Steroid-Responsive Cerebral Vasculitis in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus with Sulcal Hyperintensities

The clinical manifestations of cerebral lupus vasculitis have a wide spectrum of severity which can result in different prognoses. Therefore, its diagnosis and treatment remain challenging without specific guidelines. A 49-year-old woman with systemic lupus erythematosus presented with transient left side paresthesia and dysarthria lasting 20 minutes. Brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed a multifocal diffusion restriction and sulcal hyperintensities in the right middle cerebral artery region. Brain magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) showed multifocal steno-occlusive lesions at her intracranial arteries. Because she only showed transient symptoms, aspirin (100 mg/day), atorvastatin (20 mg/day) and an increased dose of prednisolone (5 mg/day to 10 mg/day) were started, on the suspicion of cerebral lupus vasculitis. Brain MRIs/MRAs renormalized after four months without any recurrence. Cerebral lupus vasculitis manifests diverse clinical and neuroimaging characteristics. Although brain image demonstrates devastating features, tailored immune therapy should be selected based on the severity of the patient’s symptoms.
The Differences in Flow Experience between Leisure and Work

The purpose of this study is to categorize daily activities by level of perceived challenge and skill in the four-channel flow model and to identify the differences in terms of frequency and level of flow experience between leisure and work activities. Text Message Experience Sampling Method(TM-ESM) was developed to collect data using a mobile phone interface instead of the traditional Experience Sampling Form(ESF). The present study partially supported that flow experiences were more likely to occur in work than in leisure. The results also found that there were statistically significant differences in level of overall flow experience between work and leisure activities. After the closer examination of these results, the analysis revealed that it could be differentiated by conditions of perceived skills and challenges. Therefore, results imply that level of skills and challenges is important factors for frequency and level of flow experiences.
Congestive myelopathy due to spinal dural arteriovenous fistula mimicking CNS demyelinating disease

Spinal dural arteriovenous fistula (SDAVF) is known for its ambiguous and various clinical presentations. Among these presentations, congestive myelopathy is one of the most common, yet it is challenging to correctly diagnose SDAVF at initial presentation. Several diseases present as myelopathy, including demyelinating diseases. Herein, we present two cases of congestive myelopathy due to SDAVF presenting to the emergency room (ER) with progressive quadriparesis. Even though the patients had a proper magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination from the initial presentation, there was a delay in making a final diagnosis. Both patients’ clinical presentation and MRI mimicked central nervous system (CNS) demyelinating disease initially, and a more thorough examination revealed SDAVF. Such a delay in diagnosis can result in more neurological deterioration and may result in more sequelae. Hence, SDAVF should always be considered as a differential diagnosis when examining patients with myelopathy.

웹 데이타베이스에서 질의 처리에 사용되는 대부분의 시간은 사용자 질의를 처리하기 위한 인스턴스들을 획득하는데 소요된다. 본 연구에서는 이를 개선하기 위하여 WebDBs(Web DataBase system)에서 사용되는 지역 데이타베이스 구조와 관리 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 지역 데이타베이스는 기존에 검색된 자료를 캐쉬로 저장하고, 다음에 유사한 인스턴스를 요구하는 질의에 이를 재사용 한다. 이때 캐쉬에 저장되는 정보들은 해당 인스턴스를 사용하는 질의를 고려하여 관리하는 기법을 이용한다. 따라서 기존의 네트워크 캐쉬 기법에서 고려하지 않은 웹 질의 지역성(web query locality)을 적용하였다. 그리고 이와 같은 개념의 지역 데이타베이스를 클라이언트 환경의 웹 검색 엔진인 WebDBs 시스템에 적용하여 구현하였다.

우주용 구조물에 사용되는 재료는 치수 안정성을 위해서 열팽창계수를 최소화하도록 설계, 제작되어야 한다. 이를 위하여 우주용 재료 시편의 정밀한 열팽창계수를 측정하여, 그 재료의 열 특성에 대한 정확한 데이터를 확보할 필요가 있다. 그리고 시편뿐만 아니라 실제 사용될 구조물의 열 변형을 우주 환경에서 직접 측정할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고진공에서 정밀한 변위 측정을 위하여 변위 측정 간섭계와 항우연의 보조 챔버를 활용한 열팽창계수 측정 시스템을 설계하였다. 또한 본 측정 시스템은 길이 500㎜ 정도의 긴 구조물의 열 변형을 측정할 수 있으며, 전체 시스템의 불확도는 0.01ppm/K 미만이 되도록 설계되었다. Structures being used in space environment, should be designed to have minimum CTE(coefficient of thermal expansion) for the dimensional stability. Accurate CTE data of the materials are required to design the space structures consisting of various materials. There are uncertainties in the characteristics of materials even though the same manufacturing processes are applied. Therefore, it is needed to measure the thermal deformation of not only the material specimen but also substructures in simulated space environment, such as high vacuum condition. In this research, therefore, precise CTE measurement system using displacement measuring interferometer and vacuum chamber has been designed with uncertainty analysis of the measurements. This system can be used to measure the CTE of the specimen or thermal expansion of the substructure with varying size up to 50cm in length. To measure the low CTE material, overall uncertainty of this system is expected under 0.01ppm/K.
Mobile IP 세대를 대벼한 VMware 기반의 바이러스 Test bed

Mobile IP 단말기들에 탑재되는 운영체제는 일반적인 PC에서 탑재되는 운영체제와는 달리 확실한 독점체제가 확립되지 않은 상태이다. 따라서 당분간 Mobile IP 단말기에 운영되는 운영체제는 다양한 종류의 운영체제가 사용될 것으로 추정된다. 이러한 환경은 운영체제에 상관없이 변종되는 바이러스들에 매우 취약한 환경이며, 개별 단말기에서 사용되는 운영체제가 다양하기 때문에 이들 바이러스를 효율적으로 검출하여 치료하는 기술 개발을 매우 난해하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 VMware를 이용하여 다양한 운영체제에서 변종 바이러스를 테스팅할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 또한 이를 실제 Mobile 환경에서 운영하기 위한 Prototype 시스템을 구축하였다. Contrast operating system installed on traditional PC, operating system installed to mobile IP host is a status not to be established a definite monopoly system. Accordingly, for the time being, it is expected that operating system operated in mobile IP host will be used various operating systems. Regardless of operating system, this condition is a very vulnerable to modified virus. Because operating system used in an individual host is very diverse, It makes technical development to cure complicated in detection efficiently these virus. In this thesis, By using VMware under the various operating system, I desinged and implemented system which is able to test a modified virus. Also I implemented prototype system to operate under the real mobile condition.
