<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We report results from a study of the charmed double strange baryons Ωc0 and Ωc∗0 at Belle. The Ωc0 is reconstructed using the Ωc0→Ω−π+ decay mode, and its mass is measured to be (2693.6±0.3−1.5+1.8) MeV/c2. The Ωc∗0 baryon is reconstructed in the Ωc0γ mode. The mass difference MΩc∗0−MΩc0 is measured to be (70.7±0.9−0.9+0.1) MeV/c2. The analysis is performed using 673 fb−1 of data on and near the ϒ(4S) collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider.</P>
A method for purifying reprocessed uranium from even isotopes under conditions of multiple recycle
Smirnov A. Yu.,Palkin V.A.,Chistov A.V.,Sulaberidze G.A. 한국원자력학회 2022 Nuclear Engineering and Technology Vol.54 No.10
We proposed a modification of a double cascade scheme to enrich reprocessed uranium. Such a cascade scheme represents a combination of one cascade with “broadening” of the flow and an ordinary threeflow cascade. A calculation and optimization method has been developed for the proposed scheme according to various efficiency criteria. It is shown that the proposed scheme makes it possible to obtain low-enriched uranium of commercial quality using reprocessed uranium of different initial compositions. For example, the enrichment of reprocessed uranium, which had gone through five consequent recycles, was considered. The proposed scheme allowed to enrich it with simultaneous fulfillment of restrictions on isotopes 232U, 234U, and 236U. Such results indicate the scheme's applicability under conditions of multiple recycling of uranium in reactor fuel. Computational experiments have shown that in the proposed modification, a noticeable saving of natural uranium in the cycle (~18%) can be achieved, provided that the additional consumption of separative work does not exceed 10%, compared with the case of enrichment of natural uranium to obtain LEU of equivalent quality.

Urquijo, P.,Barberio, E.,Adachi, I.,Aihara, H.,Arinstein, K.,Bakich, A. M.,Belous, K.,Bhardwaj, V.,Bischofberger, M.,Bozek, A.,Brač,ko, M.,Browder, T. E.,Chao, Y.,Chen, A.,Cheon, B. G.,Chistov, R American Physical Society 2010 Physical review letters Vol.104 No.2
<P>We present the partial branching fraction for inclusive charmless semileptonic B decays and the corresponding value of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element vertical bar V-ub vertical bar, using a multivariate analysis method to access similar to 90% of the B -> X(u)l nu phase space. This approach dramatically reduces the theoretical uncertainties from the b-quark mass and nonperturbative QCD compared to all previous inclusive measurements. The results are based on a sample of 657 X 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs collected with the Belle detector. We find that Delta B(B -> X(u)l nu; p(l)*(B) > 1.0 GeV/c) = 1.963X(1 +/- 0.088(stat) +/- 0.081(syst)) X 10(-3). Corresponding values of vertical bar V-ub vertical bar are extracted using several theoretical calculations.</P>

Inami, K.,Ohshima, T.,Kaji, H.,Adachi, I.,Aihara, H.,Arinstein, K.,Aulchenko, V.,Aushev, T.,Bedny, I.,Bhardwaj, V.,Bondar, A.,Brač,ko, M.,Browder, T.E.,Chang, M.-C.,Chao, Y.,Chistov, R.,Cho, I.-S Elsevier 2009 Physics letters: B Vol.672 No.3
<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We have studied hadronic <I>τ</I> decay modes involving an <I>η</I> meson using 490 fb−1 of data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider. The following branching fractions have been measured: B(τ−→K−ηντ)=(1.58±0.05±0.09)×10−4, B(τ−→K−π0ηντ)=(4.6±1.1±0.4)×10−5, B(τ−→π−π0ηντ)=(1.35±0.03±0.07)×10−3, B(τ−→π−KS0ηντ)=(4.4±0.7±0.2)×10−5, and B(τ−→K∗−ηντ)=(1.34±0.12±0.09)×10−4. These results are substantially more precise than previous measurements. The new measurements are compared with theoretical calculations based on the CVC hypothesis or the chiral perturbation theory. We also set upper limits on branching fractions for <I>τ</I> decays into K−KS0ηντ, π−KS0π0ηντ, K−ηηντ, π−ηηντ and non-resonant K−π0ηντ final states.</P>
