To explore novel and potent compounds with anticancer activity, two series of 1H-1,2,3-triazole tethered dibenzosuberane conjugates (5a-i and 5j-n) were synthesized using a linear and convergent approach. The synthesized novel compounds were screened for their in vitro antiproliferative activity against HepG2 cell lines using the MTT assay to explore their binding interactions with the 5EQG protein. IC50 values revealed that the most active combination against HepG2 cell lines was triazole tethered with an ortho chloro-substituted aryl ring (5g) (IC50: 99.64 μg/mL). The other compounds in the series exhibited comparable cytotoxic activities against HepG2 cell lines. The results were substantiated by molecular docking studies. The majority of the compounds demonstrated high binding affinity for the active site of the targeted protein. In addition, in silico drug-likeness prediction by the ADMET method has been explored with these compounds. All synthesized novel derivatives were characterized by mass spectrometry, infrared spectroscopy, 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, and 13C-NMR spectroscopy.
Estimating Normalized Attention of Viewers on Account of Relative Visual Saliency of Faces (NRVS)
Ravi kant kumar,Jogendra Garain,Goutam Sanyal,Dakshina Ranjan Kisku 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Software Engineering and Vol.9 No.7
Humans psychological and behavioral understanding often lead to make natural decision which accurately identifies and remembers the faces which are highly appreciated or criticized by themselves in comparing to the normal viewed faces, in terms of beauty, ugliness or unique appearance. It happens due to human psychology of being biased towards the salient face in the process of face recognition and identification. This paper attempts a novel method to measure, how our attention is more restricted towards some particular faces in the crowd. This restricted attention is strongly guided by the relative visual saliency of these faces. In this paper, normalized relative visual saliency (NVRS) of the faces is evaluated using their intensity values modulated with respective spatial distance. Experiment has been carried out on test image dataset via bottom up approach. The experimental results are found to be encouraging and accuracy has also been measured exhibiting efficacy of the proposed approach.

MgO-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposites (NCs) were synthesized by a simple two-step chemical method. The microstructure, surface morphology, and composition of the prepared samples have been studied. X-ray diffractometer (XRD) analysis confirmed the crystalline cubic MgO nanoparticle and rGO sheets. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) showed the spherical MgO nanoparticles well dispersed over the graphene sheets. UV–visible spectroscopy analysis demonstrated that a red shift in the wavelength dependent absorbance curve. The band gap of the samples was found to be decreased with the increase of rGO content. The dielectric studies have been examined in the frequency range 500 Hz− 5 MHz and found significant improvement in the dielectric constant, dielectric loss, and electric properties due to rGO addition. This is mainly attributed to the strong interfacial polarization (Maxwell–Wagner polarization) between MgO and rGO sheets. Further, the modulation of charge carrier density with rGO additions help to enhance the electrical conductivity of NCs and thus, encouraging to have wider application in electronic and energy technologies.
Raymond de Vieussens (1641-1715): connoisseur of cardiologic anatomy and pathological forms thereof
Sanjib Kumar Ghosh,Ananya Priya,Ravi Kant Narayan 대한해부학회 2021 Anatomy & Cell Biology Vol.54 No.4
Raymond de Vieussens was an exemplary anatomist who made seminal contributions in the field of cardiology. During initial part of his academic career, he adopted human dissection based experiments as medium of his research. This was in accordance with prevailing trend among anatomists during 17th century. He discovered the presence of tiny venous tributaries communicating between cardiac veins and chambers of heart (ducti carnosi/venae cordis minimae). He reported the existence of a collateral circulatory pathway between right and left coronary arterial systems (Vieussens arterial ring). He was the first to note the valve at the junction of great cardiac vein and coronary sinus (valve of Vieussens) and the prominent oval margin of the fossa ovalis (Vieussens Annulus). All his findings were associated with considerable clinical significance as evidenced in literature that followed. Vieussens accurately demonstrated the three-layered orientation of myocardium and gave a precise description of coronary arteries and their branches. At the onset of 18th century, buoyed by royal patronage from King Louis XIV of France, the second half of Vieussens illustrious career was defined by pathologic anatomy (autopsy based) and anatomo clinical correlations. This was a new trend initiated by Vieussens in anatomical research and was later adopted as a signature method by anatomists of 18th century. As a true connoisseur of cardiologic anatomy, Vieussens accurately charted the anatomo clinical correlations of cardiac tamponade, mitral stenosis and aortic regurgitation. His contributions were pivotal elements in metamorphosis of cardiology as a robust discipline of medicine in modern times.
A Novel Anti-Jamming Technique for Cognitive Radio Network
Poonam,Ravi Kant,Chander Kumar Nagpal 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Grid and Distributed Comp Vol.9 No.11
As the use of wireless applications is increasing every day; it results into shortage of limited available spectrum. Licensed spectrum is unutilized and unlicensed spectrum is overcrowded, so to increase the efficiency of allocated spectrum and to fulfill the need of unlicensed spectrum, CRN is proposed. Some routing protocols are designed for wireless communication keeping in mind that all nodes are cooperating. So this approach can solve the problem of spectrum scarcity. However due to the flexibility of such network, it is vulnerable to many security threats. Jamming attack is one of the most popular security threats which cause denial of service in the network. Various solutions are available in the literature to deal with jamming attack but still there are some open challenges in jamming attack. In this paper various anti-jamming techniques and analyze the open issues of jamming which are still there in the cognitive radio network. An anti-jamming technique is proposed in this paper to deal with the open issues. Simulation is done in MATLAB-2013 and results show that proposed method performs well.

Deposition of coatings on a cheaper substrate material is an economical, versatile, and effective way to enhance its surfaceproperties and performance for the given application. Cold spray, a relatively new technology, has several advantages overother surface coating processes, including no phase change because of its low processing temperature. This work discussesthe effects of substrate surface roughness and ceramic (TiO2) content in Ti-based feedstock powder on the coatings' depositionbehavior. The results revealed that polishing the substrate to mirror-finish can be a better option for attaining good adhesionbetween the coatings and the substrate. Also, as the ceramic content increases in the feedstock, the deposition efficiency ofthe coatings affects severely and leads to poor mechanical properties. Finally, Ti/TiO2 composite coatings have successfullybeen deposited and tested for corrosion and wear behavior. Cold sprayed Ti/20%TiO2 composite coating is found to be successfulin protecting the steel substrate from corrosion and wear.

Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has caused a large number of deaths along with severe socio-economic effects. The vaccine is considered to be the last hope to control viral transmission. This study aimed to explore the determinants of health care workers’ (HCWs) willingness to take the COVID-19 vaccina-tion.Methods: A structured, pre-validated, and pre-tested questionnaire was administered online to 599 HCWs includ-ing physicians, residents, and nurses from different types of healthcare set-ups across India. Information was col-lected regarding vaccine acceptability, attitude toward vaccination, and reasons for hesitancy. The chi-square test, followed by multinomial regression analysis, was applied to determine the factors associated with HCWs’ vaccina-tion willingness. Results: It was found that 73 % (n=437) of HCWs were willing to accept the vaccines, while 10.85% (n=65) refused and 16.2% (n=96) needed more time to decide. Gender (P<0.001), occupation (P=0.040), working as front-line workers (P=0.008), vaccine manufacturing country preferences (P<0.001), and perceived risk of catching COVID-19 in the next 6 months (P=0.005) had a significant association with intent to receive vaccination (the response were “yes” vs. “no” and “not sure”). The reasons for vaccine hesitancy were vaccine safety and efficacy concerns, antivac-cine attitude and beliefs, personal choice, and not wanting to take a vaccine before others. Conclusion: The majority of HCWs agreed to take COVID-19 vaccines once available. Nevertheless, providing sup-port to manage evolving vaccine environments will help change the perception of HCWs who refuse or are reluc-tant to take the vaccines.
