        레일용접부의 건전성평가를 위한 고정밀 초음파 거리진폭특성곡선의 구축

        This study proposes integrity evaluation method of weld zone in rails using high precision distance amplitude characteristics curve(DACC) and ultrasonic signals. For these purposes, the ultrasonic signals for defects(porosity and crack) of weld zone in rails are acquired in the type of time series data and echo strength. 6 lines in the DACC indicated damage evaluation standard of weld zone in rails. The acquired ultrasonic signals agree fairly well with the mesured results of reference block and sensitivity block(defect location, beam propagation distance, echo strength, etc). The proposed high precision DACC in this study can be used for integrity evaluation of weld zone in rails.

        금속의 절삭성 평가를 위한 2-3차원 어트랙터 시스템의 구축

        This study proposes the construction of 2-3 dimensional attractor system for cutting characteristics evaluation of metals. Also this paper aims to find the optimal cutting conditions of diamond turning machine by measuring surface form and roughness to perform the cutting experiment of metals, which are aluminum, with diamond tool. As well, according to change cutting conditions such as feed rate, using diamond turning machine to perform cutting processing, by measuring cutting force and surface roughness and according to cutting conditions the aluminum about cutting properties. Trajectory changes in the attractor indicated a substantial difference in attractor characteristics. Constructed 2-3 dimensional attractor system in this study can be used for cutting characteristics evaluation of metals.

        Cheek Flap을 이용한 안면부 재건

        There are several technique for facial reconstruction using local, regional and distant flaps. Most of these techniques require multiple stages, leave poor color match, and create serious complications at donor site. Since 1959, a wide variety of defects in the eyelid and cheek have been reconstructed with Mustarde's cheek flap. This can mobilize a large area to be rotated into the defect, and effectively cover a relatively large defect with minimal distortion and with good color match. Advantage of the cheek flap include easy accessibility and operative technique. In the old age group that present most commonly with eyelid malignancies, there is sufficient laxity of the skin, and therefore, abundant tissue is available to reconstruct the lower lid. Problems which can develop with this flap include hematoma, infection, or flap necrosis early in the postoperative course. Late complications include problems resulting mainly from skin tension and gravity, causing ectropion or lateral canthal distortion. The author experienced excellent functional and esthetic result form 15 cases of facial reconstruction with Mustsarde's cheek flap. We reviewed history and surgical techniques of this flap referring the literature.

        경계요소법에 의한 이종재료 접합 잔류열응력의 해석

        전자 부품의 일종인 LSI 패키지의 제조 과정에서 절연·방진·방습 등을 목적으로 수지 몰딩이 널리 사용되고 있는데, 냉각과정에서 금속과 수지의 계면에 접합 잔류열응력이 발생하여 파괴의 원인이 되고 있다. 접합 잔류열응력의 측정에는 X선 회절법등이 사용되지만 측정상의 어려움과 계면단 응력특이성에 대한 해석의 곤란함 때문에 적절한 모델링에 따른 수치해석적 연구가 새로이 주목을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Al/Epoxy를 몰딩 접합한 세가지의 대표적인 계면 형상을 선정하여 계면에서의 잔류열응력을 경계요소 수치 해석 및 스트레인 게이지를 이용한 실험을 통하여 각각 해석하였다. 수치해석과 실험결과는 정상적으로 잘 일치하였으며, 서브 요소를 사용하므로써 계면단 응력 특이성의 해석 정밀도를 향상시킬 수 있었다. 또한 접합 잔류열응력의 해석결과로부터 수직응력에 의한 계면 박리가 예상되고, 피착체의 두께가 증가할수록 응력 특이성이 강하게 나타남을 확인하였다. In general residual stress is measured by X-ray diffraction method but in case of bonding residual thermal stress it is inadequate technique to examine the stress singularity. Therefore Two-dimensional elastic boundary element analyses were carried out to investigate the residual thermal stress and stress singularity of bonding interface in Al/Epoxy. This boundary element results were compared with the strain gauge measurements. The effects of different interface models, sub-elements and adherend thickness are presented and discussed. On the basis of the obtained results, interface delamination causing by normal stress is expected and stress singularity is observed more intensively increasing with adherend thickness. It is concluded that the bonding strength of Al/Epoxy interface can be estimated correctly by taking into account the stress singularity at the edge of the interface.

        압축강도 평가를 위한 지능형 응력예측기 구축

        This work is concerned with construction of the intelligence stress predictor for compression strength evaluation using neural network-ultrasonic waves. The contact pressure in jointed plates was measured by using ultrasonic technique. Neural network is used to evaluate and predict contact pressure from the results of the calibration curves. The organized neural system was learned with the accuracy of 99%, as a result of learning the ultrasonic echo ratio to the contact pressure measurement between SM45C and STS410 materials. And it could be evaluated and predicted with the accuracy of 90% in the evaluation of ultrasonic echo ratio difference in the same surface roughness and contact pressure, and 85% in the prediction of virtual ultrasonic echo ratio. Thus the proposed stress predictor is very useful for the evaluation and prediction of the contract pressure between SM45C and STS410 materials.
