Model-dependent Scheduling and H-infinity Control Co-design for Networked Control Systems

In this paper, a novel model-dependent scheduling scheme is proposed for the networked control systems with time-delay, disturbance, and medium access constraints. The scheduler calculates the error between the ideal dynamic and the real system, and selects the states that make the stability of the system better to access the network. In addition, two kinds of representative time-delays in the networked control systems, constant time-delay and random time-delay, are considered. A robust H-infinity and switched-system-based co-design strategy is introduced to deal with the disturbance in the system, and the system uncertainty introduced by the random time-delay as well. Finally, illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectivity of the proposed scheduling method and the co-design scheme.

<B>Abstract</B><P>Iron is an essential trace element that plays important roles in the cellular function of all organs and systems. However, the function of Fe(II) in mammalian embryo development is unknown. In this study, we investigated the role of Fe(II) during preimplantation embryo development. Depletion of Fe(II) using thiosemicarbazone-24 (TSC24), a specific Fe(II) chelator, rescued quenching of the Fe(II)-sensitive fluorophore phen green-SK. After <I>in vitro</I> fertilization, TSC24 significantly reduced the cleavage rate as well as blastocyst formation. The hatch rate of blastocysts was also reduced with 1 pM TSC24 treatment (20.25±1.86 versus 42.28±12.96%, <I>p</I><0.05). Blastocysts were cultured in leukemia inhibitory factor-free mouse embryonic stem cell culture medium with or without TSC24, and those with depleted Fe(II) displayed delayed attachment and lost the ability to induce embryoid body formation. To further explore the mechanism of Fe(II) in embryo development, we assessed the expression of 5-hydroxymethylcytosine (5hmC) and OCT4 in the pronuclear and blastocyst stages, respectively. We observed that Fe(II) reduced 5hmC and OCT4 expression, which could be explained by low ten-eleven translocation (TET) enzyme activity induced by TSC24 treatment. These findings demonstrate that Fe(II) is required for mammalian embryo development and that it facilitates the process via regulation of TET activity.</P>

The complexity of macro-fiber composite (MFC) materials increasing the difficulty in simulation and analysis of MFC integrated structures. To give an accurate prediction of MFC bonded smart structures for the simulation of shape and vibration control, the paper develops a linear electro-mechanically coupled static and dynamic finite element (FE) models based on the first-order shear deformation (FOSD) hypothesis. Two different types of MFCs are modeled and analyzed, namely MFC-d31 and MFC-d33, in which the former one is dominated by the d31 effect, while the latter one by the d33 effect. The present model is first applied to an MFC-d33 bonded composite plate, and then is used to analyze both active shape and vibration control for MFC-d31/-d33 bonded plate with various piezoelectric fiber orientations.

Backgrounds: Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), as an endocrine-disrupting chemical (EDC), is widely used in plasticizer and other productions. Ubiquitous human exposure to DEHP has been proposed to be a potential risk to public health. Developmental exposure to DEHP could alter epigenetic programming and result in adult-onset disease. Methods: In this study, we investigated whether DEHP exposure to pregnant mice affected epigenetic changes as a result of increase in breast cancer incidence. Results: Our results showed that the expression of total 143 epigenetics-related genes in mammary gland cells, have no significantly altered after short time and low-dose treated with DEHP from 0.5 days post-coitum (dpc) to 3.5 dpc of pregnant mice. DNA methylation status of some neoplastic development genes, such as EGFr, Esr1, Pgr, Fos and Rassf5 also had no obvious change. Conclusion: These finding showed no impact of DEHP on the expressive patterns of epigenetics-related genes and DNA methylation of breast cancer-related genes in pregnant mouse mammary gland cells.
Artificial control maturation of porcine oocyte by dibutyryl cyclicAMP

<P>In this study, we investigated the effects of various durations of dibutyryl cyclic AMP (dbcAMP) treatment on the in vitro maturation (IVM) and subsequent development of parthenogenetically activated embryos. Immature porcine oocytes were cultured with or without 1 mM dbcAMP during the first 20, 28, or 36 h of culture, and then incubated for an additional 24 h without dbcAMP. The expression of <I>Wee1B, Myt</I>, and <I>Cdc25B</I> and the level of maturation promoting factor (MPF) in metaphase II oocytes were analyzed by real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), respectively. The distribution of actin microfilaments in oocytes was also assessed. Subsequently, apoptotic cells in blastocysts from each group were visualized by transferase-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling staining. Results showed that oocytes extruded the first polar body between 12 and 18 h after being released from dbcAMP. MPF activity in oocytes at 28 + 24 h and 36 + 24 h after dbcAMP treatment was higher than that in the control group. Significantly more blastocysts were present among embryos in 28 + 24 h (54.28% vs. 39.11%, <I>P</I> < 0.05) and 36 + 24 h (47.24% vs. 32.94%, <I>P</I> < 0.05) groups than among embryos cultured in the absence of dbcAMP. However, the number of total and apoptotic cells was not significantly different between groups. The distribution of actin microfilaments was abnormal in oocytes cultured for 60 h without dbcAMP. In addition, the expression of <I>Wee1B, Myt</I>, and <I>Cdc25B</I> was higher in the control group at 44 h than in the dbcAMP group, but there were no differences in expression at the other time points. In conclusion, dbcAMP treatment delays oocyte maturation and maintains oocyte quality.</P>

본 논문은 구조 의미 분석의 방법으로 중국어 사유 동사의 의미 체계를 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 인간의 인지 행위를 나타내는 심리활동 동사 가운데서 기본 의미가 `인지 주체인 인간이 인지 대상이나 인지 내용에 대해 생각하다`의 기본 의미를 나타내는 동사무리들을 하나의 의미 영역으로 묶어 연구 대상 목록을 확정한다. 다음 어휘 의미 분석의 방법론을 적용하여 사유 동사 의미 분석의 내용을 제시하며 이를 기반으로 개별 사유 동사의 의미 자질을 추출한다. 마지막은 개별 사유 동사의 의미 자질을 기반으로 중국어 사유 동사 의미 체계를 제시한다. 본 논문은 김민수(1981:32)에서 비롯되어 최호철(1993, 1995)을 뒤이어 남경완(2005, 2008), 김혜령(2015)로 이어지는 구조조의 어휘 분석의 연구 방법론을 수용하여 중국어 사유 동사에 맞게 조절하여 의미 분석의 내용을 제시하고 개별 사유 동사의 의미 성분을 분석하여 한국어 사유 동사의 의미 체계를 제시했다는 점에서 그 의의를 갖는다. This study aims to establish the semantic system of Chinese thought verbs through structural semantic analysis. We grouped verbs meaning “man, the subject of cognition, thinking of the object of cognition” among the mental verbs into one semantic domain and made the list of thought verbs first, then we established the semantic system through setting semantic features of the verbs according to the results of semantic analysis. this study utilized the theories of lexical semantic analysis of Korean into modern Chinese thought verbs, and established the semantic system of them.

본 논문에서는 구조 의미 분석의 방법론에 근거하여 중국어와 한국어 심리동사 체계 안에서 '인간의 인지적 판단 행위'를 표상하는 동사들을 하나의 의미 영역으로 묶어 그 기본 의미를 분석하고 이를 기반으로 중국어와 한국어 ‘판단'류 동사의 의미 체계를 대조 분석하여 공통점과 차이점을 제시하는 것을 연구 목적으로 한다. This paper aims to contrast the semantic system of judgement verbs in the Chinese and Korean language from the perspective of structural semantics using lexical analysis. To this end, verbs implying ‘cognitive judgement’, among psych verbs, are grouped as a disctinct semantic domain of "Judgement Verbs". Then its basic meaning is analyzed and argument restriction and selectional restriction are examined focusing on collocation to perform contrastive analysis on its semantic system showing similairties and differences between Chinese and Korean judgement verbs.
