e-Design 개발 업체의 업무 환경 개선을 위한 프로젝트 관리 기법 연구

최근의 급속한 인터넷 기술의 발전으로 ‘e-비즈니스 패러다임’이라는 신 기업 문화가 도입되었으며, 기업의 핵심적인 업무 프로세스들이 인터넷을 기반으로 변화되고 있다. 특히, 기업 내의 사원 사이뿐만 아니라 기업과 고객, 협력업체 사이의 쌍방향의 커뮤니케이션 기술이 비즈니스에서의 새로운 가치로 인식되고 있다. 이에 따라, 그룹웨어나 프로젝트 관리 툴과 같이 기업의 대내외적인 커뮤니케이션 채널을 통합시키는 도구들이 개발되었다. 그러나, 대부분의 상용 커뮤니케이션 툴은 대기업의 범용적인 업무 프로세스에 초점을 두고 있으므로, 중소 e-디자인 회사와 같이 소규모의 특화된 업무 프로세스를 가지는 기업에는 적용이 용이하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 중소 e-디자인 기업의 업무 프로세스를 분석하여 커뮤니케이션을 개선시키기 위한 요구 조건들을 도출하고, 이들 요구 조건들을 체계적으로 반영하여 개발한 커뮤니케이션 관리 플랫폼 을 제안한다. 제안된 플랫폼은 상대적으로 정보 시스템의 도입이 취약한 중소 e-디자인 회사의 커뮤니케이션 환경을 개선하고 프로젝트를 체계적으로 진행하는데 기여할 수 있다. Internet technologies, emerging recently, introduce a new way of businesses named e-business and transform essential business processes. Especially, mutual communications among employees, customers, and partners are being recognized as a key value in business. As a result, communication tools such as groupware and project management software have been developed to integrate internal and external communication channels. However, most commercial communication tools are not proper for small enterprises in a specific area such as small e-design companies, because they are focused on general functionalities, required by most large enterprises. In this paper, we analyze the requirements for improving communication environments of small e-design companies, and proposes an advanced communication management tool which reflects those requirements. The communication platform proposed improves the communication environment of those small e-design companies that are desperately in need of an efficient way to carry out projects, and will help in the process of successful projects.

In previous study, alkaliphilic and thermotolerant bacterium strain, Pseudomonas sp. strain G5, capable of reducing insoluble indigo was isolated from Korean traditional fermentation liquor. Here, we report the draft genome sequence and annotation of strain G5 to provide the genomic information involved in indigo reduction process.
Is HAZOP a Reliable Tool? What Improvements are Possible?

Despite many measures, still from time to time catastrophic events occur, even after reviewing potential scenarios with HAZID tools. Therefore, it is evident that in order to prevent such events, answering the question: "What can go wrong?" requires more enhanced HAZID tools. Recently, new system based approaches have been proposed, such as STPA (system-theoretic process analysis) and Blended Hazid, but for the time being for several reasons their availability for general use is very limited. However, by making use of available advanced software and technology, traditional HAZID tools can still be improved in degree of completeness of identifying possible hazards and in work time efficiency. The new HAZID methodology proposed here, the Data-based semi-Automatic HAZard IDentification (DAHAZID), seeks to identify possible scenarios with a semi-automated system approach. Based on the two traditional HAZID tools, Hazard Operability (HAZOP) Study and Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), the new method will minimize the limitations of each method. This will occur by means of a thorough systematic preparation before the tools are applied. Rather than depending on reading drawings to obtain connectivity information of process system equipment elements, this research is generating and presenting in prepopulated work sheets linked components together with all required information and space to note HAZID results. Next, this method can be integrated with proper guidelines regarding process safer design and hazard analysis. To examine its usefulness, the method will be applied to a case study.
