the Korean public transportation system and suggests some practical guidelines. One concern in the Korea railway sector is that low scheduled speeds contrast with the highspeed railway system design. Research design, data, and methodology – Current literature and foreign cases are analyzed. Subsequently, using data from the Korean Railroad Research Institute, a benefit analysis is conducted based on expanded track capacity and the saving of time owing to the introduction of the express highspeed railway. Result – The express highspeed railway system is expected to increase the number of train lines from 262 to 348 and the scheduled speed from 168.3km/h to 192.2km/h. Considering reduced time value, the economic effect is about 80 million won per year. Conclusion – The findings suggest that the express highspeed railway is a promising option to improve efficiency and increase customer utility. This study contributes to the literature by initiating a discussion on the express system in Korea; practically, it offers railway operators guidelines for improving highspeed railway system efficiency that can be transformed into a variety of marketing options.
정책 활동과 인물 특성에 대한 인식이 정치인 이미지와 선호에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 정치인 이미지와 그 영향 요인을 통해 정치인에 대한 유권자의 선호를 설명하고자 하였다. 유권자가 상정한 정치인과 그에 대한 평가를 묻는 설문 조사 결과를 바탕으로 분석한 결과, 정치인에 대한 능력과 부패의 이미지, 정치인의 인물 특성과 정책 활동에 대한 인식을 하위 요인으로 하는 정치인에 대한 유권자의 선호를 결정하는 모형이 구성되는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 정치인 선호 결정 모형은 유권자의 성별과 정치적 성향에 따라, 대상이 되는 정치인의 성별과 중앙/지방 정치인이라는 특성에 따라 하위 요인의 영향력에 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 분석 결과는 기능 이론 연구를 수용자 관점으로 전환하였다는 이론적 함의와 정치인의 이미지 메이킹 과정에서 고려해야 할 요소를 확인하여, 그에 대한 대안을 제시하도록 하는 실무적 함의를 가지는 것으로 볼 수 있다. This study examined the influence of perceived policy activities and perceived character features on politicians’ image and preference to them. This survey study asked respondents to think of a politician and to evaluate him or her. After performing a series of analysis, this study found a good fit of the model testing the relationships among perceived policy activities and perceived character features as predisposing factors, politicians’ ability image and their corruption image as mediating factors, and respondents’ attitude towards politicians as a final endogenous factor. In addition to that, this study found that respondents’ gender, their political propensity, politicians’ gender, and politicians’ constituency are significant moderating variables. Based on the results, this study discussed scholarly implications for the functional theory of political discourse and practical implications for politician’s image PR.

<P>Photoswitching or modulation of quantum dots (QDs) can be promising for many fields that include display, memory, and super-resolution imaging. However, such modulations have mostly relied on photomodulations of conjugated molecules in QD vicinity, which typically require high power of high energy photons at UV. We report a visible light-induced facile modulation route for QD-dye conjugates. QD crystal violets conjugates (QD-CVs) were prepared and the crystal violet (CV) molecules on QD quenched the fluorescence efficiently. The fluorescence of QD-CVs showed a single cycle of emission burst as they go through three stages of (i) initially quenched off to (ii) photoactivated on as the result of chemical change of CVs induced by photoelectrons from QD and (iii) back to photodarkened off by radical-associated reactions. Multicolor on-demand photopatterning was demonstrated using QD-CV solid films. QD-CVs were introduced into cells, and excitation with visible light yielded photomodulation from off to on and off by nearly ten fold. Individual photoluminescence dynamics of QD-CVs was investigated using fluorescence correlation spectroscopy and single QD emission analysis, which revealed temporally stochastic photoactivations and photodarkenings. Exploiting the stochastic fluorescence burst of QD-CVs, simultaneous multicolor super-resolution localizations were demonstrated.</P>

This study conducted a comparative analysis of laser power feedback control by measuring the melting pool size and temperature in the Directed Energy Deposition (DED) of SUS316L, to identify the effect of a conventional melting pool monitoring system on 3D metal printing performance. In the study, a CLAMIR was used on a developing 3D metal printer to control the laser beam power by measuring the size and temperature of the melting pool using an IR camera. Test parts were built from same CAD model but under different conditions, specifically, with CLAMIR on and off. The parts were investigated three ways: by 3D scanning to measure geometric errors, CT scanning to look into pore creation and distribution, and tensile tests to analyze mechanical performance.
