MWCNTs functionalized with the carboxylate group are used as efficient adsorbent for the rapid removaland fast adsorption of malachite green from the aqueous solutions. The optimized contact time and pHwere 10 min and 9, respectively. The effect of temperature revealed that the adsorption capacity ofmalachite green (MG) dye increased with increasing contact time, temperature and pH of the workingsolution. The adsorption equilibrium and kinetic data was well fitted and found to be in good agreementwith the Langmuir isotherm model and pseudo second order kinetic model respectively with highcorrelation coefficient.
Synthesis and Biological Evaluations of Enoxacin Carboxamide Derivatives
M. Saeed Arayne,Najma Sultana,Urooj Haroon,M. Ahmed Mesaik,Muhammad Asif 대한약학회 2009 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.32 No.7
The present work deals with the synthesis of various enoxacin analogues via nucleophilic substitution of 3- carboxylic acid moiety of the drug by aromatic amines. The free carboxylic group was utilized in the formation of amides and the effect of functional group exchange on different biological activities of the parent was evaluated. The structure of these derivatives was established by various spectroscopic techniques and mass spectrometry. The derivatives were evaluated as antibacterial agents against a series of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria whereby some of them displayed considerably improved antimicrobial profile against Gramnegative test strains. Additionally unlike enoxacin, the derivatives were also found to modulate oxidative burst response of phagocytes exhibiting moderate to significant inhibitory activity.

M. Asif Noor,Israr Ullah Khan 아시아사회과학학회 2022 Jornal of Asia Social Science Vol.6 No.2
The aim of the paper is to investigate the role of eunuchs and transgender i.e. the gendered other in central and provincial administration of Medieval India. In order to achieve the aim, the paper presents (1) a basic architecture of the significance of various administrative posts in Medieval India, (2) the gendered other’s role in the executive, military, police, finance management and judiciary (3) the gendered other’s role in the medicinal provision of the Empire. The paper is based on multiple historical records and article analysis including Ain I Akbari, Tazkiratul Waqiat as well as articles written by Lubna Irfan and Shadab Bano.
Ground state opto-electronic and thermoelectric response of cubic XSnO3 (X = Ba, Sr) compounds
M. Bilal Saddique,Muhammad Rashid,Adnan Afzal,Shahid M. Ramay,Farooq Aziz,Asif Mahmood 한국물리학회 2017 Current Applied Physics Vol.17 No.8
The density functional has been implemented to deliberate the cubic perovskite XSnO3 (X ¼ Ba, Sr) for their elastic, electronic, optical as well as thermoelectric characteristic. The XSnO3 (X ¼ Ba, Sr) illustrates good pact of lattice parameter for these iso-structural compounds having cubic perovskite structure. The generalized gradient approximation based on the exchange-correlation functional is applied for computing structural and mechanical characteristic, whereas the electronic, optical and thermoelectric properties have been studied by the functional suggested by Tran and Blaha that is termed as of modified Becke-Johnson (mBJ) functional. The thermodynamics stability is recognized through the expression of enthalpies of formation, which is further verified from the calculated structural properties of cubic perovskite XSnO3 (X ¼ Ba, Sr). Moreover, various elastic parameters such has bulk modules B, Cij, shear modulus G, Young's modulus Y, anisotropy factor, B/G ratio and Poisson's ratio n have also been reported. It has been observed by band structure computation that the studied compounds exhibit an indirect band gap between the unoccupied Ba/Sr 6s/5s and the occupied O 2p orbitals. Detailed study of optical properties is presented under the incident photon energy upto 28 eV. Our computed static dielectric constant ε2(0) and refractive index n(0) are comparable with other theoretical and experimental values. Thermoelectric properties are presented in terms of computed Seebeck coefficient, electrical and thermal conductivities and their variation with the rise in temperature suggest that the studied compounds may find applications in the construction of various thermo-electric devices.

The optical properties of quaternary AlInGaN epilayers and AlInGaN/AlInGaN multiple quantum wells (MQWs) grown by a pulsed metalorganic chemical vapor deposition have been investigated by means of photoluminescence (PL) and time-resolved PL measurements. The PL emission peaks in both AlInGaN epilayers and MQWs show a blueshift with increasing excitation power density. The PL intensities of MQWs are much stronger (∼3-4 times) than that of the epilayer. The PL emission intensities (Iemi) of both AlInGaN epilayers and MQW samples increase superlinearly with increasing excitation power density (Iexc), following a power-law form, Iemi @? Iexcβ. The PL decay times of MQWs are longer than that of epilayer. The longer PL decay times may be due to a stronger localization effect of carriers/excitons at band tail states and wave function separation caused by the quantum confined Stark effect. These results indicate that AlInGaN/AlInGaN MQWs grown by a PMOCVD are promising materials for ultraviolet light emitting diode (LED) applications similar to the InGaN/InGaN system for blue LED applications.

<P>A coexistence decision-making (CDM) system for efficient TV whitespace (TVWS) sharing among whitespace objects (WSOs) is introduced in this paper. The proposed system is considered versatile in functionality as it jointly takes care of three distinct channel allocation features: (a) optimizing system quality of service (QoS) performance metrics, (b) improving TVWS utility, and (c) satisfying WSO channel demands. Regarding system QoS performance metrics, the TVWS sharing problem is defined as an optimization problem with an aim to maximize the system throughput and minimize unfairness in allocation. Supporting the WSOs channel demands in a TVWS sharing problem is a multifold task which requires elaborate consideration in different aspects of the system performance. To this end, the variations of the SNR of wireless frequency channels which result in variable throughput gain of the WSOs are also taken care of in the proposed CDM system. A fast channel allocation algorithm is then designed that implements the TVWS sharing mechanism in a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, the proposed algorithm improves the TVWS utility by promoting a novel frequency reuse method by exploiting the inter-WSO interference information. Simulation results show the superiority of the proposed algorithm over existing TVWS sharing algorithms.</P>
