Cisapride가 금식기 담낭의 수축운동에 어떤 영향을 미치는가?

Cisapride의 식사후 담낭의 수축운동에 대한 영향을 규명하고자 20-30대의 건강인 12명(남자 6명, 여자 6명)을 대상으로 placebo, cisapride 10㎎ 혹은 20㎎을 경구복용한 후 담낭체적의 변화를 초음파로 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. Placebo를 복용한 군에서는 검사기간중 완만한 체적의 변동이 있었으나, cisapride를 복용한 후에는 담낭체적이 지속적으로 현저하게 증가되었다. 이러한 담낭체적의 증가는 placebo를 복용한 군과 비교해 볼 때, cisapride 10㎎을 복용한 군에서는 60분후부터, 20㎎을 복용한 군에서는 50분후부터 통계학적 유의성이 있었으며(p<0.05), 이러한 경향은 검사종료시까지 지속되었다. 그리고 최대체적은 cisapride 10㎎을 복용한 군에서는 120분후에 최초체적의 145%에, cisapride 20㎎을 복용한 군에서는 90분후에 최초체적의 162%에 도달하였다(Fig. 2). 한편 체적곡선 아래의 면적은 cisapride 10㎎을 복용한 군은 31325 ±2518, 20㎎을 복용한 군은 33355 ±4726로, placebo를 복용한 군(23510 ±2864)보다 유의하게 컸다(p<0.05) 이상의 결과에서 cisapride의 경구섭취는 금식기 담낭의 수축운동을 억제하는 이완효과가 있음을 알 수있었다. 그리고 이러한 담낭수축억제효과는 장기간 cisapride를 복용하는 환자에서 담석형성이 촉진되는 효과가 있을 수 있고, 반대로 담석존재시 선통 발작을 억제하거나 예방하는 효과가 있을 수도 있다는 것을 시사한다. Cisapride(C23H29CIFN304) is one of the well-known prokinetic agents. It operates upon whole gastrointestinal tract, from lower esophageal sphincter to anal sphincter, and holds the most promise for patients with colonic motility disorders. It is known to function as an indirect cholinergic stimulant through increased release of acetylcholine in the intramural plexuses. Unlike metoclopramide, it does not have the antidopaminergic effects on the central nervous system. But its effect on the biliary system is not clearly elucidated. This study was performed in 12 healthy volunteers, and focused on the change of gallbladder volume after cisapride ingestion during fasting period. With the interval of 2-4days, placebo, 10㎎ or 20㎎ of cisapride were given. Cisapride inhibited the contraction of gallbladder compared with placebo. The results suggest that cisapride can induces the possible cholelithiasis, but, on the other hand, it can be used as the possible spasmolytic agent in the gallstone disease.

旣成服 製作에 필요한 우리나라 女性의 體型分類를 目的으로 1,108名의 25세~60세 이상의 旣婚女性을 對象으로 11部位의 値數를 計側하여 그 分布를 究明하였다. 옷의 種類에 따라 體型을 分類하였고, 옷의 種類에 따라 부위의 치수를 측정하여 年齡別 平均置와 標準偏差를 구하고 相關關係를 구하였다. 본문의 <표 17,18,19>에서 옷의 종류별, 體型別 衣服製作 個數를 表示하면 <표21>과 같다. This study is done as one of the serials of "Study on the Distribution of size Korean Woman for Ready-made Clothes." 11items of 1,108 Korean married women from 25 to 60 years of ages that were grouped in 7 classes were maesured. In results of Analysis of the measureing data, the grading and distribution of cloth size obtaioned as follows.

We propose SKKU Multimedia Distance Education System for distance education between nature science campus(Suwon) and social science campus(Seoul) in Sung Kyun Kwan University on DooRae (Distributed Object Oriented Multimedia Application Crafting Environment for Collaboration) framework (or platform). We support ONE : N study mode for a group lecture and discussion between two campus, and also we support mediation for floor mode of a group lecture and brain storming for floor mode of discussion. The communication portocol of this system is composed of TCP/IP and UDP, and the network type is composed of WAN(El line)for between the Suwon campus and Seoul campus, ATM LAN for each campus(local site). And, this system supports the application development of the collaborative multimedia environment connected with the various network in the CBM (Computer based Multimedia) based. Also, it does not restrict on space between a teacher(s) and a student(s) into cyberspace which made by network. This system has an interaction, late comer, a question and an answer, multi-session, application sharing and whiteboard which resembles chalkboard. Also, various supplementary functions such as video conference and voice conference for this system are what makes face-to-face education effective. Also it supports real or non-real type. The operation system developed on windows 95.

Plants produce chemicals of immense diversity that provide great opportunities for development of new antifungal compounds. In search for environmentfriendly alternatives to the fungicide of current use, we screened plant extracts obtained from more than eight hundred plant materials collected in Korea for their antifungal activity against the model plant pathogenic fungus, Magnaporthe oryzae. This initial screening identified antifungal activities from the eleven plant extract samples, among which nine showed reproducibility in the follow-up screening. These nine samples were able to suppress not only M. oryzae but also other fungal pathogens. Interestingly, the plant extracts obtained from Actinostemma lobatum comprised five out of eight samples, and were the most effective in their antifungal activity. We found that butanol fraction of the A. lobatum extract is the most potent. Identification and characterization of antifungal substances in the A. lobatum extracts would provide the promising lead compounds for new fungicide.

<P>We compare the strain states and device performances of GaN-based blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs) grown on Si(111) and sapphire substrates. The strain characteristics are investigated using micro-Raman spectroscopy and high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. These analyses reveal that GaN layer grown on Si has a residual tensile strain in contrast to a compressive strain for GaN on sapphire, and quantum wells (QWs) on GaN/Si experience reduced lattice mismatch than those of GaN/sapphire. When external quantum efficiencies of LED on sapphire and Si substrates are compared, the LED on Si shows better efficiency droop characteristics and this is attributed to a decrease in piezo-electric field strength in InGaN/GaN layers owing to reduced lattice mismatch.</P>

A moderately halophilic, Gram-negative bacterium, strain BH539^(T), which was isolated from a solar saltern at Taean in Korea, was considered to be a member of the genus Halomonas. Strain BH539^(T) grew at salinities of 1-25% (w/v) and at temperatures of 10-45 ℃. Cells were short rods that were motile by means of several flagella. Their major fatty acids were C_(18:1)ω7c, C_(16:0) and C_(19:0) cyclo ω8c. The genomic DNA G+C content was about 65 mol% and the predominant ubiquinone was Q-9. Phylogenetic analyses based on 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that the isolate formed a branch of the species Cobetia marina. However, 23S and 16S rRNA gene sequence similarities revealed that strain BH539^(T) was related more closely to the type strains of the genus Halomonas. Phylogenetic analyses based on 23S rRNA gene sequences also indicated that the strain formed a phyletic line within the genus Halomonas. Therefore, it was concluded that strain BH539^(T) should be classified within the genus Halomonas, rather than Cobetia. On the basis of physiological and molecular properties, strain BH539^(T) represents a novel species of the genus Halomonas, for which the name Halomonas taeanensis sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is BH539^(T) (=KCTC 12284^(T)=DSM 16463^(T)).

<P>Nonequilibrium deposition is a remarkable method for the in situ growth of unique nanostructures and phases for the functionalization of thin films. We introduce a distinctive structure of a mixed-phase, composed of BiVO<SUB>4</SUB> and β-Bi<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>, for photoelectrochemical water splitting. The mixed-phase is fabricated via nonequilibrium deposition by adjusted oxygen partial pressure. According to density functional theory calculations, we find that vanadium exsolution can be facilitated by introducing oxygen vacancies, enabling the fabrication of a nanostructured mixed-phase. These unique structures enhance charge migration by increasing the interfacial area and properly aligning the band offset between two crystalline phases. Consequently, the photocurrent density of the nanostructured mixed-phase thin films is about twice that of pristine BiVO<SUB>4</SUB> thin films at 1.23 V<SUB>RHE</SUB>. Our work suggests that nonequilibrium deposition provides an innovative route for the structural engineering of photoelectrodes for the understanding of fundamental properties and improving the photocatalytic performance for solar water splitting.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

<P>Interferon-γ release assays (IGRAs) have been incorporated into several national guidelines for latent TB infection (LTBI) diagnosis. However, their optimal application is still controversial and evolving. The aim of this study is to evaluate the performance of confirmatory IGRAs in addition to tuberculin skin tests (TSTs) in high school students with TST-positive (TST+) results who have had contact with another student who had TB (referred to in this article as 'contacts') in TB outbreaks in a high BCG-vaccinated population.</P>
