In this study, spray-drying yield and morphological characterization of spray-dried cellulose nanofibril (CNF) and TEMPO-oxidized nanocellulose (TONC) depending on spray-drying condition and surfactant addition was investigated. As spray-drying temperature increased, the yield of spray-dried CNF was increased. The highest spray-drying yields in both nanocelluloses were found at didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC) addition of 2.5 phr at all investigated temperatures. The spray-dried CNF was the sphere-like particle, but the spray- dried TONC showed both rod and sphere-like morphology. The average diameter of spray-dried CNF was decreased with increasing DDAC addition amount, resulting in the increase of specific surface area.
Overview of the Preparation Methods of Nano-scale Cellulose

A wide range of research on the science and technology of nano-scale cellulose, mainly cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) and cellulose nanocrystals (CNC), has been conducted worldwide because of nanocellulose’s unique distinguishing properties for various application fields. Nanocellulose can be produced from any type of lignocellulosic biomass and, so far, various production methods have been introduced. Recently, industries and institutes worldwide have attempted to scale-up the production of nanocelullose to produce it in large quantities to support its research and applications development. This review provides a short summary of previously published research and review papers on the preparation methods of nanocellulose, targeting the research activities of our interest.
Cloning and characterization of chitin synthase gene fragments from Penicillium chryspgenum

DNA fragments homologous to chitin synthase were amplified from the genomic DNA of Penicillium chrysogenum by PCR. Cloning and sequencing of the PCR-amplified fragments led to the identification of four different genes, designated PcCHS1, PcCHS2, PcCHS3, and PcCHS4. By comparison of the deduced amino acid sequences, PcCHS1 was identified as a gene for classⅠ chitin synthase, PcCHS2 and PcCHS3 were for classⅡ, and PcCHS4 was for classⅢ. Among these only PcCHS4 includes an intervening sequence of 56 bp. The analysis of the deduced amino acid sequences revealed a close evolutionary relationship between Penicillium and ascomycetous fungi.
자원봉사대상자의 서비스 만족도와 지속성에 미치는 영향요인 분석 : 서울시 자원봉사센터를 중심으로

자원봉사는 지역사회의 삶의 질에 있어서 중요한 역할을 하고 있음에도 불구하고, 자원봉사자에게 빈번하게 발생하는 조기중도 탈락은 자원봉사대상자에 대한 서비스의 일관성을 헤칠 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 자원봉사활동 본래의 목적을 저해하며 서비스의 질을 떨어뜨리는 원인이 되고 있다. 따라서 자원봉사서비스에 대한 만족도 제고와 지속성을 위하여 자원봉사대상자를 대상으로 만족도와 지속성에 영향을 미치는 서비스 품질 요인을 분석할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 서울시자원봉사센터를 통해 자원봉사서비스를 경험한 자원봉사대상자를 대상으로 자원봉사활동의 만족도와 지속성에 미치는 서비스 품질 영향요인을 분석하였다. 분석결과 자원봉사서비스의 만족도에는 학력 및 보증성과 공감성이, 지속성에는 보증성과 공감성이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 연구결과와 관련하여 향후 고려해야할 사항을 살펴보면 맞춤자원봉사서비스의 제공, 자원봉사자 서비스 교육강화, 자원봉사센터의 협력 및 네트워크 강화, 지방정부의 체계적 지원 등을 고려해 보아야 할 것이다. This study attempted to empirically analyze the important impact factors influencing the satisfaction levels and persistence of the voluntary service recipients of the Seoul Voluntary Service Center. The factor analysis showed that there are five main factors-tangibleness, reliability, responsiveness, assurances and empathy- used for studying the impact factors influencing the satisfaction levels of the voluntary service recipients. Regression analysis results pointed out that assurances, empathy and education level have statistically significant effects on overall satisfaction levels of the voluntary service recipients. In addition, the results of logistic analysis showed that factors including assurances and empathy have statistically significant impact on the service recipients’ intent of receiving the voluntary services persistently. Overall, the study suggest that for further development of the voluntary services, certain measures are seemed to require to provide customized voluntary service programs and better training for the service providers, build cooperative system of voluntary service center, and strengthen local government's supports.

6목법에 따른 소나무림의 종간경쟁 및 생장특성 -국가산림자원조사-

본 연구는 제6차 국가산림자원조사 3차년도 고정표본점 중 소나무림의 임분구조에 대해 살펴보고, Hegyi 경쟁지수를 활용하여 생장량과의 관계를 구명하기 위하여 수행되었다. 총 818개의 고정표본점 중 소나무림 표본점은 116개로 조사되었으며, 고정표본점의 입목을 훼손하지 않기 위해 표본점 중심으로부터 일정거리(90° 방향, 16 m 이상)를 이동하여, 표본점의 주수종과 동일한 수종을 중심목으로 선정하고 근접하는 입목 5본을 경쟁목으로 선정하여 6본의 생장목편을 채취한 뒤 흉고직경, 수고, 형질급, 수관급, 수관폭 등을 측정하였으며, 중심목으로부터 거리와 방위를 측정하였다. 이렇게 측정된 자료를 활용하여 3차원 입목구조와 수관 투영도를 작성하였고, Hegyi 경쟁지수를 활용하여 입목의 생장량과 상관분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, Hegyi 경쟁지수와 5년 생장량과의 상관계수는 -0.436으로 음의 상관관계를 나타내고 있으며, Hegyi 경쟁지수와 10년 생장량과의 상관계수는-0.462로 음의 상관관계를 나타내 Hegyi 경쟁지수가 높아질수록 생장량은 감소하는 경향을 나타내고 있다. In this study, we carried out in order to describe the structure of the trees of the Pinus densiflora forest of the permanent sample plot of the third year of the 6th National Forest Inventory, by using the Hegyi competition index to investigate the relationship between growth. Permanent sample point of the Pinus densiflora forest of a total of 818 plot has been investigated in 116 plot, a certain distance from the center of the sample point in order not to damage the trees of permanent sample point, the diameter of the traits class after the move(90° direction, 16m or more), to elect to fierce competition of five trees that were selected in the center trees the same species as the main species of sample points, to close to each other, were taken growth wood of six, was measured at morphology of trees, and the width of the crown, and the diameter, and the height, so as to measure the distance and heading from the center tree. With the help of data measured in this way, it is possible to create a projection chart of the crown and the three-dimensional trees structures by using Hegyi competition index was performed correlation with the growth trees. As a result, the correlation coefficient between the ``5 growth and Hegyi competition index shows a negative correlation -0.436, the correlation coefficient between the ``10 growth and Hegyi competition index is negative correlation -0.462 shows a tendency to decrease growth about Hegyi competition index is higher by showing.
