A systematic approach was used to develop the empirical model for optimizing the preparation process parameters for the synthesis of LiFe1-x-yMgxTiyPO4/C composite cathode material. For optimizing the production parameters, response surface methodology (RSM) was applied to develop a linear regression model and maximize the discharge capacity. Analysis of the variance (ANOVA) showed that the three variables (Mg-dopant, Ti-dopant and sintering temperature) and the interactions among them were significant factors. Response surfaces formed by RSM illustrated that the doping of Mg and Ti on Fe site had obviously synergistic effect on the discharge capacity. In the process optimization, the parameters were 2.9% of Mg-dopant, 3.0% of Ti-dopant and sintering temperature of 678.5℃, corresponding to a discharge capacity of 136.7 mAh/g predicted by the model. This predicted value was in good agreement with the actual value (136.4 mAh/g) by confirmatory experiment. The optimized LiFe0.941Mg0.029Ti0.030PO4/C composite exhibits a good rate performance and cycling stability due to the enhancement of electronic conductivity and lithium diffusion coefficient (3.1 X 10-12 cm2 /s) by the co-doping of Mg and Ti ions.

Proper process and parameter were investigated to coat Cu or Ni on graphite fl ake (G f ) by electroless plating. Microstructuralcharacterization indicated that the Cu/Ni was coated on the G f uniformly and comprehensively. Then aluminum matrixcomposites reinforced with Si and graphite were fabricated by a unique vacuum gas pressure infi ltration. The thermal conductivityand mechanical properties of the composites, both with and without Cu or Ni coating layers on the graphite surface,have been studied. The obtained results indicated that the mechanical property of the Cu or Ni coated G f /Si/Al compositesdramatically increased, as compared with the non-coated G f /Si/Al composite. In the meantime, Cu or Ni coated G f provedto have better wettability and interfacial bonding with the aluminum matrix, which were expected to be a highly sustainableand dispersible reinforcement for metal matrix composites.

A cyber‐physical system (CPS) is a new mechanism controlled or monitored by computer algorithms that intertwine physical and software components. Advanced persistent threats (APTs) represent stealthy, powerful, and well‐funded attacks against CPSs; they integrate physical processes and have recently become an active research area. Existing offensive and defensive processes for APTs in CPSs are usually modeled by incomplete information game theory. However, honeypots, which are effective security vulnerability defense mechanisms, have not been widely adopted or modeled for defense against APT attacks in CPSs. In this study, a honeypot game‐theoretical model considering both low‐ and high‐interaction modes is used to investigate the offensive and defensive interactions, so that defensive strategies against APTs can be optimized. In this model, human analysis and honeypot allocation costs are introduced as limited resources. We prove the existence of Bayesian Nash equilibrium strategies and obtain the optimal defensive strategy under limited resources. Finally, numerical simulations demonstrate that the proposed method is effective in obtaining the optimal defensive effect.

This study investigates the optimal conditions for the synthesis of battery-grade ferrous oxalate as a raw material for preparing cathode material. Ferrous oxalate was prepared by liquid-phase precipitation method using ferrous sulfate and oxalic acid. Central composite design (CCD) was used to determine the effects of three preparation variables on purity and particle size: reaction temperature, aging time and concentration of ferrous sulfate. Based on CCD, the significant factors on each experimental design response identified the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The optimum ferrous oxalate preparation conditions were obtained reaction temperature of 31.32℃, aging time of 56.52 min, and ferrous sulfate concentration of 5%. Under these optimum conditions, ferrous oxalate with purity of 99.69% and particle size of 4.92 µm was obtained as best product which met and exceed the requirements of battery-grade ferrous oxalate. In addition, the special morphologies of ferrous oxalate prepared under different dispersant proportion was characterized by scanning electron microscope (SEM) to analyze the mechanism of synthesis. Morphology control study revealed that the dispersant could effectively change the surface energy between crystallographic planes, then result in anisotropic growth of the crystal structure and change the morphology of synthetic products.

Vasectomy is a simple, safe, effective, and economical method used worldwide for long-term male contraception. As a sur-gical operation, it has short-term and long-term complications such as hematoma formation, infection, sterilization failure, sperm granulomas, short-term postoperative pain (nodal pain, scrotal pain, and ejaculation pain), and chronic pain syn-drome. Whether it increases the risk of autoimmune disease, cardiovascular disease, testicular cancer, or prostate cancer is still controversial. Changes in plasma concentrations of luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and testosterone after vasectomy have also been studied, as well as the relation between vasectomy and sexual function. Sperm quality de-creases very slowly after vasectomy, and vasovasostomy and intracytoplasmic sperm injection could help a couple achieve a pregnancy if they change their minds at any point. We include a follow-up strategy and suggestions for follow-up care at the end of this review.

Objective: Three genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and a meta-analysis of GWAS were conducted to explore the genetic mechanisms underlying variation in pig teat number. Methods: We performed three GWAS and a meta-analysis for teat number on three pig populations, including a White Duroc${\times}$Erhualian $F_2$ resource population (n = 1,743), a Chinese Erhualian pig population (n = 320) and a Chinese Sutai pig population (n = 383). Results: We detected 24 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) that surpassed the genome-wide significant level on Sus Scrofa chromosomes (SSC) 1, 7, and 12 in the $F_2$ resource population, corresponding to four loci for pig teat number. We highlighted vertnin (VRTN) and lysine demethylase 6B (KDM6B) as two interesting candidate genes at the loci on SSC7 and SSC12. No significant associated SNPs were identified in the meta-analysis of GWAS. Conclusion: The results verified the complex genetic architecture of pig teat number. The causative variants for teat number may be different in the three populations
