Variable Sampling Inspection with Screening When Lot Quality Follows Mixed Normal Distribution
Suzuki, Yuichiro,Takemoto, Yasuhiko,Arizono, Ikuo Korean Institute of Industrial Engineers 2009 Industrial Engineeering & Management Systems Vol.8 No.3
The variable sampling inspection scheme with screening for the purpose of assuring the upper limit of maximum expected surplus loss after inspection has been proposed. In this inspection scheme, it has been assumed that a product lot consists of products manufactured through a single production line and lot quality characteristics follow a normal distribution. In the previous literature with respect to inspection schemes, it has been commonly assumed that lot quality characteristics obey a single normal distribution under the condition that all products are manufactured in the same condition. On the other hand, the production line is designed in order that the workload of respective processes becomes uniform from the viewpoint of line balancing. One of the solutions for the bottleneck process is to arrange the workshops in parallel. The lot quality characteristics from such a production line with the process consisting of some parallel workshops might not follow strictly the single normal distribution. Therefore, we expand an applicable scope of the above mentioned variable sampling inspection scheme with screening in this article. Concretely, we consider the variable sampling inspection with screening for the purpose of assuring the upper limit of average outgoing surplus quality loss in the production lots when the lot quality follows the mixed normal distribution.

Central excited material is contained in Guarana water extraction thing, and the central excited material is thought to be caffeine, teopiline, and teobulomine by this experiment. And, the LD50 value of Guarana water extraction thing without a shell is calculated 2900mg/kg with though the LD50 value of Guarana warter extraction thing with the shell was calculated 1350mg/kg with by the Behrens-Karber method. An acute toxic examination due to the existence of the shell was done again and more than the above result as a future subject. The computation of the LD50 value and the analysis of the element of the shell could get it further again in fraction chromatography. It is examined where strong toxic material is contained, and it thinks that it is necessary to do specifying of the toxic material.

Ferroelectric Domain Wall Structure in Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 Mixed Crystals by AFM
Makoto Iwata,Ikuo Suzuki,Kohei Katsuraya,Maeda Masaki,Naohiko Yasuda,Yoshihiro Ishibashi 한국물리학회 2005 THE JOURNAL OF THE KOREAN PHYSICAL SOCIETY Vol.46 No.1
Domain-wall structures in Pb(Zn1=3Nb2=3)O3-xPbTiO3 (PZN-xPT; x = 0 %, 8 %, 20 %) crystals were investigated by using atomic force microscopy (AFM). Ferroelectric and ferroelastic domainwallstructures were observed on the etched surface. In the rhombohedral phase, a zigzag domainwall structure was newly found. We showed that all of the ferroelastic domain-wall structures observed in the tetragonal and rhombohedral phases can be explained by the Sapriel theory, and concluded that no ferroelectric charged domain-wall exists in the PZN-xPT (x = 8 %, 20 %) crystal without an external eld. The symmetry of the crystal phase in PZN-8 %PT at room temperature is discussed. It was also found that the ngerprint pattern in PZN disappears after the poling process, even in a weak eld of about 50 V/cm, which is about 1/20 of the coercive field.

Polarization reversal processes with 90 domain walls under a low-frequency field of 25 mHz were investigated on the ab-plane in the ferroelectric Bi4Ti3O12 crystal by using a polarizing microscope. We found that there are three kinds of modes in the polarization reversal of the a-domain, that is, changes of the width in a-domains, annihilations of needle-like a-domains, and polarization reversals within the a-domain. We point out that the a-domain in the 90 domain wall structure plays an important role in the polarization reversal process under a field along the b direction.X%1

Propolis is a resin-like material produced by honeybees, an mixture with resin and pollen in their saliva. Propolis, in Oriental medicine, has been referred to as 'Nobongbang'(露蜂房)and used for anti-pyretic, antidotal, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory purpose. The pharmacological effects of Propolis are known to be anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, and immunopotentiating. Propolis was extracted with water, the extract was centrifuged, and the supernatant was filtered and freeze-dried. It was then gel-filtered and purified according to the increase in the ratio of mouse lymphocytes versus polymorphonuclear leukocytes(L/P activity). We previously reported the immunopotentiating effects of Propolis at the 114the General Conference of the Japan Society of Pharmacology(March, 1994 : Tokyo) and its anti-tumor effects on solid and ascitic tumors in mice bearing Ehrlich carcinoma at the 53rd General Conference of the Japanese Cancer Association(October, 1994 : Nagoya). Furthermore we reported the anti-tumor and anti-cytopenic effects of combined use of water-soluble Propolis and its gel-filtration fractions G-1, G-2, and G-3 with anti-cancer drugs(5FU and MMC) in ICR mice(5-week-old males) bearing Ehrlich carcinoma at the 115th General Conference of the Japan Society of Pharmacology(March, 1995 : Sendai). The tumor growth was inhibited, and cytopenia due to 5FU was significantly alleviated(Pr.<0.01 for WBS and RBC), when water-soluble Propolis was administered with 5FU as compared with 5FU alone(inhibition rate 83.0%). When water-soluble Propolis and its gel-filtration fractions G-1 and G-2 were administered with MMC, the tumor growth was more suppressed(inhibition rates 91.8%, 88.0%, and 82.0%, respectively) than by intraperitoneal administration of MMC alone. In addition, leukopenia was significantly alleviated(Pr.<0.05) by administration of water-soluble and G-2 with MMC as compared with MMC alone(54th General Conference of the Japan Cancer Society : Oct., 1995 : Kyoto). Aithouse, the active component responsible for the anti-tumor activity of water-soluble Propolis has been identified, and its anti-tumor effects likely to be derived from stimulation of host responses as well as direct effects on cancer cells, because water-soluble Propolis and its gel-filtration fractions increased the L/P activity and antibody-producing cells(PFC activity). Water-soluble Propolis, G-1 and G-2 had preventive effects on cytopenia induced by anti-cancer drugs, probably because they exert stimulatory effects on hemopoietic functions via cytokines such as IL-6 and IL-11. We intended to analyze components of G-1 and G-2, which showed potent anti-tumor effects, by high-performance liquid chromatography.

Gu, Yeun-Hwa,Suzuki, Ikukatu,Hasegawa, Takeo,Hayashi, Ikuo,Hitoshi, Tawaraya,Ahn, Kyoo-Seok INSTITUTE OF ORIENTAL MEDICINE KYUNG-HEE UNIVERSIT 2001 JOURNAL OF ORIENTAL MEDICINE Vol.6 No.1
In recent years the effectiveness of species (Miroku-Tea) as an anti-cancer, anti0biotic effect and anti-virus effect has become more widely known. Furthermore the beneficial effects of species (Miroku-Tea) leaves have also been studied. In this study, we investigated measurement of blood cells, the NK cell activity, the radio-protective and anti-cancer effects of species (Miroku-Tea) extract. The leucocytes and the lymphocyte were transietnly increased after injection of species (Miroku-Tea). Anti-tumor effect was occurred after the injuection of species (Miroku-Tea). NK cells activity increased 2 times after the injection of species (Miroku-Tea) compared with the control group. Radiation protection occurred from the inhibition of body weight loss and also a prolonged the surviving fraction after the injection of species (Miroku-Tea).

Domain-wall structures on an etched surface of the PZN-20 %PT crystal were investigated by the scanning probe microscopy (SPM). It was shown that 90 and 180 domain-wall structures can be observed. The surface charge due to the spontaneous polarization was detected by the electrostatic force microscopy (EFM). It was found that there exist complex 180 domain-wall structures with typical size of 1 m order on the (001)-crystal surface of the PZN-20 %PT.
