ĆIRIĆ TYPE ALPHA-PSI F-CONTRACTION INVOLVING FIXED POINT ON A CLOSED BALL

Hussain, Aftab The Honam Mathematical Society 2019 호남수학학술지 Vol.41 No.1

The article is written with a view to introducing the new idea of an F-contraction on a closed ball and have new ${\acute{C}}iri{\acute{c}}$ type fixed point theorems in the framework of a complete metric space. That is why this outcome becomes useful for the contraction of the mapping on a closed ball instead of the whole space. At the same time, some comparative examples are constructed which establish the superiority of our results. It can be stated that the results that have come into being give proof of extension as well as substantial generalizations and improvements of several well known results in the existing comparable literature.

r-notion of conjugacy in partial transformation semigroup

Aftab Hussain Shah,Mohd Rafiq Parray 강원경기수학회 2022 한국수학논문집 Vol.30 No.1

In this paper, we present a new definition of conjugacy that can be applied to an arbitrary semigroup and it does not reduce to the universal relation in semigroups with a zero. We compare the new notion of conjugacy with existing notions, characterize the conjugacy in subsemigroups of partial transformations through digraphs and restrictive partial homomorphisms.

IDENTITIES PRESERVED UNDER EPIS OF PERMUTATIVE POSEMIGROUPS

        Shah, Aftab Hussain,Bano, Sakeena,Ahanger, Shabir Ahmad The Kangwon-Kyungki Mathematical Society 2022 한국수학논문집 Vol.30 No.2

In 1985, Khan gave some sufficient conditions on semigroup identities to be preserved under epis of semigroups in conjunction with the general semigroup permutation identity. But determination of all identities which are preserved under epis in conjunction with the general permutation identity is an open problem in the category of all semigroups and hence, in the category of all posemigroups. In this paper, we first find some sufficient conditions on an identity to be preserved under epis of posemigroups in conjunction with any nontrivial general permutation identity. We also find some sufficient conditions on posemigroup identities to be preserved under epis of posemigroups in conjunction with the posemigroup permutation identity, not a general permutation identity.

EPIS, DOMINIONS AND ZIGZAG THEOREM IN COMMUTATIVE GROUPS

        Shah, Aftab Hussain,Nabi, Muneer,Ahanger, Shabir Ahmad The Kangwon-Kyungki Mathematical Society 2022 한국수학논문집 Vol.30 No.3

In this paper, we introduce the notion of tensor product in groups and prove its existence and uniqueness. Next, we provide the Isbell's zigzag theorem for dominions in commutative groups. We then show that in the category of commutative groups dominions are trivial. This enables us to deduce a well known result epis are surjective in the category of commutative groups.

Synthesis and Smooth Muscle-Selective Relaxant Activity of a Piperidine Analogue: 1-(4'-Fluorophenacyl)-4-Hydroxy-4-Phenyl-Piperidinium Chloride

Syed Intasar Hussain Taqvi,Muhammad Nabeel Ghayur,Anwarul Hassan Gilani,Zafar Saeed Saify,Mohammad Tariq Aftab 대한약학회 2006 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.29 No.1

The antispasmodic and vasodilator activities of a newly synthesized piperidine derivative (1-(4'- fluorophenacyl)-4-hydroxy-4-phenyl-piperidinium chloride) were studied in vitro. The test compound exhibited a dose-dependent relaxant effect on the spontaneous and K+ (75 mM)- induced contractions of isolated rabbit jejunum with respective EC50 values of 0.01 mM (0.01- 0.02, 95% CI) and 0.30 mM (0.17-0.56). The Ca++ channel blocking (CCB) activity was confirmed when the test compound (0.1-0.2 mM) shifted the Ca++ dose-response curves to the right, similar to that produced by verapamil (0.1-1.0 µM), a standard CCB. In the isolated rabbit aorta, the test compound showed a dose-dependent vasodilator effect on K+ (75 mM)- induced contractions with an EC50 value of 0.08 mM (0.02-0.26) while also suppressed the norepinephrine (1 µM) control peak responses with EC50 value of 0.08 mM (0.05-0.13, n=5). When tested in Langendorff perfused rabbit heart preparation, the test compound exhibited a negligible inhibitory effect on the rate or force of atrial and ventricular contractions when tested up to 5 mM. The results show smooth muscle-selective relaxant effect of the test compound on intestinal and vascular preparations mediated possibly via blockade of voltage and receptoroperated Ca++ channels.

      • Integration of RFID Network Planning with Xbee Network : A New Approach

        Khalid Hasnan,Aftab Ahmed,Badrul-aisham,Qadir Bakhsh,Kamran Latif,Kashif Hussain 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Smart Home Vol.10 No.4

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a wireless technology used for real time identification and data capture of items. It replaces the traditional barcode at retail shop, warehousing, logistics and supply chain management etc. The basic requirements for deploying RFID network are to know the number of readers needed, location of the readers and the efficient power setting for each reader. The optimal solution of RFID network planning problems can be achieved by the implementation of newly developed Multi-Colony Global Particle Swarm Optimization (MC-GPSO) algorithm, which computes objective functions scientifically. However owing to the limited transmission range of RFID reader, it can track and identify items within specified range only. A novel approach to integrate RFID network planning with XBee wireless mesh network was developed. It could enhance the communication range and visibility of items identification and tracking activity faster and accurate. It also increases the tracking activity of multiple items as compared to existing barcode technology. RFID system is able to reduce the product loss or shrinkage and bullwhip effect resulting to reduce the overall cost. It also reduces the time of data transfer in global network.

The antispasmodic and vasodilator activities of a newly synthesized piperidine derivative (1-(4'fluorophenacyl)-4-hydroxy-4-phenyl-piperidinium chloride) were studied in vitro. The test compound exhibited a dose-dependent relaxant effect on the spontaneous and $K^+$ (75 mM)-induced contractions of isolated rabbit jejunum with respective $EC_{50}$ values of 0.01 mM(0.01-0.02, 95% CI) and 0.30 mM (0.17-0.56). The $Ca^{++}$ channel blocking (CCB) activity was confirmed when the test compound (0.1-0.2 mM) shifted the $Ca^{++}$ dose-response curves to the right, similar to that produced by verapamil ($0.1-1.0{\mu}M$), a standard CCB. In the isolated rabbit aorta, the test compound showed a dose-dependent vasodilator effect on $K^+$ (75 mM)-induced contractions with an $EC_{50}$ value of 0.08 mM (0.02-0.26) while also suppressed the norepinephrine ($1{\mu}M$) control peak responses with $EC_{50}$ value of 0.08 mM (0.05-0.13, n=5). • FIXED POINTS OF CHATTERJEA TYPE MULTI-VALUED F-CONTRACTIONS ON CLOSED BALL

        Muhammad Nazam,Muhammad Arshad,Aftab Hussain,H. G. Hyun 경남대학교 수학교육과 2018 Nonlinear Functional Analysis and Applications Vol.23 No.2

We introduce the notions of Chatterjea type multi-valued F-contraction and Chatterjea type multi-valued (α, η, GF )-contraction on closed ball and obtain two new fixed point theorems for such kind of contractions in complete metric spaces. Some comparative examples are given to illustrate and to show usefulness of these results among famous fixed point theorems on F-contractions.

Willingness to Shift towards Biogas-fueled Bus Rapid Transit in Karachi, Pakistan

        Farrukh Baig,Aqsa Talpur,Gopal Das,Mir Aftab Hussain Talpur,Jaeyoung Lee 대한토목학회 2024 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.28 No.4

Traffic-related environmental pollution has emerged as a concerning issue due to the increasing number of privately owned vehicles. To encourage environmentally friendly mobility, a biogas-fueled bus rapid transit (BRT) has been implemented in Karachi, Pakistan. Nevertheless, the success of the BRT system depends on effectively attracting travelers to adopt this new mode of transportation. Thus, this study explores the factors affecting the public willingness to shift to the biogas-fueled BRT by applying the push-pull-mooring theory framework. A disjoint reflective-reflective second-order model was developed using the structural equation modeling technique. This study found that push factor (perceived inconvenience and perceived environmental threat), pull factor (green transport policies, biogas-fueled BRT system, and subjective norms), Mooring (inertia), and media influence (social media influence and traditional media influence) are the factors directly or indirectly affecting the willingness to shift towards biogas-fueled BRT in Karachi, Pakistan. This study sheds light on the importance of designing green transport policies and green infrastructure, developing positive subjective norms about biogas-fueled BRT, and enhancing a sense of convenience traveling through biogas-fueled BRT. Additionally, the study suggests that disseminating awareness about environmental threats and managerial applications to discourage using privately owned vehicles will help shift people toward biogas-fueled BRT.
