      • NAC-5의 Sensitizer로서의 정량적 감광특성 연구

        NAC-5(Naphthoquinone-1,2-diazide sulfonyl chloride), as an additive,was applied to enhance the photosensitive rate in composing a positive type of photoresist with naphthoquinone diazide derivative. Quantitative unit of energy absorotion of NAC-5 based on molar weight using 365 nm optical pattern generator was measured to estimate the availability as a role of photoinitiator or an improvement agent for photochemical reaction. Comparing with the ester compound of NAC-5 with THBP(trihydroxybenzophenone) the rate of energy absorption of NAC-5 in the given range of UV light exposure was greater then that of THBP-ester of naphthoquinone diazide. Conclusively, NAC-5 was regarded as superior in photosensitivity.

      • PET 표면의 TiO_(2) 도포에 의한 친수화 연구

        산화 금속의 얇은 막을 졸-겔 방법으로 폴리에스터 필름 상에 도포하여 표면의 친수성을 물접촉 각으로 측정하였다. 폴리에스터 필름의 표면 친수성은 이산화티타늄의 광촉매 활성에 의해 증진되었다. 바인더로 사용되는 젤라틴, 라텍스와 같은 친수성 고분자는 수분을 받아들여 친수화를 이루기에 장점을 지닌 반면, 폴리에스터 표면과의 부착력 강화에는 단점을 가지고 있다. 실란은 무기물 입자를 폴리에스터 표면에 부착시키기 위한 바인더로 사용되었으며 바인더로서의 기능을 어느 정도 보여주었다. 결과적으로 바인더의 선택이 폴리에스터와 이산화금속의 부착에 중요한 역할을 함을 알 수 있었다. Water contact angle of the polyester film coated by thin metal oxide, which was prepared via the sol-gel method, was measured to evaluate the surface hydrophilicity. Surface hydriphilicity of the polyester film was enhanced due to the photocatalytic activity of the titanium dioxide. Concerning to hydrophilic polymers like gelatin and latex, those chemicals were positive in moisture capture, but in negative in adhesiveness. Silane was used as a binder of the inorganic particles to the polyester film and was shown to be not poor. Other binders - e.g., gelatin, polyurethane primer(alkyd resin type), and etc. - are useful to bridge (or hybrid) polyester with metal oxide. Enhancement of the hydrophilic characteristics of the surface treated polymer substrate was shown in positive in this experiment. As a result, the binder property might be of importance in hybriding polyester with metal oxide.

        Solvolysis reaction was observed to proceed the esterification of cinnamoyl chloride and water-based cellulose reaction system. A negative type photoresist might be produced including a side product of HCl, in theory. Ethyl alcohol(or methyl alcohol) was added to intermix the two separated reactant solutions which were composed of a reactant and a solvent in each liquid phase, i.e., cinnamoyl chloride in toluene and HEC(hydroxyethyl cellulose) in water. As a result, a negative type photoresist was obtained and some amount of solvolysis was inevitable.

        Patterning of microlines using dry film resist(DFR) was conducted to make a micro-circuit fabrication for flexible printed circuit board(FPCB). Micro-circuit patterns formed on a flexible thin copper plate were compared with each other in terms of developing and etching for micro-circuit fabrication. When DFR was used for the formation of micro-lines, the limit of line size for patterning, the threshold, was 50㎛.

      • 수산화알루미늄 인산염의 난연 특성

        수산화알루미늄과 인산을 반응시켜 수산화알루미늄 인산염을 합성하고 이의 난연 특성을 측정하였다. 수산화알루미늄 인산염은 수산화알루미늄과 인산의 반응에서 다양한 반응 몰 비로 염이 형성될 수 있으며, 염의 구성비에 따라 열분해 현상에 차이가 발생하였다. 수산화알루미늄은 난연 소재의 하나로 이용되고 있고, 인산은 유기물 인산을 형성하여 다양한 유기 인산계 난연 소재로 적용되고 있다. 본 연구 결과에서 수산화알루미늄과 인산의 반응으로 형성된 수산화알루미늄 인산염은 무기물 난연 소재가 가지는 장점뿐만 아니라, 수산화알루미늄 자체의 난연 특성과 인산이 가지는 난연 특성을 공유하는 상승효과를 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. Aluminum hydroxide phosphate was synthesized by means of a salt reaction of aluminum hydroxide and phosphoric acid, thereafter the characteristics of the salt, as a flame retardant, was measured. Various salt compositions were produced in accordance with the mole combinations of two reactants. Aluminum hydroxide is used for a common inorganic flame retardant and phosphoric acid is also used for a part of organic phosphoric compound as an organic flame retardant, respectively. From the result of this study, the aluminum hydroxide phosphate salt has not only the merit of its property of the inorganic compound, but also the synergistic effect of each characters, i.e. flame retardants, in terms of aluminum hydroxide and phosphoric acid.

        하청 근로자들의 건강수준 평가

        목 적 : 하청노동을 이용한 노동 유연화 전략은 근로자들의 고용을 불안정시키고, 근로자들의 삶에 부정적 영향을 미치고 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 하청업체 근로자들의 고용현황을 조사하고, 기존의 업체중심의 건강평가의 문제점을 지적하고자 하였다. 또한 하청업체 근로자들의 건강평가의 현재적 의미와 사회적 배제의 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 모기업과 하청업체 근로자들의 건강수준을 비교하기 위하여, 정기건강진단(일반, 특수)과 채용건강진단 자료를 이용하고자 하였다. 건강진단에서 누락된 비정규직을 포괄하기 위하여 SF-36을 이용하여 건강설문조사를 시행하였다.결 과 : 조선업 하청업체 근로자들의 고용기간은 짧고, 빈번한 노동이동 현상을 보였다. 3년간 건강진단 수검 현황을 통해 살펴볼 때, 1998년 수검자중 2000년까지 연속해서 검진 받은 수검자는 40.3%였다. 건강진단 결과 유소견자 규모를 통해 모기업과 하청업체간의 건강수준을 비교해 보았다. 모기업은 일반질병 요관찰자와 질병자를 포함한 유소견자가 1,011명으로 약 10 %의 유소견율을 보이고 있고, 질병자의 경우 596명으로 유병률이 5 %를 상회하고 있다. 반면 하청업체의 경우 1,967명의 수검자중 유소견자가 115명으로 6 %의 유소견율을 보이고있고, 질병자는 82명으로 4 %의 유병률을 보이고있다 채용건강진단을 받은 수검자는 6,260명 이었으며, 이 중 유소견자 수는 2,373명으로 전체 수검자의 37.9 %를 차지하였다. 건강설문지의 경우는 전체 건강수준의 총합은 하청보다 원청 근로자가 높았고 통계적으로 유의하였다. 결 론' 정기건강검진 결과는 하청근로자들이 고용형태에 따라 검진을 받지 못한 경우가 많아, 건강 근로자 효과로 표현될 가능성이 있다. 따라서 채용건강진단 결과는 다른 측면에서 하청업체 근로자들의 건강수준의 현실적 반영이라고 할 수 있다. 향후 하청업체 근로자들의 건강문제를 감시하고 개선하려면 기존의 업체 중심의 접근으로는 하청 근로자의 건강문제를 제대로 다룰 수 없고, 업종과 지역을 동시에 고려하여 접근할 필요가 있다. 또한 단기 고용 근로자 및 비정규직 근로자를 사회보장의 확충과 모기업의 연대책임 강화 및 기업복지 차원에서 포괄하는 방안이 모색되어야 하겠다. Objectives : The strategy for the labor flexibility through subcontracted labor have brought a negative effect on the lives of the workers, such as the increase of the unstable employment. This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between the employment of subcontracted firms and the health status of them, and to find out some problems which have been caused in the process of health evaluation and the characteristics of social exclusion. Methods : We reviewed the periodical health examination and preemployment health examination in order to compare health status of the subcontracted workers with those of the parent firm workers. The SF-36 questionnaire was administered to assess the self-perceived health status. Results : The result shows that compared to the working duration of the parent firm workers, those of the subcontracted workers were shorter, and the job transfer rate was higher. In the periodical health examination, the prevalence of occupational and general disease was higher in the parent firm(10%) than in the subcontracted firms(6%). Preemployment health examination plays an important role in worker's health manage- ment. Among 6,260 workers who received preemployment health examination, the prevalence of disease was 37.9%. Mean scores of health status measured by SF-36 were lower in the subcontracted firm than in the parent firm. Conclusions : Due to social exclusion of the subcontracted workers from the periodical health examination, there is a possibility that the periodical health examination have the healthy worker effect. These results suggests that the preemployment health examination could be a more appropriate indicator which is able to assess the health status of the subcontracted workers than the periodical health examination.

      • Cinnamoyl chloride와 PEI 수지를 이용한 감광성 고분자 합성 연구

        Derivative of CC(cinnamoyl chloride) and PEI(polyethyleneimine) were selected to make photochemicals for patterning(lithography) of a flexible substrate. Crosslinking are formed by photoaddition between an excited cinnamoyl group of one PEI cinnamate chain with that of a ground state cinnamoyl group belong to another. At UV 254㎚(max UV280㎚) absorbance PEI cinnamate was crosslinked, as a result of that, a phenomenon of the solubility decrease was appeared.

        Hydride bed control: Understanding of hydride bed using tank efflux

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Control of dehydriding (desorption of hydrogen or hydrogen isotope) rate from a hydride bed in fusion fuel cycle is one important design point to estimate a real supplying amount of hydrogen from the hydride bed. In a real system tens of batch-type hydride beds are to be utilized for supplying a certain amount of hydrogen isotope at the same time. A study on efflux time from a hydraulic water tank was applied as a fundamental similarity test of the gas fueling system. As a result, liquid efflux from a tank shows a similar behavior with the desorption pattern of the depleted uranium hydride bed system. As much important as keeping a hydride buffer vessel pressure in a hydride bed system, similar tendency was studied in the tank efflux system; i.e., to keep the secondary vessel height there needs a certain amount of liquid flow from the upper tank and the tank height difference. From one tank with connected another tank flow with understanding of tank efflux model a complicated multi-tanks behavior could be understood by simulating its complex efflux characteristics, and it is likely to be applied to the multi-hydride beds system.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Understanding of dehydriding from a hydride bed using tank efflux. </LI> <LI> Similar pattern shows between depleted uranium dehydriding and liquid efflux. </LI> <LI> Supplying a stable fueling rate is of importance to keep the secondary buffer level. </LI> <LI> Dehydriding behavior in multi-hydride bed was studied using multi-tank efflux. </LI> <LI> Multi-efflux seems to be substituted for control study on multi-dehydriding system. </LI> </UL> </P>

        A Study of the Consecutive Absorption/Desorption Cycles of ZrCo–H<sub>2</sub> System

        <P>Consecutive absorption/desorption cycles of the ZrCo-H-2 system were studied to simulate the real International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) hydrogen getter system. A ZrCo getter was used in this paper instead of the depleted uranium (DU) getter material, which has been recently considered as the hydrogen getter in ITER. In a cyclic pressure-composition isotherm (PCI) measurement, the high-pressure Sievert apparatus seems impractical to describe the equilibrium state of the ZrCo-H-2 system in detail, especially for the desorption stage. This high-pressure PCI apparatus, however, shows cause and effect well, from the previous getter state to the following state in presenting hydriding/dehydriding performance. In case of the ZrCo-H-2 system or in case of the DU-H-2 system having multiple getter bed battery, a similar affection by previous getter status might be related and a similar aspect could be shown to consider further ITER design; for example, a need for control logic from PCI measurements using a high-pressure Sievert apparatus.</P>
