      • A Vibration Signal Analysis Method based on Enforced De-Noising and Modified EMD

        He jun,Qinghua Zhang,Guoxi Sun,Ji-cheng Yang,Jianbin Xiong 보안공학연구지원센터(IJSIP) 2015 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.8 No.1

To deal with the noise from rotating machinery vibration signal and analysis the fault signal, a rotating machinery fault diagnosis method based on enforced de-noising and modified EMD is proposed. Firstly, fault signals were de-noised by the wavelet with enforced threshold in order to filter the noises in the high frequency, and then the EMD method used to decompose the fault signals into a finite number of stationary intrinsic mode function (IMFs), then the linear correlation coefficient between two sets of data is proposed to select the useful IMF. In order to restrain the endpoint effect of EMD, in this paper, the cosine window function is employ to the fault signals, and then the envelope error of the fault signals is controlled at the both endpoints of the vibration signals. Experimental results shows: this proposed method can extract the fault information effectively, with overcoming the drawbacks of EMD well.

Localization of Subsurface Targets Based on Symmetric Sub-array MIMO Radar

Qinghua Liu,Yuanxin He,Chang Jiang 한국정보처리학회 2020 Journal of information processing systems Vol.16 No.4

For the issue of subsurface target localization by reverse projection, a new approach of target localization with different distances based on symmetric subarray multipleinput multipleoutput (MIMO) radar is proposed in this paper. By utilizing the particularity of structure of the two symmetric subarrays, the received signals arejointly reconstructed to eliminate the distance information from the steering vectors. The distanceindependent direction of arrival (DOA) estimates are acquired, and the localizations of subsurface targets with different distances are realized by reverse projection. According to the localization mechanism and application characteristics of the proposed algorithm, the grid zooming method based on spatial segmentation is used to optimize the locaiton efficiency. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed localization method and optimization scheme.

A simple electrospinning strategy to achieve the uniform distribution of ultra‑fine CoP nanocrystals on carbon nanofibers for efficient lithium storage

        Qinghua Wang,Wei Wang,Junlin Huang,Hong Yin,Yucan Zhu,Haitao Wang,Minjie Zhou,Binhong He,Zhaohui Hou,Wenyuan Xu 한국탄소학회 2023 Carbon Letters Vol.33 No.1

Transition-metal phosphides (TMPs), a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), are limited in application because of its serious volume effect in the cycle. In this work, a simple electrospinning strategy was proposed to restrict the grain size of CoP nanocrystals by nano-confined effect of carbon nanofibers with ligands. The addition of ligands not only could realize the uniform dispersion of CoP nanocrystals, but also strengthen the bond between the metals and carbon nanofibers. As a result, the CoP/CNF composite exhibits excellent lithium storage performance, and its reversible specific capacity could reach 1016.4 mAh g? 1 after 200 cycles at a current density of 200 mA g? 1. The research is anticipated to provide a new idea for the preparation of anode materials for lithium ion batteries.

      • Systematic analysis of genotype‐specific drug responses in cancer

        Kim, Nayoung,He, Ningning,Kim, Changsik,Zhang, Fan,Lu, Yiling,Yu, Qinghua,Stemke‐,Hale, Katherine,Greshock, Joel,Wooster, Richard,Yoon, Sukjoon,Mills, Gordon B Wiley Subscription Services, Inc., A Wiley Company 2012 International journal of cancer: Journal internati Vol.131 No.10

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>A systematic understanding of genotype‐specific sensitivity or resistance to anticancer agents is required to provide improved patient therapy. The availability of an expansive panel of annotated cancer cell lines enables comparative surveys of associations between genotypes and compounds of various target classes. Thus, one can better predict the optimal treatment for a specific tumor. Here, we present a statistical framework, cell line enrichment analysis (CLEA), to associate the response of anticancer agents with major cancer genotypes. Multilevel omics data, including transcriptome, proteome and phosphatome data, were integrated with drug data based on the genotypic classification of cancer cell lines. The results reproduced known patterns of compound sensitivity associated with particular genotypes. In addition, this approach reveals multiple unexpected associations between compounds and mutational genotypes. The mutational genotypes led to unique protein activation and gene expression signatures, which provided a mechanistic understanding of their functional effects. Furthermore, CLEA maps revealed interconnections between TP53 mutations and other mutations in the context of drug responses. The TP53 mutational status appears to play a dominant role in determining clustering patterns of gene and protein expression profiles for major cancer genotypes. This study provides a framework for the integrative analysis of mutations, drug responses and omics data in cancers.</P>

Multi-rate Dynamic Event-triggered H∞ Control for Linear Singularly Perturbed Systems

        Shixian Luo,Zhan He,Xin Chen,Qinghua Zhong 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2023 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.21 No.11

This paper addresses the event-triggered multi-rate H∞ control problem for linear singularly perturbed systems. A two-time-scale dynamic event-triggering mechanism is proposed to generate sampling time sequences for slow and fast subsystems. The proposed dynamic event-triggering mechanism embeds with internal dynamic variables and dwell times, which can not only increase the inter-event times compared with its static counterparts but also avoid Zeno behavior naturally. The multi-rate sampled-data control law is designed by discretizing the continuous-time composite controller based on the reduced-order technique. By employing switched time-delay system approach combined with a novel switching time-dependent Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions for stability and L2-gain properties of the closed-loop systems are established in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The effectiveness of the theoretical results is demonstrated by a vehicle active suspension system.

Effect of increased dietary crude protein levels on production performance, nitrogen utilisation, blood metabolites and ruminal fermentation of Holstein bulls

        Xia, Chuanqi,Rahman, Muhammad Aziz Ur,Yang, He,Shao, Taoqi,Qiu, Qinghua,Su, Huawei,Cao, Binghai Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2018 Animal Bioscience Vol.31 No.10

Objective: This study investigated the effect of dietary crude protein (CP) supplementation on nutrient intake, nitrogen (N) utilisation, blood metabolites, ruminal fermentation and growth performance of young Holstein bulls. Methods: Twenty-one young bulls weighing $277{\pm}11.2kg$ were equally divided into three groups and were offered diets formulated with low CP (LCP; 10.21% CP and 4.22% rumen degradable protein [RDP]), medium CP (MCP; 12.35% CP and 5.17% RDP) and high CP (HCP; 14.24% CP and 6.03% RDP). Yellow corn silage was used as a unique forage source and was mixed with concentrate. This mixed feed was given ad libitum to the young bulls included in the study. Results: Results showed that CP intake, blood urea nitrogen, N intake, total N excretion and N balance increased linearly with an increase in dietary CP level (p<0.05). However, no significant difference was observed in nutrient digestibility among the bulls receiving the different diets. Ruminal pH (p<0.05) and ammonia nitrogen ($NH_3-N$) concentration (p<0.01) were significantly higher in the bulls receiving the MCP and HCP diets than in those receiving the LCP diet. The bulls receiving the HCP diet showed significantly higher ruminal bacterial protein level, propionate, acetate and total volatile fatty acid (TVFA) concentrations than bulls receiving the LCP diet (p<0.05). Moreover, dietary CP level exerted a significant positive effect on the final body weight, average daily gain and gain-to-feed ratio of the bulls (p<0.05). Conclusion: High dietary CP level is optimal for achieving maximum growth and high profitability without exerting a negative effect on the physiology of growing Holstein bulls.

A Fibrin Matrix Promotes the Differentiation of EMSCs Isolated from Nasal Respiratory Mucosa to Myelinating Phenotypical Schwann-Like Cells

        Chen, Qian,Zhang, Zhijian,Liu, Jinbo,He, Qinghua,Zhou, Yuepeng,Shao, Genbao,Sun, Xianglan,Cao, Xudong,Gong, Aihua,Jiang, Ping Korean Society for Molecular and Cellular Biology 2015 Molecules and cells Vol.38 No.3

Because Schwann cells perform the triple tasks of myelination, axon guidance and neurotrophin synthesis, they are candidates for cell transplantation that might cure some types of nervous-system degenerative diseases or injuries. However, Schwann cells are difficult to obtain. As another option, ectomesenchymal stem cells (EMSCs) can be easily harvested from the nasal respiratory mucosa. Whether fibrin, an important transplantation vehicle, can improve the differentiation of EMSCs into Schwann-like cells (SLCs) deserves further research. EMSCs were isolated from rat nasal respiratory mucosa and were purified using anti-CD133 magnetic cell sorting. The purified cells strongly expressed HNK-1, nestin, $p75^{NTR}$, S-100, and vimentin. Using nuclear staining, the MTT assay and Western blotting analysis of the expression of cell-cycle markers, the proliferation rate of EMSCs on a fibrin matrix was found to be significantly higher than that of cells grown on a plastic surface but insignificantly lower than that of cells grown on fibronectin. Additionally, the EMSCs grown on the fibrin matrix expressed myelination-related molecules, including myelin basic protein (MBP), 2',3'-cyclic nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase (CNPase) and galactocerebrosides (GalCer), more strongly than did those grown on fibronectin or a plastic surface. Furthermore, the EMSCs grown on the fibrin matrix synthesized more neurotrophins compared with those grown on fibronectin or a plastic surface. The expression level of integrin in EMSCs grown on fibrin was similar to that of cells grown on fibronectin but was higher than that of cells grown on a plastic surface. These results demonstrated that fibrin not only promoted EMSC proliferation but also the differentiation of EMSCs into the SLCs. Our findings suggested that fibrin has great promise as a cell transplantation vehicle for the treatment of some types of nervous system diseases or injuries.

Liu Jin-sheng,Guoxi Sun,Qinghua Zhang,He jun 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Security and Its Applicat Vol.9 No.2

To overcome the drawback of KNN algorithms based on distance measure which did not measure the contributions for each feature accurately. In this paper, a K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) de-noise method based on likelihood distance entropy is proposed. The relations of feature parameters are used to measure their contributions for de-noise energy, then according to the contributions for each feature leading de-noise of the feature parameters. In order to compare the performance of these relative methods, the Letter corpora and Pima Indians Diabetes data-base are employ to carry out the experiments, the experiment results show that comparing with the other de-noise methods mentioned in this paper, this proposed method have a better ability for de-noise.
