      • Design and Development Land Preparation Machine Combined with Maize Seeder

        Indonesian Government have a target to improve productive land for agriculture and to increase corn and soybean production this year. This program should be supported by all stakeholder. The existing paddy field and dry land is constrained by the massive conversion of agricultural land especially in Java island which reaches 110 thousand hectare per year. Besides that the availability of labor decrease constantly, it give impact in decreasing the agricultural production. These condition make the government target achievement will be difficult. The objective of this research is to develop machinery for land preparation that is combined with corn seeder. This machine is proposed to be used for land preparation and corn seedling in dry land. With this machine the land preparation and corn seedling is done at one time so it will shorten the working time and increase the intensity of planting in one year. The modification is made in some components of crawler tractor so it can be mounted with grain seeder. The indicators of success are 1) the machine can work properly, 2) increased work capacity, 3) decrease of labor cost. The result of this research is expected to help farmer to gain more agricultural yield and help Indonesian government to achieve national self-sufficiency of corn. The result of field test are : field work Capacity is 4.36 hours / ha; fuel requirements: 26.29 l / ha; Wheel Slip: 0.23%; Field work efficiency: 73.96%; Depth of soil: 14.2 cm; Work width: 167.5 cm; distance between rows of plants: 70 cm (adjustable); distance in line 25-30 cm.

        Paramagnetic Zn<sub>(1-x)</sub>Mn<sub>x</sub>O (0.00≤x≤0.06) Nanoparticles Prepared by The Coprecipitation Method

        The Zn1-xMnxO ($0.00{\leq}x{\leq}0.06$) samples have been synthesized in the form of powder by the coprecipitation method at low temperature using $Zn(CH_3COO)_2$. $2H_2O$ and $Mn(CH_3COO)_2$. $4H_2O$ powders, as well as HCl and $NH_4OH$ solutions as starting materials. Characterization was conducted using XRD, TEM, XRF, FTIR and VSM. The result shows that the $Zn_{(1-x)}Mn_xO$ ($0.00{\leq}x{\leq}0.06$) nanoparticles have the wurtzite phase with a hexagonal structure and particle sizes ranging from 17.48 to 118.83 nm. In a qualitative analysis of XRF, the peaks that confirm the existence of the manganese element in Mn-doped ZnO samples were observed. Meanwhile, FTIR test result shows that there are peaks at around $500cm^{-1}$ and $400cm^{-1}$ in the FTIR spectra for Mn doped ZnO samples which clearly reveal the existence of the (Zn, Mn)-O strain mode. The (Zn, Mn)-O absorption peak positions have shifted to a lower wave number with increasing Mn doping content. The peak intensity is also lower if compared to that of the ZnO sample without doping. From the VSM test, it is shown that $Zn_{(1-x)}Mn_xO$ ($0.00{\leq}x{\leq}0.06$) nanoparticles are all paramagnetic having monotonically increased susceptibility as increasing Mn content.

        Organizational Commitment and Loyalty: A Millennial Generation Perspective in Indonesia

        The study aims to investigate the organizational commitment and loyalty among millennial generation employees in Integrated Islamic Schools. The study gathered information and data from three different Islamic education institutions in Central Java, Indonesia. A total of 261 responses gathered using an online questionnaire distributed among millennial generation employees on each institution. The result then analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis with the help of SPSS and SEM AMOS. From the analysis, it is found that employee trust and satisfaction strongly impacted employee organizational commitment, and employee organizational commitment strongly impacted employee loyalty, both attitudinal and behavioral. Test for model robustness was also conducted accordingly within suggestions from the previous research, resulted in quite different findings especially in continuance commitment variable. This study pointed out the importance of trust and satisfaction to maintain the millennials employee, and the importance of millennial understanding especially in the education sector. This study provides the reference for future organizational commitment and loyalty study among the millennial generation especially in a growing nation like Indonesia and pointed out the importance of the generational study on organizational behavior topics.

        The Effect of Workplace Spirituality on Workplace Deviant Behavior and Employee Performance: The Role of Job Satisfaction

        This study aims to analyze the effect of workplace spirituality in reducing workplace deviant behavior through job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance. The objectives of this study are to explore and investigate (1) the effect of workplace spirituality on workplace deviant behavior; (2) the effect of workplace spirituality on job satisfaction; (3) the effect of workplace spirituality on employee performance; (4) the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance; (5) the effect of workplace deviant behavior on employee performance; and (6) the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between workplace spirituality and workplace deviant behavior. This study was conducted with 143 permanent non-lecturer staff at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The data analysis technique employed in this study was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that workplace spirituality affected workplace deviant behavior; workplace spirituality affected job satisfaction; job satisfaction affected employee performance; and workplace deviant behavior affected employee performance. Meanwhile, the findings further showed that workplace spirituality did not affect employee performance; job satisfaction did not affect workplace deviant behavior; and job satisfaction could not mediate the effect of workplace spirituality on workplace deviant behavior.

        Youth Social Networking Service (SNS) Behavior in Indonesian Culinary Activity

        Purpose: In this paper, we provide an illustration of Indonesian youth Social Networking Service (SNS) behavior and its relation to their culinary activity. Specifically, their behavior of culinary activity preferences and also the factors affecting their action of spending their money. Data and methodology: We gathered primary data from stratified random questionnaire survey (406 youth). The gathered data was analyzed using text data mining and statistics using R statistical computing language. Results: 1) We found out why our respondents are interested in following the accounts of SNS food influencers: i.e. visually attracted to the posts, as their reference to find places to dine out, as their reference to try new food menu and to get nostalgic feeling about the food. 2) The respondents decide to actually go to the recommended culinary places because of several factors, specifically, its description (visual and text), location, word of mouth (WoM), the experience of being to that place and price. 3) Important factors affecting culinary spent are income, number of following food influencer account, SNS usage t

        The impact of career development on employee performance: an empirical study of the public sector in Indonesia

        This article examines the infl uence of career development on employee performance in public sector, mediated by perceived organizational support, work motivation, and affective commitment. By analyzing the perceptions of 250 civil servants in 15 regional branches of Ministry of Finance of Indonesia, and using structural equation analysis with SmartPLS 2.0 program, the findings reveal that career development has positive direct influence on perceived organizational support, motivation, and affective commitment. However, career development has no direct influence on performance. The indirect examination shows that mediating variables are perceived to have significant influence in strengthening that relationship. These findings theoretically imply that career development may be dependent on the extent to which organization is capable of providing perceived organizational support and motivation in promoting affective commitment and performance. Practically, these findings reveal the importance of both Indonesian’s central and local government to implement performance-based rewards.

        A New Cinnamyl Acid Derivative from the Roots of Willughbeia coriacea Wall.

        A new cinnamyl acid derivative, willughbein A (1) along with pinoresinol (2), alyterinate A (3), and scopoletin (4), were isolated from the roots of Willughbeia coriacea Wall. The structure of 1 has been determined based on HRESIMS, 1D, and 2D NMR spectral data. All of the isolates were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against three human cancer cells (HeLa, T47D, MCF-7, and P-388). Compound 3 showed moderate activity against P-388 cells with an IC50 value of 3.04 μg/mL.
