1.54 μm photoluminescence emission at room-temperature of erbium-implanted lithium niobate crystal

Erbium doped materials are of great interest in integrated optoelectronic technology, due to their Er³+ intra-4f emission at 1.54 μm, a standard telecommunication wavelength. Lithium niobate crystals (LN) are of great importance for fabrication of integrated optical devices, due to their excellent properties such as high electro-optical coefficient, low propagation loss, and high Curie temperature. Lithium niobate crystal has been implanted with 500 keV Er ions at a fluence of 3.0×10 15 ions/㎝² with the aim of optically doping the material in the near surface region. In order to recrystallize the amorphized implanted region the sample was annealed at 500℃ for 90 min in oxygen atmosphere. Photoluminescence (PL) and Rutherford backscattering spectrometry studies were performed on the as-implanted sample before and after annealing. 1.54 μm room-temperature photoluminescence emission was observed in the annealed sample. The relationship between annealing temperature and photoluminescence intensity is discussed.

The U-Pb ages of single zircon grains contained in the sandstone samples were analyzed by the LA-ICP-MS method, the sediment provenances and geological significance were discussed. The LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating from the sandstones, tuffaceous sandstones and volcanic tuffs of the Pingliang and Zhaolaoyu Formations along the southwestern Ordos Block are used to limit the maximum depositional age and material sources. The results show that: (1) The youngest ages of zircon dating in the three samples are 445 Ma, 444 Ma and 443 Ma, respectively, suggesting that the studied Formations were deposited in the Late Ordovician. (2) The detrital zircon U-Pb age analysis of the sandstones sample from the Pinliang Formation clustered in the 445–477 Ma, 588–1548 Ma and 1612–2496 Ma with the corresponding youngest peak age of 454.5 ± 3.3 Ma. (3) The distribution of zircon U-Pb age in sandstone samples showing that the sedimentary rocks detritus was mainly sourced from the North Qinling-Qilian terranes and the NCC, and has double provenance supply in the north and south. The material source of the tuffaceous sandstones and volcanic tuffs mainly comes from the volcanic and magmatic activity related to the North Qilian-North Qinling Island Arcs.
Optical Waveguide Formed in a LiTaO3 Crystal by Using MeV C3+ Ion Implantation

Planar waveguides were formed in LiTaO3 crystals by using 6.0-MeV C3+-ion implantation at room temperature. The prism-coupling method was used to take dark mode measurements at both 633 nm and 1539 nm. The reflectivity calculation method was used to reconstruct the refractive index profile in the waveguide. TRIM’98 (Transport of Ions in Matter) was also used to simulate the damage distribution in the LiTaO3. Barrier-confined waveguides were found to be formed in LiTaO3. Possible reasons for the different refractive-index profiles in the LiTaO3 and the LiNbO3waveguides are discussed.

『尚書』, 據『釋文』所載爲“本王之號令, 右史所記。孔子刪錄, 斷自唐虞下訖秦穆, 典謨、訓誥、誓命之文”, 是記錄夏、商、周時期最早的歷史文獻。由於其書早爲人所重視, 先秦諸子, 尤其是儒家經典『左傳』『禮記』等多次引用。李善亦將其視爲重要文獻, 因此他曾多次注引『尚書』以及相關文獻。目前, 李善注引『尚書』的研究成果與他經相比尤爲豐富, 如趙建成主要以『隋志』來整理善引各『尚書』之相關文獻有何不同, 提出亡佚的情況以及糾正其中的訛誤;劉高尚考察了李善引『尚書』的相關文本, 主要對其各本亡佚情況加以探討;日本學者斯波六郎通過李善注引『尚書』, 主要考證『尚書』各文本之間的關係。本文, 筆者主要是從其所引『書』相關文獻、古今孔傳文之別、鄭玄『尚書』注等各家注、舊注所載『書』文等問題, 綜合前人的研究成果對李善注引『書』的問題作一整體性的研究。 In Lishan's citations of Shangshu, although Kong Anguo's annotations play the main role, the citations from the editions by Marong, Zhengxuan and Wangbi should not be ignored. Such as "Shun Dian" and related parts are quoted from Wangsu's edition. "Ouyang Shangshushuo" is quoted from Shuowen. One of Xiashu's citations is quoted from Guoyu by Weizhao's version, and the other’s from Shuowen. Liuxiang's "Shangshu Wuxing Shuo" and "Shangshu Shu" each exist one material, which are now out of the way of investigation. In addition, the quoted texts from Shangshu which are not the same as the edition of Zhengyi, might refer to the earlier and better editions seen at that time, or from the Yingshao's "Hanshu Zhu", Xuguang's "Shiji Zhengyi", Heyan's "Lunyu Jijie" and Shuowen annotations.
Volatile Compounds of Orange Wines Produced with and without Peel Contact

The present study focused on the effects of peel contact on the volatile compounds of orange wines. The volatile compounds were analyzed by sensory and instrumental analyses. Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) was used for extraction of volatile compounds. A total of 19 and 27 volatile compounds were identified in without and with peel contact wines respectively. Esters were quantitatively the dominant group of volatile compounds in without peel contact wines, while terpenes were the most abundant compounds in peel contact wines. Totally 11 and 14 new formed compounds were found in without and with peel contact wines, mainly were esters, alcohols, and acids. According to sensory analysis, the peel contact wine showed a more citrus-like and fruity aroma than the wines without peel contact.

A total of 285 patients with stage Ib2 and IIa2 cervical cancer were categorized into three groups, and received preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with vaginal intracavitary irradiation, neoadjuvant chemotherapy alone or radiotherapy, respectively. The effective rate of 70.6 % in group 1 was much higher than 41.4% in group 2 (P=0.000) and 46.9 % in group 3 (P=0.000); The percentage of patients receiving postoperative adjuvant therapy was 44.1% in group 1, much lower than 67.8% in group 2 (P=0.001) and 64.6% in group 3 (P=0.004); The percentage of patients with no postoperative risk factor in group 1 was 52.0%, much higher than 32.2% in group 2 (P=0.006) and 35.4% in group 3 (P=0.019); The occurrence rate of surgery-related complications in groups 1, 2 and 3 were 29.4%, 28.7%, and 33.3%, respectively, with no statistical differences among the groups (P=0.981). Regarding preoperative neoadjuvant complications, none were obvious in group 3, while occurrence rates of myelosuppression in groups 1 and 2 were 89.1% and 86.6%, of nausea and vomitting were 78.4% and 78.2%, but without significant differences (all P>0.05). Among 166 patients who received postoperative adjuvant therapy in the three groups, the occurrence rates were: 65.4%, 64.3% and 61.1% respectively for myelosuppression; 42.3%, 38.1%, and 38.9% for nausea and vomiting; 9.6%, 9.5% and 9.7% for urocystitis; and 63.5%, 69.0% and 65.3% enteritis and rectitis. There were no statistically significant differences among them (all P>0.05). The five-year disease-free survival rates (DFS) in groups 1, 2, 3 were 78.3%, 75.1%, 80.9%, respectively; the five-year overall survival rates (OS) were 81.4%, 78.2%, and 81.1%, respectively. The five-year OS of 166 patients receiving postoperative in the three groups were 72.4%, 69.5%, and 71.8%, respectively, with no significant variation (all P>0.05). Although there were no differences among three groups in DFS and OS, preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with intracavitary radiotherapy may increase the effective rate and the percentage of patients with no postoperative risk factors and decrease the percentage of patients receiving postoperative adjuvant therapy, thereby decreasing complications indirectly and increasing quality of life.

<P>A novel concept of D-A-type copolymers based on fluorene polymer incorporated with 3,6-carbazole unit enhances the device performance for organic photovoltaic cells. P(F45C5-DTBT), incorporating 5 mol % 3,6-carbazole into P(2,7F-DTBT), shows an almost 2-fold improvement (5.1%) in power conversion efficiency relative to P(2,7F-DTBT) (2.6%). This results is ascribed to the good balance between electron and hole mobilities in the devices (mu(e)/mu(h) similar to 1.8 for P(F45C5-DTBT) vs 152 for P(2,7F-DTBT)), and the formation of a nanoscale morphology in the blend of the copolymer and [6,6]-phenyl C71-butyric acid methyl ester (PC71BM).</P>
