Analysis of in situ performance of rooftop PV system in Seoul, South Korea

        Singh Ravneet,Nam A. Young,박종준,김영일 대한설비공학회 2023 International Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refr Vol.31 No.1

This paper presents a study of a 98.1 kW-PV system facing south at an inclined angle of 15º on the roof of a university building in Seoul, South Korea (latitude 37.63° N and longitude 127.1° E). The system performance was analyzed for 2 years from Sep. 2015 to Aug. 2017. The average electrical power output was 0.59 kWh/(m 2 ·day) with a 16.9% average annual efficiency for the 1st year which further decreased to 0.58 kWh/(m 2 ·day) with average annual efficiency of 17.6% in the 2nd year. The annual irradiance was 3.50 kWh/(m 2 ·day) for the 1st year and 3.31 kWh/(m 2 ·day) for the 2nd year with a total annual output generation of 105.4 MWh and 103.5 MWh, respectively. Average daily power generations were 2.93 and 2.89 kWh/(kWp·day) for 2 years, respectively, with an annual performance ratio range of 80 ~ 90%. Predicted module temperatures show a good correlation with measured temperatures. Predicted and measured output values show a strong correlation. During the 1st year at a maximum module temperature of 60ºC, power output loss was found to be 13.3%, while in the 2nd year at a maximum module temperature of 57ºC, the power output loss observed was 12.2%.

Prospects and Challenges of Social Media Marketing: Study of Indian Management Institutes

Ravneet Singh Bhandari,Sanjeev Bansal 한국유통과학회 2018 Asian Journal of Business Environment (AJBE) Vol.8 No.4

Purpose – The research aimed to reveal real decisional behavioral of management institutes in India for social media marketing usage, and analyses of empirical elements of social media consumption pattern. Research design, data, and methodology – The investigation was based around a research methodology using quantitative analysis with appropriate statistical techniques on random surveys of consumers, detailed exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses are applied to assess the empirical validity of the model and multiple regression employed using R studio edition to validate the reliability of the developed models. Results – A new conceptual framework is proposed – the management institutions decision model, providing a tool for effective and more focused decision-making strategies for developing better utilization techniques for social media. Management institutions have different requirements based upon objectives and resources available. The evidence suggests that the administrators need to be more aware of consumer indicators when targeting and designing social media marketing strategy. Conclusions – The research was based on samples and not the entire population of target consumers, providing limitations. As an inferential statistical method was chosen, the results might be susceptible to inaccuracy. The model developed from different age users, thereby providing rich perspectives into social media usage pattern.

Pay Per Click Marketing Strategies: A Review of Empirical Evidence

Ravneet Singh Bhandari 한국유통과학회 2017 The Journal of Industrial Distribution & Business( Vol.8 No.6

Purpose - Today’s world revolves around search engines which are the driving force behind any marketer. The thirst for marketing has led to the evolution of online ‘Pay per click’ over last few years and is the most widely used instrument. Research design, data, and methodology - Exploratory research design highlights many marketing variables getting affected by pay per click marketing. To analyze the said phenomenon, the data was gathered through questionnaire from the sample of 338 respondents which were selected by simple random sampling method mostly from the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi in India. The data collected from the respondents was loaded on SAS base for exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results - Pay per click as a marketing tool has significant impact on the consumers. The most prominent factors of pay per click marketing identified in the research are Ad quality, Competition, Targeting, Trend and Budget. Conclusions - Organic as well as inorganic ads, keeping in mind the end goal to gage the exchange of these two postings in the marked look territory. Additionally, here we dissected supported pursuit promotions in all. It would be beneficial to break down the impact of promotion position on the pay per click marketing.

An integrated review on new targets in the treatment of neuropathic pain

Khangura, Ravneet Kaur,Sharma, Jasmine,Bali, Anjana,Singh, Nirmal,Jaggi, Amteshwar Singh The Korean Society of Pharmacology 2019 The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology Vol.23 No.1

Neuropathic pain is a complex chronic pain state caused by the dysfunction of somatosensory nervous system, and it affects the millions of people worldwide. At present, there are very few medical treatments available for neuropathic pain management and the intolerable side effects of medications may further worsen the symptoms. Despite the presence of profound knowledge that delineates the pathophysiology and mechanisms leading to neuropathic pain, the unmet clinical needs demand more research in this field that would ultimately assist to ameliorate the pain conditions. Efforts are being made globally to explore and understand the basic molecular mechanisms responsible for somatosensory dysfunction in preclinical pain models. The present review highlights some of the novel molecular targets like D-amino acid oxidase, endoplasmic reticulum stress receptors, sigma receptors, hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide-gated cation channels, histone deacetylase, $Wnt/{\beta}-catenin$ and Wnt/Ryk, ephrins and Eph receptor tyrosine kinase, Cdh-1 and mitochondrial ATPase that are implicated in the induction of neuropathic pain. Studies conducted on the different animal models and observed results have been summarized with an aim to facilitate the efforts made in the drug discovery. The diligent analysis and exploitation of these targets may help in the identification of some promising therapies that can better manage neuropathic pain and improve the health of patients.

      • Thermal aware Internet of Things Enable Energy Efficient Encoder Design for Security on FPGA

        Deepa Singh,Kanika Garg,Ravneet Singh,Bishwajeet Pandey,Kartik Kalia,Hasmatullah Noori 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.6

In this work, we are going to use thermal aware approach in Encoder design and also testing thermal stability by working on different ambient temperatures 298.15K, 308.15K, 318.15K, 328,15K, 338.15K and 348.15K and 358.15K. We have observe the compatibility of our device with wireless network by working on different I/O standards (LVCMOS15 and LVCMOS25) . There is 30.29% reduction in leakage power, when we scale down temperature from 358.15K to 298.15K using LVCMOS15 as I/O standard on 40nm Virtex FPGA. Leakage power is calculated for 65nm FPGA and 90nm FPGA as well .In this work, we are using Verilog Hardware Description Language.
