A Study on the Influence of Digital Experience and Purchase in the 4th Industrial Revolution : Focusing on Differences between Satisfied, Neutral, and Dissatisfied Groups

Sang Hee Jung,Sang-Jik Lee 한국데이타베이스학회 2019 Journal of information technology applications & m Vol.26 No.4

One of the most considerate phenomena of the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution is the use of digital devices. Digitalization is rapidly advancing through all areas of industry and life. Customer journey with digitalization is looking totally different from previous customer journey. The research targets were users of fashion, automobiles, cosmetics and online shopping malls. We analyzed 300 people for each valid questionnaire. The results of the study are as follows. First, it has been proven that digital experience affects positive (+) impact on purchasing intention and positive (+) impact on recommending intention and negative impact (-) on switching intent and subsequently affects positive impact (+) to purchase and incase of switching intent, negative impact (-) to purchase. Unlike traditional methods such as SPC(Service Profit Chain), the Digital experience to Purchase process Chain (DPC) has been identified to be suitable in the digital age. Second, the digital satisfied group (5 score-very satisfaction) has shown same result as above. However the digital neutral group (even though 4 score- satisfaction in five-point scale), specially in a highly competitive industry, has different from the satisfied group and 3 score-normal is same as dissatisfied group. It means that this group is that If there is a high level of attractiveness of substitute goods, there is a high possibility of switching them. It has supported Jones and Sasser [1995] that there have been two types of loyalty of true long-term loyalty and what we call false loyalty in the highly competitive industry zone which is commoditization or low differentiation, many substitutes, low cost of switching. Identifying true loyalty and false loyalty is crucial to establishing a customer experience strategy. it is necessary to actively utilize long-term digital experiences strategy to increase the total satisfaction of digital experience through all of customer purchasing journey in order to enhance the digital customer experience. It is difficult to see the effect as a one-time event. It should be scaled over the entire customer purchase process over a long period of time, which can positively affect purchase intention, recommendation intention, and conversion intention. This is also why it is difficult for second-runners to overtake first-runners in a short period.

Dynamics of bluff-body-stabilized premixed hydrogen/air flames in a narrow channel

        Lee, Bok Jik,Yoo, Chun Sang,Im, Hong G. Elsevier 2015 Combustion and Flame Vol.162 No.6

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Two-dimensional direct numerical simulations were conducted for bluff-body stabilized flames of a lean hydrogen/air mixture at near-blowoff conditions in a meso-scale channel. Parametric simulations were conducted by incrementally varying the inflow velocity in the vicinity of the blowoff limit, and the corresponding flame response was monitored. The present study is a showcase of combustion DNS with embedded boundary representation, and full demonstration of the detailed visualization of the near-blowoff flame characteristics. As the inflow velocity approaches blowoff limit, the flame dynamics exhibit a complex sequence of events, such as periodic local extinction and recovery, and regrowth of the bulk flame by the flame segments attached behind the bluff-body. The total extinction is observed as the attached flames shrink down and are no longer able to regrow the bulk flames. Despite the disparity in the physical scale under study, the observed sequence of the extinction pathway shows a strong similarity with experimental observations at larger scale combustion systems.</P>

      • Effect of Insam Saponin on the Absorption of Glucose and Tyrosine

Lee, Sang Jik,Kim, Dong Soon 嶺南大學校附設 基礎科學硏究所 1982 基礎科學硏究 Vol.2 No.-

Saponins, as one of the major components of insam root, attracted much concern of investigators in physiological and pharmaceutical fields since they were seprated from panax quinquefolium L. by Garriques in 1854. Biochemical approaches involving examination of saponin-biomenbrane interaction possibly 엳 새 surface activity (Lee et al., 1981) of the saponin have been conducted in this laboratory. It was reasonably suggested that insam saponin interacted with free lipid molecules because of its surface activity and solubilized them in the aqueous media (Joo and Lee, 1977). In this respect, biomembrane consisting largely of lipid molecules will be affected somhow by the action of saponin and will show altered functions such as transport phenomenon.

Molybdenum and Cobalt Silicide Field Emitter Arrays

        Lee, Jong-Duk,Shim, Byung-Chang,Park, Byung-Gook,Kwon, Sang-Jik The Korean Infomation Display Society 2000 Journal of information display Vol.1 No.1

In order to improve both the level and the stability of electron emission, Mo and Co silicides were formed from Mo mono-layer and Ti/Co bi-layers on single crystal silicon field emitter arrays (FEAs), respectively. Using the slope of Fowler-Nordheim curve and tip radius measured from scanning electron microscopy (SEM), the effective work function of Mo and Co silicide FEAs were calculated to be 3.13 eV and 2.56 eV, respectively. Compared with silicon field emitters, Mo and Co silicide exhibited 10 and 34 times higher maximum emission current, 10 V and 46 V higher device failure voltage, and 6.1 and 4.8 times lower current fluctuation, respectively. Moreover, the emission currents of the silicide FEAs depending on vacuum level were almost the same in the range of $10^{-9}{\sim}10^{-6}$ torr. This result shows that silicide is robust in terms of anode current degradation due to the absorption of air molecules.

Novel KCNQ4 variants in different functional domains confer genotype- and mechanism-based therapeutics in patients with nonsyndromic hearing loss

        Sang-Yeon Lee,Hyun Been Choi,Mina Park,Il Soon Choi,Jieun An,Ami Kim,Eunku Kim,Nahyun Kim,Jin Hee Han,Min young Kim,Seung min Lee,Doo-Yi Oh,Bong Jik Kim,Nayoung Yi,Nayoung, K. D. Kim,Chung Lee,Woong-Y 생화학분자생물학회 2021 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.53 No.-

Loss-of-function variant in the gene encoding the KCNQ4 potassium channel causes autosomal dominant nonsyndromic hearing loss (DFNA2), and no effective pharmacotherapeutics have been developed to reverse channel activity impairment. Phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2), an obligatory phospholipid for maintaining KCNQ channel activity, confers differentialpharmacological sensitivity of channels to KCNQ openers. Through whole-exome sequencing of DFNA2 families, we identified three novel KCNQ4 variants related to diverse auditory phenotypes in the proximal C-terminus (p.Arg331Gln), the C-terminus of the S6 segment (p.Gly319Asp), and the pore region (p.Ala271_Asp272del). Potassium currents in HEK293T cells expressing each KCNQ4 variant were recorded by patch-clamp, and functional recovery by PIP2 expression or KCNQ openers was examined. In the homomeric expression setting, the three novel KCNQ4 mutant proteins lost conductance and were unresponsive to KCNQ openers or PIP2 expression. Loss of p.Arg331Gln conductance was slightly restored by a tandem concatemer channel (WT-p.R331Q), and increased PIP2 expression further increased the concatemer current to the level of the WT channel. Strikingly, an impaired homomeric p.Gly319Asp channel exhibited hyperactivity when a concatemer (WT-p.G319D), with a negative shift in the voltage dependence of activation. Correspondingly, a KCNQ inhibitor and chelation of PIP2 effectively downregulated the hyperactive WTp. G319D concatemer channel. Conversely, the pore-region variant (p.Ala271_Asp272del) was nonrescuable under any condition. Collectively, these novel KCNQ4 variants may constitute therapeutic targets that can be manipulated by the PIP2 level and KCNQregulating drugs under the physiological context of heterozygous expression. Our research contributes to the establishment of a genotype/mechanism-based therapeutic portfolio for DFNA2.

      • Mitochondrial Activities of Bovine Tissues for External Electron Transport

        Lee, Sang-Jik,Lee, Jae-Yang 생화학분자생물학회 1992 한국생화학회지 Vol.25 No.8

Bovine liver, heart and round muscle mitochondria were isolated employing respective preparation methods using high speed centrifugation and compared their activities in terms of NADH oxidation. It was observed that heart and round muscle mitochondrial activities were 30.8-fold and 9.3-fold that of liver respectively. It was obvious therefore that the activities of electron transport from added NADH for bovine round muscle and heart were greater and far greater than that of liver origin respectively.

Cytochrome c and Cholroplast were Used for an Artificial Approach to confirming the Irreversible Catalysis by Mitochondrial Cytochrome Oxidase

Lee,Sang Jik,Lee,Jae Yang,Song,Ji Young The Korea Science and Technology Center 2000 BMB Reports Vol.33 No.3

Ferricytochrome c was artificially made to receive the aqueous electrons evolved through the influence of illuminated chloroplast. This ferricytochrome c, which was bombarded by electrons, was reduced to ferrocytochrome c by making sure that a certain cytochrome is reduced. This may require an electronic attack that is created by the chloroplast inside the plant cell. The possibility of reversing the oxidation of ferrocytochrome c by cytochrome oxidase was examined using a contrived redox system composed of cytochrome oxidase, ferricytochrome c and chloroplast with illumination. We recognized that the oxidase is unserviceable for the reversibleness in spite of the existence of chloroplast.

      • A genome-wide association study of a coronary artery disease risk variant.

        Lee, Ji-Young,Lee, Bok-Soo,Shin, Dong-Jik,Woo Park, Kyung,Shin, Young-Ah,Joong Kim, Kwang,Heo, Lyong,Young Lee, Ji,Kyoung Kim, Yun,Jin Kim, Young,Bum Hong, Chang,Lee, Sang-Hak,Yoon, Dankyu,Jung Ku, Hy Springer-Verlag 2013 Journal of human genetics Vol.58 No.3

<P>Although over 30 common genetic susceptibility loci have been identified to be independently associated with coronary artery disease (CAD) risk through genome-wide association studies (GWAS), genetic risk variants reported to date explain only a small fraction of heritability. To identify novel susceptibility variants for CAD and confirm those previously identified in European population, GWAS and a replication study were performed in the Koreans and Japanese. In the discovery stage, we genotyped 2123 cases and 3591 controls with 521 786 SNPs using the Affymetrix SNP Array 6.0 chips in Korean. In the replication, direct genotyping was performed using 3052 cases and 4976 controls from the KItaNagoya Genome study of Japan with 14 selected SNPs. To maximize the coverage of the genome, imputation was performed based on 1000 Genome JPT+CHB and 5.1 million SNPs were retained. CAD association was replicated for three GWAS-identified loci (1p13.3/SORT1 (rs599839), 9p21.3/CDKN2A/2B (rs4977574), and 11q22.3/ PDGFD (rs974819)) in Koreans. From GWAS and a replication, SNP rs3782889 showed a strong association (combined P=3.95 10(-14)), although the association of SNP rs3782889 doesn't remain statistically significant after adjusting for SNP rs11066015 (proxy SNP with BRAP (r(2)=1)). But new possible CAD-associated variant was observed for rs9508025 (FLT1), even though its statistical significance did marginally reach at the genome-wide a significance level (combined P=6.07 10(-7)). This study shows that three CAD susceptibility loci, which were previously identified in European can be directly replicated in Koreans and also provides additional evidences implicating suggestive loci as risk variants for CAD in East Asian.</P>

Accuracy of five implant impression technique: effect of splinting materials and methods : Effect of splinting materials and methods

        Sang-Jik Lee,Sung-Bum Cho, 대한치과보철학회 2011 The Journal of Advanced Prosthodontics Vol.3 No.4

PURPOSE The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of dimensional stability of splinting material on the accuracy of master casts. MATERIALS AND METHODS A stainless steel metal model with 6 implants embedded was used as a master model. Implant level impressions were made after square impression copings were splinted using 5 different techniques as follows. (1) Splinted with autopolymerizing resin and sectioned, reconnected to compensate polymerization shrinkage before the impression procedure. (2) Splinted with autopolymerizing resin just before impression procedure. (3) Primary impression made with impression plaster and secondary impression were made over with polyether impression material. (4) Splinted with impression plaster. (5) Splinted with VPS bite registration material. From master model, 5 impressions and 5 experimental casts, total 25 casts were made for each of 5 splinting methods. The distortion values of each splinting methods were measured using coordinate measuring machine, capable of recordings in the x-, y-, z-axes. A one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) at a confidence level of 95% was used to evaluate the data and Tukey's studentized range test was used to determine significant differences between the groups. RESULTS Group 1 showed best accuracy followed by Group 3 & 4. Group 2 and 5 showed relatively larger distortion value than other groups. No significant difference was found between group 3, 4, 5 in x-axis, group 2, 3, 4 in y-axis and group 1, 3, 4, 5 in z-axis (P<.0001). CONCLUSION Both Splinting impression copings with autopolymerizing resin following compensation of polymerization shrinkage and splinting method with impression plaster can enhance the accuracy of master cast and impression plaster can be used simple and effective splinting material for implant impression procedure.
