The numerical value of the thermal conductivity indicates how fast heat will flow in a given material. And the thermal conductivity is temperature-dependent. When the temperature was changed, the thermal conductivity of heat-treated carbon tool steel(SK_3) was obtained by experimental measurements.

The characteristic of the steady two-dimensional supersonic flow with condensation along a wavy wall of small amplitude in channel is investigated through the direct marching method of characteristics. The very complex problem that may appear where the overlapping of the same family charateristics occurs, can be satisfactorily solved by means of the modified method suggested by Zucrow. In the present study for the case of supersonic moist air flow, the dependency of location of formation and reflection of oblique shock wave generated by the wavy wall, and distributions of flow properties, on the relative humidity and temperature at the entrance of wavy wall is clarified by plots of frozen Mach number and iso-flow properties. Also, it is confirmed that the wavy wall plays an important key role in the formation of oblique shock wave, and that the effect of condensation on the flow field appears apparently.
底板이 回轉하는 密閉된 圓筒內에서의 非壓縮性 粘性流體의 速度分布

The velocity distribution of steady incompressible viscous flow in a cylinder with rotating bottom was studied numerically. Until now, in general, the stream function and vorticity have been introduced into the Navier-Stokes and continuity equations to obtain the velocity distribution in any flow field. In this paper, without using the stream function and vorticity, the Navier-Stokes and continuity equations are solved directly to obtain the velocity distribution, and the MAC(Marker and Cell) method was adopted as numerical technique. The computed numerical solutions are well agreed with previous results.
미소 진폭 파형벽을 가진 유로내에서 응축이 수반되는 초음속유동의 Prandtl-Meyer 팽창에 관한 실험적 연구

The characteristics of the Prandtl-Meyer expansion of supersonic flow with condensation through a channel with a small amplitude wavy wall are investigated experimentally. In the present study, for the case of moist air flow in the type of indraft supersonic wind tunnel, the dependency of formation and reflection locations of the oblique shock wave and the distribution of flow properties are clarified by flow visualization and pressure measurement with the variation of the specific humidity and temperature at the entrance of the wavy wall and the attack angle of the wavy wall to the main stream. Also, we confirm that the wavy wall plays an important key role in the formatio of oblique shock wave, and that the effect of condensation on the flow field appears apparently.
膨脹率이 一定한 超音速 노즐흐름에 있어서 非平衡 凝縮과 傾斜衝擊波

In the present study the case of expansion of moist air through a supersonic nozzle of constant expansion rate, which behaves similar to that of wet steam, was adopted. The effect of noneqilibrium condensation on the oblique shock wave generated by placing the wedge into the supersonic part of the nozzle was investigated. Furthermore, the variation of the condensation onset Mach number with the initial stagnation supersaturation, the relationship between noneqilibrium condensation zone and incident point of the oblique shock wave, the varation of angles of incident and reflected shock waves due to the variation of initial stagnation supersaturation, and the relationship between the height of Mach stem and initial stagnation supersaturation are discussed.

Until now, design for open hydraulic network is based on more or less arbitary selection of pipe sizes and pump heads. To determine the least cost, optimal combination of pipe sizes and pump heads is inevitable. Therefore the combination of pipe sizes and power cost are used for optimal design of hydraulic network in this present study. Presented herein are the results of efforts to develope an optimization method for the problem.

The structure of a plane turbulent wall jet was investigated experimentally. The aspect ratio of the nozzle which was used was 25.4. The measurement of mean velocity and turbulent intensity was carried out at various positions by use of a hot wire anemometer. The results showed that the mean velocity profiles were reduced to a certain profile when the nondimensional velocity, U/Um was plotted as a function of the nondimensional height, y/b_2. And it is showed that the half value distance can be represented as a linear equation of x, the distance from the nozzle exit. the turbulent intensity, u/U has the maximum value when the nondimensional height, y/b_2 is equal to 1.6 and turbulent intensity v/U has the maximum value when y/b_2 is 1.9.
外筒과 윗板이 回轉하는 二重圓筒內에서의 定常層流 流動解析

In this paper, steady laminar flow in a tank of double cylinder with rotating outer cylinder and upper disc was analyzed numerically. For simplicity, the stream function and vorticity have been introduced into the Navier-Stokes and the continuity equations. The transformed governing equations were converted into the fimite difference equations which were solved numerically by ADI (Alternating direction implicit) and SUR (Successive under relaxation) method.
1. 06㎛ Nd : YAG Laser를 이용한 요추간판탈출증의 경피적 수핵감압술

The 1.06㎛ Neodymium-YAG Laser(800 micron hemisherical) is revealed a useful tool for percutaneous laser disc decompression(PLDD). Especially PLDD would be applied to the management of lumbar disc herniation with minimal intervention. Total irradiated energy to one level of disc space was bout 1000 to 2000 joules. We performed this method at 10 levels, in 7 cases of patients, consisting of 4 males and 3 females with an average age of 37.7 years. Five cases showed excellent and good results, were observed. In two cases, open surgery was required because of unsatisfactory results. The best results were obtained in the protrusion type of disc herniation. We have summarized some advantages of PLDD: a) safe and simple procedure in an outpatient setting, b) avoiding general anesthesia, late spinal instability, c) possibility of repetitive use.
