        한국과 미국 공공 임대아파트 거주자의 이동과 단지 내 활동 - 서울 SH공사 아파트와 미네소타 주 PHA 아파트의 비교를 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this research is to compare residents' movement and activities in SH apartment in Yangcheon-Gu, Seoul (SH apartment) and PHA apartment in St. Paul, Minnesota (PHA apartment) in order to improve the quality of rental housing environment. This study had surveyed 418 residents of SH apartments in Korea and used the secondary data gathered from 1,462 residents of PHA apartments in the United States. The results of this study are as follows: The criteria of Korean residents in SH apartments when choosing their residences are lower rent payment and shorter waiting time. They seemed to have no other options than public rental housing. On the contrary, American residents in PHA apartment had more option to choose from. Therefore, Korea needs to offer more variety types of residents that can be lead to better satisfaction of low income classes. Most of the SH apartments residents has lived for long-term, in the average of more than 6 years, and wanted to live continually at their current dwelling. PHA residents showed similar tendency. However, long term residency may lead to permanent occupation of the public rental apartment by the same family. Hence, a system which can provide equal residency opportunities to all low-income classes need to be developed. Residents of SH apartment were satisfied with the personal activities but were not satisfied with group activities among residents or regarding resident meetings. However, residents of PHA apartments were more satisfied with their management because there is more in-housing-complex activity programs. Therefore, more activity program for a resident should be developed after analysing programs of different apartments and current conditions in Korea. There were some noticeable divergences among residents, based on their age, term of residence and physical, emotional and mental problem, when evaluating in-housing-complex's programs. Thus, these factors are also need to be considered when planning and examining evaluation about the management of rental apartments.

        살기 좋은 지역 만들기 관점에서 본 생활지원서비스와 연계한 공공 임대아파트의 방향 - 서울 SH공사 아파트와 미국 세인트폴 시 PHA 아파트의 질적 연구 -

        The purpose of this qualitative research is to compare the community service and situation of SH apartment in Yangcheon-Gu and PHA apartment in Minnesota in order to grasp the requirement for livable community. For the study, depth-interview method was used to collect the data. Throughout this research, we found the ways to create a livable community as follows: Rental apartments are supplied by Seoul Housing agency in Korea while in US by PHA, an independent government agency. Both of them are in direct management. There are five main topics to be discussed. First, as a main supplier of services, it is Yangchun-Gu's social welfare center in Korea, while PHA in US. Second, as a mean of giving services, Korean residents visit the welfare center. On the other hand, PHA apartments enforces service-to-customer policies. Third, as a Korean service, they are consultation targeting families, children, teenagers, disabled, olds, education, medical examinations, rehabilitation and free meals. In US PHA apartments, they are medical health professionals, social worker, beauty salon or barber shop, bus to shopping area, bookmobile, OK card program, CHSP, ASI, ALP, personal care, senior/congregate dinning and etc. Fourth, both Korean and US have same hindrance for the 'livable community' policies which is funding and conflict of residents. Fifth, both Korean and US think that the key for the success of 'livable community' are resources, service and residents. The differences between Korea and US concerning service conditions such as supply of rental apartments, management and services are caused by cultural, ethnic and economical differences. From another point of view, Korean apartments are predicted to have similar problems like PHA apartments, and preparative attitude for this is needed.

        서울지역 아파트의 규모별 실내디자인 리모델링에 대한 심층 사례 연구

        The purpose of this study is providing useful information for consumer-friendly house plan by investigating remodeling apartments according to the area type and size. In order to achieve this aim, case study was applied. The case study was conducted of five small, medium, and large size apartments through depth-interviews, actual survey, and questionnaires on the remodeling behavior, interior design, and interior atmosphere. The results of the study are as follows: Structural alterations were frequent in communal area, and then in private and household areas. Changing lighting fixtures was frequent in all area types, and especially, in communal areas installing extra decoration was frequently observed. Besides, alterations of doors and window frames were carried out in communal, private, housework and service areas by using wood, aluminum sashes, double-glazing, and paint coating. Finally, in housework areas the material and color of counters were changed into wooden and achromatic.

        대형 평형 브랜드 아파트의 욕실 평면에 대한 거주자 평가

        This research grasped the change of bathroom type, the present status for the residents" bathrooms, the level of satisfaction and preference for the residents" bathrooms, along with the plane of large-size apartment. This research aims to contribute to making the bathroom space to be able to satisfy the residents" desires. A total of 115 samples, acquired via internet survey, were analyzed with the statistical computer program SPSS PC+ 15.0 with the bathroom plane analysis. The results of this research are as follows. 1) As the results of the most representative plane, were divided into total 4 bathroom types, public bathrooms were 3.9-5.29㎡, couple bathrooms were over than 3.17-8.3㎡ in the average bathroom area, and there were two in less than 199㎡ and even three in more than 199㎡ in the number of bathrooms. 2) Three bathrooms were preferred by the residents who have three bathrooms now and by the younger generation though two bathrooms were preferred by most residents in the bathroom number. Most of the public bathrooms and couple bathrooms were considered to be proper in the bathroom area. 3) The preferred types were different according to each brand in the preference of the bathroom form. This means that to present a new plane figure including various bathroom forms is recommended in planning the bathroom space hereafter, that the bathroom spaces are changing. 4) In the bathroom environment, to present the technical solution through the study for the natural lighting and the sound arresting is required. This research hopes that the results of this research will be able to be used as the basic data to provide the bathroom space equipped with a pleasant environment condition to the residents.

        명동 패션 플래그쉽 스토어의 인테리어 디자인 평가

        브랜드 이미지가 소비자 구매행동에 커다란 영향을 미치게 되면서 많은 기업들이 브랜드 아이덴티티 구축을 위해 플래그쉽 스토어를 운영하고 있다. 본 연구는 패션 플래그쉽 스토어의 효과적인 계획 시 활용 가능한 자료 제공을 목적으로, 명동에 있는 패션 플래그쉽 스토어 6곳의 인테리어 디자인 현황을 분석하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 토탈 인테리어 디자인 평가 결과 공간적 요소와 장식적 요소 중 가구의 점수가 가장 낮게 나타나 매장 내 편의가구의 설치가 필요하였다. 둘째, 디스플레이의 형태 및 방법, 가구의 형태 및 매장 분위기와의 조화, 조명의 형태, 마네킹, 카운터, 피팅룸, 고객 편의시설, 접근성, 간판에 대한 고려 역시 필요하다고 사료되었다. 셋째, 패션 플래그쉽 스토어는 브랜드 로고 및 심벌마크를 활용한 간판, 브랜드 아이덴티티를 살린 파사드 등으로 브랜드의 이미지를 부각시켰고, 내부공간에도 로고 부착, 브랜드 컨셉을 반영한 디스플레이를 하고 있었다. 다양한 형태의 디스플레이, 마네킹, 가구, 조명 등을 활용해 제품을 부각시키고 있었으며, 고객이 즐겨 찾고 머무를 수 있는 공간이 되기 위해서는 휴게공간에 대한 보완이 필요하다고 사료되었다. Many companies are running flagship stores to build their brand identities, since brand images highly influence purchase behaviors of customers. To provide data helpful in setting out an effective plan of fashion flagship stores, this study analyzed the current state of interior design of 6 fashion flagship stores in Myeong-dong. The study results are as follows. First, in terms of total interior design, among spatial elements and decorative elements, furniture obtained the lowest score. This means there is a need to install convenient furniture in the stores. Second, there is a need to consider the form and method of display, the form of furniture and the harmony with the store atmosphere, the form of lighting, the mannequin, counter, the fitting room, the convenient facility for customers, the accessibility and the signboard. Third, the fashion flagship stores emphasized brand images using signboards which apply brand logos and symbol marks, and facade that express brand identities, and attached logos to interior spaces, or installed displays that reflect brand concepts. In conclusion, the fashion flagship stores were emphasizing the products using various forms of displays, mannequins, furniture and lighting and it is considered that the rest spaces should be improved for customers to visit often and stay comfortably.

        초등학교 실내 환경 개선을 위한 평가요소에 관한 연구 -2005년 이후 개교한 서울특별시 초등학교를 대상으로-

        (연구배경 및 목적) 초등학교의 실내 환경은 학생들의 흥미나 용구를 만족 시키고, 장애우를 포함한 전 학교 구성원들이 안전하고 쾌적한 환경에서 지낼 수 있게 공간이 형성되어야 한다. 그러므로 이를 위하여 초등학교 실내 환경의 개선을 위한 평가기준이 필요하다고 생각되어진다. (연구방법) 이에 본 연구에서는 초등학교의 실내 환경의 평가를 위한 기준의 마련을 위하여 한국과 일본의 관련법규 지침 및 선행연구 등의 분석을 토대로 각 공간과 시설에 대한 평가표를 마련하였다. 완성된 평가표로 실측조사를 실시하여, 분석결과를 바탕으로 향후 쾌적한 초등학교의 실내 환경을 도모하기 위한 개선방향을 제시하고자 하였다. (결과) 개발된 평가표의 세부평가 항목은 교수학습영역의 73항목, 지원영역의 항목이 32개였다. 그밖에 생활영역은 119개 항목, 공통영역은 75개 항목으로, 총 299개 항목으로 구성되었다. 영역별 평가표의 내용은 <표 4>부터 <표13>과 같다. 향후에는 심미성 측면의 개선을 위한 평가항목과 함께 이용자 시점에서 실내 환경에 대한 만족도 및 요구도를 파악하는 조사도 함께 시행되어 종합적인 개선사항을 파악하는 노력이 필요하다고 생각된다. (Background and Purpose)Elementary school facilities should be spaces that are dedicated to satisfying the interests and desires of students. On top of that, all school members, including students with disabilities, should enjoy a safe and clean environment. Thus, there is a need for an elementary school interior checklist that would promote unity among the school`s community and propel it in the direction of learning and an overall life education. (Method) Therefore, this study assesses the interior environments of elementary schools. A checklist was developed through an analysis of Korean and Japanese regulatory guidelines and previous studies. The checklist was designed to assess elementary school facilities and analyze problems based on this assessment. (Result)The checklist was broadly categorized into teaching and learning areas, life areas, support areas, and common areas. The teaching and learning areas of the checklist comprised 73items, support areas 32 items, life areas 119 items, and common areas 75 items, with a total of 299 items. The results are displayed in Table 3 through Table 12.In the future, it will be necessary to evaluate overall synthetic improvements by creating assessment items concerning aesthetic aspects and by conducting research to assess user satisfaction and desire concerning interior design.
