        Supply Chain Network Design Model Considering Supplier and Route Disruptions: Hybrid Genetic Algorithm Approach

        In this paper, a supply chain network design (SCND) model considering supplier disruption and route disruption simultaneously is proposed. Since most of conventional studies have focused either on supplier disruption only or on route disruption only, the simultaneous consideration of supplier disruption and route disruption in the SCND model can reinforce its flexibility and efficiency. The SCND model is represented as a mathematical formulation and implemented using a hybrid genetic algorithm (HGA) approach, one of the meta-heuristic approaches. In numerical experiment, the performance of the HGA approach is compared with those of some conventional approaches using various-sized SCND models, and a sensitivity analysis considering i) the change of the number of main suppliers and ii) that of the number of the backup routes at main suppliers is done. Experimental results show that the HGA approach outperforms the conventional competing approaches, and the flexibility and efficiency of the SCND model proposed in this paper is also proved. Finally, the significance of this paper is summarized and a future research direction is remarked in conclusion.

        Euthanasia is one of the most sensitive issues which directly related to the human right to life and social psychology, and it is a topic that directly affects whether a person will live or die in the future. As a component of multifaceted social relations, euthanasia is a complex concept that includes ethics, medicine, legal science, and religious and customary norms. The issue and problems about euthanasia, which arises from the its development and trends in legal science in our country and foreign, has been discussed regularly, eventhough has not yet been resolved. The Mongolian Law on Health and other medical legal acts do not prohibit euthanasia, and regulated open to refuse continue treatment procedure, while from a criminal point of view, euthanasia is prohibited by criminal law. For example, if a doctor performs euthanasia with the consent of a client or his / her relatives, he / she will be considered a criminal and sentenced to 8~15 years in prison according to Article 10.1 of the 2015 Criminal Code of Mongolia. Moreover, the 2010 Supreme Court’s General Interpretation states that the killing of a victim with the victim’s consent should be categorized as such. Since no such study has been conducted before, we intend to conduct this study because there has not been done any comprehensive medical and legal survey to determine the knowledge and attitudes of physicians and caregivers of patients about the legal environment. furthermore the palliative care has been developed in Mongolia for 20 years which can relieve pains and other issues made patient and their family don not seek decline treatment. On the other hand, the development of a democratic society raises the issue of human rights at a time when human rights issues are on the rise.

        조립산업에서 공급 붕괴를 고려한 공급망 네트워크모델: 혼합유전알고리즘 접근법

        본 연구에서는 조립산업의 공급망(Supply chain)에서의 발생할 수 있는 공급붕괴(Supply disruption)를 고려한 공급망 네트워크(Supply chain network: SCN) 모델이 제안된다. 공급붕괴를 위해 공급자 붕괴(Supplier disruption)와 경로 붕괴(Route disruption)가 함께 SCN 모델에서 고려되며, 이러한 두 가지의 붕괴 현상을 함께 고려한 SCN 모델은 유연성(Flexibility)과 효율성(Efficiency)을 성취할 수 있게 된다. SCN 모델은 수리모형으로 표현되며, 혼합유전알고리즘(Proposed hybrid genetic algorithm: pro-HGA) 접근법을 이용해 이행된다. 수치실험에서는 몇몇 상이한 규모를 가진 SCN 모델을 이용해 제안된 pro-HGA 접근법의 수행도와 기존 접근법의 수행도를 비교분석하였으며, 공급자 수와 백업경로(Backup route) 수의 변화를 통한 민감도 분석을 실시하였다. 실험 결과, 제안된 pro-HGA 접근법의 효율성을 입증하였고, SCN 모델의 유연성과 효용성을 검증하였다. 마지막으로 본 연구 수행의 의의 및 향후 개선방향에 대해 논하였다. This study proposes a supply chain network (SCN) model considering supply disruption in assembly industry. For supply disruption, supplier disruption and its route disruption are simultaneously taken into consideration in the SCN model. With the simultaneous consideration, the SCN model can achieve its flexibility and efficiency. A mathematical formulation is suggested for representing the SCN model, and a proposed hybrid genetic algorithm (pro-HGA) is used for implementing the mathematical formulation. In numerical experiment, the performance of the pro-HGA approach is compared with those of some conventional approaches using the SCN models with various scales, and a sensitivity analysis considering the change of the numbers of suppliers and backup routes is done. Experimental results show that the performances of the pro-HGA approach are superior to those of the conventional approaches, and the flexibility and efficiency of the SCN model considering supply disruption are proved. Finally, the significance of this study is summarized and a potential future research direction is mentioned in conclusion.

        Integrated Logistics Network Optimization by Using a Hybrid Genetic Algorithm

        In this paper, we suggest an integrated logistics network optimization (ILNO). For designing the ILNO, the part supplier, part inventory center, module manufacturer, product manufacturer, distribution center, retailer, customer, collection center, remanufacturing center, used market and waste disposal center in forward logistics (FL) and reverse logistics (RL) are taken into consideration. Therefore, the ILNO combines and integrates FL and RL. For the integration concept, several new parts from the part supplier in FL and several recovered parts from the remanufacturing center in RL are sent to the part inventory center, and all of them are then sent to the module manufacturer in FL. A mathematical formulation for representing the ILNO is suggested and is then implemented in a proposed hybrid genetic algorithm (pro-HGA) approach. In a numerical experiment, various comparisons between the pro-HGA approach and other conventional approaches are performed using several scales of the ILNO. The experimental results prove that the pro-HGA approach is more efficient than the others.

        Customized Model of Cold Chain Logistics Considering Hypergeometric Distribution

        In this study, a customized model (CM) for the efficient operation of cold chain logistics considering the hypergeometric distribution is proposed. The CM focuses on the segmentation market of ready-to-eat foods and juices made from fresh materials. Companies should determine the amount of production by predicting consumer preferences and quantity to ensure high-efficiency production. The CM is represented as a mathematical formulation and implemented using the genetic algorithm (GA). Addition, the relative weights of CM are calculated. Further, the calculated weights are applied to the GA. In the numerical experiment, hypergeometric distribution is used to calculate the relative weights between the range of production quantities and the customized amount. Experiment results are the values of relative weights and the comparison results by average values of handling cost, total cost and CPU time. Finally, the significance of this study is summarized and a future research direction is remarked in conclusion.

        폐쇄루프 공급망 모델을 이용한 혼합형유전알고리즘 접근법

        본 연구는 폐쇄루프 공급망 모델(Closed-Loop Supply Chain Model)을 이용하여 새로운 형태의 혼합형유전알고리즘(Proposed Hybrid Genetic Algorithm: pro-HGA)접근법의 수행도를 평가하기 위한 논문이다. 제안한 폐쇄루프 공급망 모델은 물류네트워크에서 순방향물류(Forward Logistics)와 역물류(Reverse Logistics)를 함께 고려한 통합형 물류모델이며. 이 모델에서는 회수된 제품의 재사용(Reuse), 재판매(Resale) 및 폐기(Waste Disposal)를 함께 고려하고 있다. 제안된 모델의 이행을 위해 기존연구에서 제안한 유전알고리즘(Genetic Algorithm: GA), 혼합형유전알고리즘(Hybrid Genetic Algorithm: HGA)과 본 연구에서 제안한 pro-HGA를 함께 적용하여 각 접근법들의 우수성을 비교분석하였다. 분석결과 본 연구에서 제안한 pro-HGA가 기존의 GA, HGA보다 더 우수한 결과를 얻었다. This paper is to evaluate the performance of a proposed hybrid genetic algorithm (pro-HGA) approach using closed-loop supply chain (CLSC) model. The proposed CLSC model is a integrated supply chain network model both with forward logistics and reverse logistics. In the proposed CLSC model, the reuse, resale and waste disposal using the returned products are taken into consideration. For implementing the proposed CLSC model, two conventional approaches and the pro-HGA are used in numerical experiment and their performances are compared with each other using various measures of performance. The experimental results show that the pro-HGA approach is more efficient in locating optimal solution than the other competing approaches.

        Green Supply Chain Network Model: Genetic Algorithm Approach

        본 연구에서는 그린공급망(green supply chain: gSC) 네트워크 모델이 제안된다. 제안된 gSC 네트워크 모델은 환경적 요인 및 경제적 요인을 고려한다. 환경적 요인으로는 부품 및 제품 수송 과정에서 발생하는 CO2 발생량의 총비용 최소화를 고려하며, 경제적 요인으로는 부품 및 제품 생산처리에 필요한 처리비용, 수송과정에서 발생하는 수송비용, 각 단계에서 고려되는 설비들의 개설을 위한 개설비용의 최소화를 고려한다. 수리모형에서는 환경적 요인 및 경제적 요인을 위해 고려되는 다양한 비용들의 총합의 최소화를 목적함수로 사용하며, 각 단계 간 수송량의 제약 등 다양한 제약조건을 함께 고려한다. 제안된 수리모형의 이행을 위해 유전알고리즘(Genetic algorithm: GA) 접근법을 사용한다. 수치실험에서는 네 가지 규모의 gSC 네트워크 모델을 제시하고, 이를 다양한 수행도 척도들을 사용하여 GA 접근법을 통해 해결하였다. 실험결과는 제안된 gSC 네트워크 모델과 GA 접근법의 우수성을 입증하였다. In this paper, we design a green supply chain (gSC) network model. For constructing the gSC network model, environmental and economic factors are taken into consideration in it. Environmental factor is to minimize the $CO_2$ emission amount emitted when transporting products or materials between each stage. For economic factor, the total cost which is composed of total transportation cost, total handling cost and total fixed cost is minimized. To minimize the environmental and economic factors simultaneously, a mathematical formulation is proposed and it is implemented in a genetic algorithm (GA) approach. In numerical experiment, some scales of the gSC network model is presented and its performance is analyzed using the GA approach. Finally, the efficiencies of the gSC network model and the GA approach are proved.

        폐쇄루프 공급망 모델 최적화를 위한 적응형혼합유전알고리즘 접근법

        본 연구에서는 적응형혼합유전알고리즘(Adaptive Hybrid Genetic Algorithm: AHGA) 접근법을 이용한 폐쇄루프 공급망(Closed-Loop Supply Chain: CLSC) 모델 최적화를 다루고 있다. CLSC 모델 구축을 위해 공급업체(Part Supplier), 제품제조업체(Product Manufacturer)등으로 구성된 전방향물류(Forward Logistics)와 수집업체(Collection Center), 회복센터(Recovery Center)등으로 구성된 역물류(Reverse Logistics)를 함께 고려하고 있다. 제안된 CLSC 모델은 수리모형(Mathematical Model)으로 표현되며, AHGA접근법을 이용해 이행되어 그 최적해를 구하게 된다. 수치실험에서는 기존연구에서 제안된 몇몇 접근법과 AHGA 접근법을 함께 사용하여 그 수행도를 비교분석하였다. The Optimization of a Closed-Loop Supply Chain (CLSC) Model Using an Adaptive Hybrid Genetic Algorithm (AHGA) Approach is Considered in this Paper. With Forward and Reverse Logistics as an Integrated Logistics Concept, The CLSC Model is Consisted of Various Facilities Such as Part Supplier, Product Manufacturer, Collection Center, Recovery Center, etc. A Mathematical Model and the AHGA Approach are Used for Representing and Implementing the CLSC Model, Respectively. Several Conventional Approaches Including the AHGA Approach are Used for Comparing their Performances in Numerical Experiment.

        역물류 네트워크를 이용한 지방자치단체생활폐기물 운영효율화 방안

        In this paper, we propose an efficient methodology of daily waste collection at a local autonomous entity using reverse logistics (RL) network. Currently, five district offices (Dong-gu, Nam-gu, Buk-gu, Seo-gu, Gwangsan-gu) at the local autonomous entity are treating their daily wastes by using a RL network. However, the current practice reflected inefficiency of network operation and the necessity of integration of each RL network. Therefore, we propose a revised method through a mathematical model for improving efficiency and integration. In conducting the case study, various real-life data for comparing each method were used. Various analyses and comparisons including sensitivity analysis were performed. Finally, we prove that our proposed method is more efficient than the current method.
