Vitamin and mineral deletion from swine diets can result in reduced growth if done during the period wher muscle and bone development is occurring. Several of the vitamins and minerals decline in the serum during the starter period, suggesting a higher dietary inclusion may be necessary postweaning. Vitamin research with grower-finisher pigs is limited, but results suggest that rapidly growing lean pigs may have a higher dietary requirement for the B vitamins. Several studies have suggested that early weaning and pigs of a lean genotype may have a dietary requirement for vitamin C, CI and Cr. High dietary vitamin E levels are fortified in the diet and seems to be effective in preventing mulberry heart problems in weanling and grower pigs. Organic Se is more effectively retained in muscle tissue than inorganic Se, approximately 20% less is excreted, but the bioavailability of organic Se for glutathione peroxidase activity is only 80 to 90% to that of sodium selenite. The active form of thyroxine (T4) is dependent upon a Se containing enzyme. Withdrawal of vitamins and minerals during the latter part of the finisher period has not affected pig performance responses, but studies with poultry suggest that the vitamin content of the meat may be reduced if the vitamins are withdrawn prior to marketing. High levels of vitamin E have been shown to improve pork quality, by reducing drip loss. Studies with vitamin C and Se have suggested that they may also be involved in pork quality.
Four Point Bending Test for Adhesion Testing of Packaging Strictures: A Review

To establish the reliability of a packaging structures, adhesion testing of key interfaces is a critical task. Due to the material mismatch, the interface may be prone to delamination failure due to conditions during the manufacturing of the product or just from the day-to-day use. To assess the reliability of the interface adhesion strength testing can be performed during the design phase of the product. One test method of interest is the four-point bending (4PB) adhesion strength test method. This test method has been implemented in a variety of situations to evaluate the adhesion strength of interfaces in bimaterial structures to the interfaces within thin film multilayer stacks. This article presents a review of the 4PB adhesion strength testing method and key implementations of the technique in regards to semiconductor packaging.
MMORPG에서 QuadTree의 단노드를 이용한 그리드 공간 분할 기법

최근 컴퓨터 하드웨어의 급속한 발전으로 3D 게임 산업이 발전하고 온라인상에서 여러 사용자가 즐기는 3D 온라인 게임이 증가하면서 대규모 실외 지형의 실시간 공간 분할 기법이 중요한 주제로 떠오르고 있다. 본 논문에서는 MMORPG에서 눂이값을 가지지 않는 정적/동적 객체에 대하여 보다 효율적인 공간분할을 할 수 있도록 기존의 공간분할 방법의 하나인 QuadTree기법을 개선하여 보다 빠른 렌더링 향상을 위한 공간 분할 기법을 제안하였다. 또한 기존 공간 분할 기법과의 시뮬레이션 결과를 통하여 제안한 알고리즘이 MMORPG 온라인 게임에서 더 빠른 렌더링 향상을 보였다. Many geometric algorithms are based on spatial partitions. One of the most popular methods to obtain a composition of space is with a QuadTree. This method is usually used for space partitioning some static objects, moving objects, and massive map in 3D computer games. We present a new method to do space-partitioning for dynamic and static objects using leaf nodes of QuadTree on MMORPG. But this space partition method is not useful when a hero does not moving upward such as jumping or flying. The new method is based on a simple technique for space partitioning using a QuadTree without root nodes. The simulation result shows good rendering frame rate. The response time of the rendering per second is O(logn) in the worst case, and O(1) expected.
White Privilege, Ethnic Identity, and Religious Education

What follows is a reflection on teaching, contextualized by two sometimes complementary, sometimes tensive elements: (1) my commitment as a theological educator to deploying the literature of the social construction of whiteness in order to address questions of white privilege and racism and (2) my ambivalent reaction to this same literature, especially when the subject turns to Irish-American racism. I will first describe and interpret both my sympathy for and resistance to elements of the literature of the social construction of whiteness. Next, I will attend to the complex interaction between what I judge to be the “null” and “implicit” curricula inscribed within some of this literature and how these tacit elements interact with elements of my own Irish-American identity strongly enough to impact my teaching. In a brief concluding segment, I will move from anecdotal reflections on teaching to a brief methodological statement on the importance of systematic analysis of the “tacit dimensions” of teaching and learning.

Using aluminium metal matrix nanocomposites has recently gained increased attention in the industry due to their high strength and ductility. In this paper, TiO2 nanoparticles in volume percentages of 5 wt. % were added to the AA2024 alloy using the stir casting method. Using a novel powder injection system, TiO2 nanoparticles with an average particle size of 30 ± 5 nm was added to the matrix. The influence of TiO2 content on the fatigue life before and after heat treatment was studied. The results showed the fatigue properties of AA2024 with TiO2 nanoparticles increased after heat treatment. The optimum improvement in fatigue properties was obtained at 5 wt. % TiO2 after heat treatment, with an improving fatigue life in 14.71% compared with sample based. This is due to an increased number of fine precipitates besides its uniformly distributed after heat treatment. The fatigue life of the composite materials with added nanoparticles was investigated using a finite element-based ANSYS workbench. There was a good match between what happened in the experiments and what happened to the numerical fatigue strength. For the composite materials, the difference between the experimental and numerical values of fatigue strength was not greater than 4% for the matrix. The results also, indicated that, after ageing, the precipitate-free zone at the inter-dendritic zone disappeared or became smaller. However, after adding 5 wt. % of titanium and, also, performing heat treatment, it is not possible to precipitate the Al2CuMg precipitates, and, instead of it, the Al3TiCu and Al7TiCu phases precipitates have been formed.

Focussed this paper lies introducing facilities for space structure, enabling us to do balanced regional development, differential development of facilities and development of comfortable facilities by realizing development of facilities with consideration of the type of existing development plan. After all, researcher can say that this paper is the result of research and analysis verifying that facilities to accommodate gradually increasing marine tourists properly are keenly necessary. Finally, this paper suggests that it will be necessary to systematically enforce development as centers for leisure/sports, rest/amusement, natural view sightseeing, education of marine culture or experience of ecological environment.

A study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of various injectable forms of vitamin E on the transfer of sow vitamin E to colostrum and milks. Twenty multiparous sows were injected intramuscularly with d-α-tocopherol, dl-α-tocopherol and d-α-tocopheryl acetate at 8.8 ㎎/㎏ body weight at 100 ant 107 day postcoitum. A saline injected group served as the control. Colostrum and milk samples were collected manually and two pigs per litter were bled with serum saved for tocopherol analysis at 7 and 21 day of age. Sow reproductive performance and subsequent litter response were similar among treatment groups. Sows injected with the vitamin E products had higher (P$lt;.05) serum tocopherol levels than the control group after 1 week of first injection (107 day postcoitum). Colostrum from the sows injected vitamin E products contained about 3 times more α-tocopherol dean the control group. Alpha-tocopherol levels diclined from colostrum to 7 day milk. Only tje d-α-tocopherol injection group had higher 7 day milk tocopherol contents than the other groups, with no difference in 21 day milk for all groups. Pigs from vitamin E injected sows had higher serum α-tocopherol concentrations than the control sow group at 7 day but not at 21 days of age.
